I am pleased to write an excellent review about the manager, Shay, at the Hallandale Beach Public Storage Units. I rented 2 units, a 10x20 unit and a 10x30 unit for 7 months. I encountered a problem while at this location and asked Shay for her help in resolving the issue. She went out of her way to get in touch with the district manager, telling him what the problem was and subsequently allowing me to talk with him on the phone. He was polite, helpful and caring and made a decision that was positive for me. Without going into detail, I want to stress how wonderful Shay was..As stated above, when I approached her with my problem, she was eager to please and went above and beyond the call of duty to help me solve the problem. She always greeted me with a smile and was more than kind and courteous whenever I came in to pay my bill. Three cheers for an employee who tries her hardest and best to always be professional and at the same time, remain a decent and caring human being.

I have been to this facility twice and both times I interacted with Shay. When I walked in, she was prepared to communicate/interact with me (she was not playing on a cellphone or tablet). She was knowledgeable, friendly and showed that she had a sense of humor that complemented her self-confidence. Honestly, there is not enough space here to elaborate on what a positive experience I had interacting with Shay. She exceeded my expectations and there is doubt that she considers the quality of her work to be of the utmost importance. Her agreeable personality and the fact that she noticed small details is what makes a business like this a success.

I had a terrible experience with public storage on Pembroke Road in Hallandale Florida I rented a storage there and when I went to check on the storage the storage was full of RATS thats right RATS I was so Upset I could not believe it. I ended my contract with them right away after losing so much of my property. I will never recommend anyone there ever. I filled out a claim on them and they only wanted to offer me 250.00 which with anything I lost total about 750.00 the RATS ate into my clothes, sheets, towels, lamp shades and the list goes on. Please make sure you checkout your units to see if there are any RATS there TRUST ME... Nn

Cristina went above and beyond her call of duty and was extraodindary in her customer service. I was stuck in traffic and had to have the unit that day. She waited for me and took excellent care of me. She was a life-saver that day. I would give stars across the board, except the condition of the units could be better. Cleaner and better maintained would go a long way and give a better sense of security. I would reccommend this location.

My sister has a rental storage here. So I decided to go in to look at a unit. When I tell you the Customer Service was EXCELLENT! Shay was very knowledgeable and helpful. I am moving in a week and will definitely be coming back to rent a unit. I will also be sure to refer my friends and family. Its always a joy to do business with a great company with very nice and concerned employees who put the needs of the customers FIRST.

Wow... went to price and see what size bay, Ill need to rent if i decide its needed. And loved the service given by Ms. Shay, she showed me the space to give me an idea of size ill need and gave me detailed information. Not everywhere you go the service is great. And If i do decide to rent, i dont care what the price is. I just want to rent from someone or spend my money somewhere were the service is great.

SHAY! SHAY SHAY SHAY! Shay is the most wonderful person! Shes so sweet and helpful and kind! I hope I need to keep my stuff in storage just so I can visit her! Shes amazing when answering the phone, shes amazing when I forget my gate code! This is by far, the best place your store your belongings! Safe, gated, lit in the evenings, great hours! I walked in and the atmosphere was very pleasant. ..the young lady Shay that helped me was so so nice, very respectful and have alot of patients. .it was time to close and she still stayed took time and helped me threw my worst point i was so happy and pleased...i will refer ppl and keep up the good work Shay the company needs more like you. Went to public storage today, looking to rent and was very pleased with the two young ladies. Plan on renting next month, was comparing prices. Went somewhere else before I got to this store and the employee was not as nice. The ladies not only showed me the space but gave me all the information needed. Even if I decide not to rent storage, really hopes this helps someone.

On 5/31/17 I was in and the associate Shay must have been having a bad morning. She acted as if I was her problem. She was on her phone while trying to help me. She was rude and made my visit very very very unpleasant. So unpleasant that Im in the store right now doing this review. This associate customer service SUCKS. P.S. I wish I could give negative Stars.

This property is old, dirty and very badly maintained. The lady at the front desk is very bad and rude. The rental rules are so bad, you have to bring a sheet of paper from Notar Public to confirm that your belongings belongs to you. Respectively, I go to Extra space storage to join them and rent from them.
