LaPensee provided a bid last summer for my pool renovation including pool decking. I called them last month to review the bid as I was ready to move forward. After 3 phone calls, 3 emails and 2 telephone appointments that were missed on their end I finally had the privilege of speaking with Tom. He informed me he wanted to look at the pool again, review the contract work scope & get back to me immediately.......that was 2 weeks ago.....not a word from him since. I did receive 2 other bids for the pool travertine paver work. With the same square footage measured & same materials specified, the 2 other paver companies were within $800 of each other on the bid. LaPensee was $13,700 higher. I will not do business with LaPensee due to obvious rip off pricing with the pavers and total lack of professionalism. I do not recommend this company.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this company. LaPensee has done (among other normal plumbing jobs) a total pool renovation for me. Having spent 1 1/2 years in a total home renovation, I can say Lapensee was the only one of my contractors that I turned loose and let them do their thing. No baby sitting here. Tom the project manager was here checking at least once a day and he did the managing for me. As a matter of fact, he even took over the coordinating of the paver company. The workers were polite, competent and trustworthy. When I hit the lottery, they will be building my lazy river pool! I have nothing bad to say about this company and their people.

I never knew that owning a pool and keeping it maintained could be so easy! With Lapensee pool maintenance team on the job, I have no worries. We have had the pleasure of enjoying a Lapensee maintained pool for 5 years. My pool always has sparkling clear water, they keep the chemicals all in balance and keep my pool clean all for a very reasonable monthly rate. They put the joy into pool ownership! We are Lapensee fans.

For my business and personal property I use Lapensee all the time. Great picture below of why. My 4 year old son was fascinated with a shower fix at my personal residence. The Lapensee technician was patient with my son and even paused for a picture while he dressed up in his firemans costume for a photo. The details make a big difference. Thanks Lapensee! Oh yah, of course the shower is fixed!

Our air-conditioner malfunctioned two days before Hurricane Irma hit Florida. Not even an impending hurricane would stop LaPensee from immediately sending out a representative (Paulus) to diagnose and repair the unit. The air conditioner was up and running within an hour. Absolutely excellent service and professional staff. Highly recommend LaPensee Plumbing, Pools and Air.

LaPensee repaired my back flow valve earlier in the year, great work. Had to call them back out because of particles from the county water supply, again, great work. Theyll be the ones I call if I decide to put in a filtration system because Manatees water sucks.

I have had continuous problems with pool maintenance. The tech does not know how to program my pool and rarely tests my water. I have a camera to watch them as they service my pool and it is below standard. I would not recommend them.
