Granted it was 1996, but I have never forgotten how prejudiced the office staff was against me (led me around in circles), presumably because I was a woman (or did they give rotten service to everyone regardless of sex?). I was unable to make an appointment for someone to go out to a rental property to prepare an estimate to fix the plumbing so, after unnecessarily having to go into the office to make an appointment for same, they finally sent someone out. I know because he got lost trying to find my second apartment in a 52-unit complex and had to call for directions. Trouble was, nobody ever bothered to send me the estimate. Maybe they werent interested in redoing only two baths and kitchens? Found Pritchard Plumbing, which was more than happy to do the work. Never called Wyman again. Doubt that theyve changed attitudes and service that basic.

Called Wyman after seeing water pouring out of my back flow preventer. They sent a guy right over. The guy did not come to the door to let us know he was turning off the water. The only way I knew he was here working was when I tried to wash my hands and found no water. He replaced the internal parts and left. Two days later I saw water dripping out so I called them back. They came over and went through it again. Two days later I saw water dripping out so... Yesterday I saw water dripping out so I called Wyman plumbing back. They told me that the back flow preventer was not repairable. Dont trust this company. They now want over $500.00 to replace the back flow device. Called another plumber and he charges $350.00.

Our rental property had a leak where the shut off valve is. It was 8 p.m. when the tenant called me. I called a locally owned plumbing company and the service said someone would call me right back. After a second call and 50 minutes later without hearing back from them, I called Wyman Plumbing and also got an answering service. But less than two minutes later the on-call guy returned my call. Twenty minutes later he was at the property and had the issue fixed within 15 minutes. He then called to let me know it was completed. And shortly after that, our tenant called me to tell me how courteous he had been, and said that when she offered him a tip, he politely refused it.
