This is the 3rd time Ive hired College Hunks and will continue to use them in the future. Originally I was going to only give 4 stars based on my 2nd experience but the 3rd experience convinced me to bump the score up to 5 stars. The 1st time I used these guys was 5 years ago and the guys were fast and professional. Most recently I have used their services twice in the past 2 weeks. The condo I was living in was being sold at the last minute and I had 60 days to move. So I was extremely stressed. When I called College Hunks the first thing the man asked was how could he make my move stress free. That was exactly what I needed to hear. In a time where basic customer service over the phone is hard to come by, I HAVE to tip my hat to whoever hires and trains their call center reps because they have, by far provided some of THE most superior customer service Ive experienced in a long time. Believe me because I come from a banking and financial services call center background and I know first-hand how hard it is to get someone compassionate and friendly on the phone. The gentleman went over all the details of my move and my needs to ensure they provided me only the best. I was set with a move time of 1-3 on a Saturday. Saturday comes and the movers are delayed by nearly 4 hours, finally arriving at 5:30. To their credit, John called me to say he would be handling my move and he kept me aware of the delay every step of the way. Apparently they had an 8 man move the night before and worked until 4am so they were short staffed. John apologized profusely and guaranteed my things would be in the truck and in my storage unit before 9 when it closed. The whole team was friendly and worked fast. I was supposed to also have junk removal scheduled immediately following the movers and they never even called. Thankfully John handled that by including my junk removal in with my move which saved me an extra headache. The 3 man team moved my things in and did my junk removal in about 3 hours and the overall bill came to $630. Given the fact that they were several hours late and the junk removal crew never called, a discount would have been nice considering I made it clear they would be moving my same items to an apt from my storage unit in exactly one week. I did voice my concern about this when I booked my move the following Saturday and was contacted by a manager who assured me they would send their best moving captain to make sure this next move went much smoother and indeed it did. Xavier and Gerren were excellent. Xavier was the move captain and I see why they say he is the best! Exceptional customer service, careful with all items and attentive to my requests. Gerren also was very professional and provided some much needed comic relief to an overall long and exhausting moving experience for me. Believe me I have moved many times over the years and have had some terrible experiences with other moving companies I shall not name in this review, but this company is nothing like the others. I thoroughly enjoyed working with College Hunks and will use them again and recommend them to any one in need of courteous and fast moving services! PS- Just a tip. If you have repeat customers using your movers over a short period of time, a discount or rewards points are something to consider for keeping those loyal customers coming back. Moves are definitely a huge expense, among many other things like deposits and storage units, and repeat customers would always appreciate the companys way of saying thank you for using their services multiple times. Im looking forward to using you guys for my next move!

HUNKS- (Honest Uniformed Nice Knowledgeable Students!-And they really are so so nice.) My husband was offered a job he couldnt refuse. He took the job out of state and I was instantly hit with the prospect of moving quickly. Lisa came by and gave me a quote the day that I inquired on the internet. I was so impressed with the quick response and her professionalism. I hired this company for two jobs: day 1-packing everything we own in our house in boxes, day 2-loading two Penske trucks with all those boxes and our furniture. I cant recommend this company enough. The young, strong, polite, educated, uniformed movers were so nice and easy going that they actually caused me to relax while they touched all my things!!!! LOL. I was so worried that I would be stressed that day, but they actually handled everything so well that I relaxed a little on packing day. I was very nervous about my dishes being packed with paper, because I had read somewhere on the internet that you should use bubble wrap. My Grandmothers had given my dishes to me and they were very sentimental to me. Well, not one of our dishes was broken during the move! All of our pictures, wall hangings, and art made the move without any damage. I waited until I unpacked everything to do their review to make sure that all the fragile items made it. They did and now Im happy they used paper because I can re-use it or recycle it. They know what they are doing. Trust them. On the initial walk through of our house on moving day I walked through to show them all the rooms and just in passing mentioned that a ceramic cat was something I made as a child and irreplaceable if broken. I didnt really think of it again until one of the movers brought a special box marked "FRAGILE CAT" to me. He said I packed the ceramic cat with extra paper in its own box. This type of detail was given to each room of my house. The quote was very much in line with the final bill that day. On moving day, they loaded two vans...even in the rain! I only wish they could have been at my final destination to unload me. The loading day went over the initial quote by an hour, but Lisa had been very upfront with me about loading day being an hourly rate. I watched those guys sweat and work so hard that day with smiles on their faces. I had no problem paying the extra hour plus a tip. (Hint....tip these guys...they deserve it!) Overall, the experience was amazing! I would highly recommend them. I would use them again. They honestly blew me away. The professionalism was over the top. Moving is supposed to be stressful. These guys will take some of that stress away. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. Thanks Lisa and Hunks! Cheryl Bennett

This started out as a 5 star review. Id give it a 3.5 if theyd let me. The guys came out and were very nice and professional. They definitely worked hard throughout the entire move and didnt slack off. We chose these guys because of their reviews although they were the most expensive. Here are the cons of my experience. 1. We were billed for 7 hours although it was only 6.5 hours. At $190 per hour that adds up to quite a bit of overbilling. 2. During a final walk through I pointed out several items that Id pointed out already, and was told theyd get it. The day after we come back to our house to find they still didnt get everything they said they would and we have to hire someone else to finish. I suppose we should have done a second "final" walk through. 3. While they took great care with our furniture I did find a pretty deep scratch on top of an expensive wood dresser that was made during the move. We should have checked everything in detail before they left. 4. The night before our move we did a walk through on our brand new apartment and found no damage. After the movers left we found dents in the walls and doors. We should have checked before they left but felt rushed when paperwork was out before us with a "sign here". All in all I would consider using them again, however I would take a different approach when double checking their work. If they bang furniture on a wall they would know they did it, and I would assume they would have the integrity to check or at least tell you. I would definitely go back behind them and triple check everything, although I felt a company of this caliber was above that. Just friendly advice for anyone looking to use any moving company.
