If you are looking to make a move, I URGE YOU NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY. They are deceitful, untrustworthy, and do not provide the customer service that they promise. The owner aka Big Mike is all talk. I was given particular dates that a driver would pick-up and the driver never showed up and the crew from the moving company showed without notice and no warning and when I called to speak with the manager, they were clueless about what transpired. The crew new more than the moving organizer. They knew that the driver was not showing up and that they were taking my stuff to the warehouse. Finally I got that resolved to find out that the date my stuff was suppose to arrive they could not secure a driver or atleast he did not have enough space in his truck to take everything. Mike stated that he would send one of his trucks to make sure that I received my stuff on time. The scheduled date of delivery and the date the stuff arrived was two days later only to find that half of our stuff was missing. The Baymeadows movers did not even have the decency to notifiy me. I found out from the local moving company who did Baymeadows a favor. I finally received other half the following day. Ive moved several times long distance and they all seem to have their issues but the service that Baymeadows movers provide is by far the worst. I would really advise you to stary away.

From my initial contact to the delivery of our furniture/belongings BayMeadows Moving and Storage provided stellar service. Moving is extremely stressful and the Baymeadows team made this the easiest move I have ever experienced. A Huge Thanks to Dayan for coordinating everything, to Mr. Tom and Mr. John for their fantastic packing job, Mr. Bill for delivering our vehicles so proficiently and promptly, Mr. Larry and crew in FL for expert packing of everything and to Mr. Larry again for the smooth, expert delivery of everything. Also, to Dewayne, Trey and Tom of Elite moving and storage for making move in day seem so quick and effortless. Last but not least, Mr. Mark and team for unpacking and reassembling my piano. It takes a village to raise a child and it also takes a village to move a family . My immense gratitude and appreciation goes to all ......

I was not happy that they did not deliver my boxes to the rooms that were marked on the outside of the the boxes. Many of these boxes were too heavy for me to move to the right rooms. An example is boxes that were marked basement storage were put in my kitchen. I called to let them know that a large tool box with complete set of metric and regular sockets, a set of screw drivers, pipe wrenches, etc is missing. I was told that they would look for it but that it was not going to be replaced by the insurance that I took out on my belongings. I did not have room to put this in my car so I trusted them to deliver it to my house. This was a mistake. I have a house full of antiques and too many of them were broken in the move. I cant say that I would recommend them to anyone elce if you value your belongings. Barbara

The entire staff at Baymeadows was professional, friendly and skilled. Our international move at that end was a treat. Sadly, our furnishings were transferred to another mover to cross the border. He was a disaster. He changed the delivery date five times, eventually forcing us to sleep on the floor after dismantling our lone bed. He said he would pay for a hotel room then backtracked on the offer. He kept us waiting three hours at Canadian Border Services after he picked the time for us to meet, then said his battery was dead. (And the dog ate his homework.) Finally he delivered our leather dining chairs spotted with mold and our sideboard lined with a white substance. (Drugs?) Baymeadows is excellent for local moves. Dont let them hand off your belongings to another shipper.

Our experience with Baymeadows Moving was terrible. -The guys they sent to hook up the washer/dryer noticed one of the water hoses was lost in transit. He shrugged and asked whether we would prefer hot or cold water, hooked up the one hose, and left. Never returned. -The guy that set up the beds had no idea what he was doing. He didnt put the little floor-protecting feet under the supports. We noticed about 3 months later after it made really deep scars damaging the hard wood floor. Do we try to get compensated? -They broke the dining room table legs, which they sent to be fixed. After 4 weeks I started calling, 5 weeks "whos your boss", 6 weeks "thats not good enough"... We finally got to eat dinner as a family 7 weeks after we moved in. -on and on and...

This is our 17th move, so its not our first rodeo. From the first contact with Baymeadows, we knew we picked the best movers in Jacksonville. Toni, who coordinates the moves, has been not only extremely professional, but personable with answers to all our questions. The estimate was complete and easy to understand. She even invited us to tour their storage facility. The day of our move, JJ, Tom and Austin were on time and totally prepared. Again, they were not only professional, but it was a delight to hang out with them while they loaded. We are looking so forward to seeing JJ and the crew this week with all our worldly belongings. This has been THE best moving experience!!!!

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use these people. They absolutely demolished a $1500 headboard, smashed a $400 end table, and splintered parts of a $200 Oak chair. There were also other items damaged, but not to a great extent. I asked for a fair settlement, not the full value. Their sorry, cheap offer was $357, total. Even after numerous attempts to gain a fair amount, their rep just said, "Sorry, read the fine print." There is a difference between a few nicks and scratches and totally destroying things, yet these jerks refuse to pay for their mistakes. My advice to all would be to find a company that shows responsibility. One star is waaaaaaaaay too high of a rating .

Nightmare! Items were broken and lost. They quit moving at about 2:50pm because they had to "get back" by 5pm. The office demanded a credit card before they even reached the stop to unload but promised an accounting of charges. I have not gotten that one week later. I called on numerous occasions to retrieve lost items, find out about repairs to broken items and get a statement of charges but they neither return the call or give me an answer when I am on the line. I have moved across country, interstate and locally and NEVER had anything like this. Do not use this company! I still have to hire another mover to finish the move as they did not finish!

Could not have had nicer guys to move and store my things. However, their inability to post payments correctly caused a very nasty man to call and leave a threatening message on my answering machine. Had never had any previous phone calls indicating a problem with my account and the most recent billing was for the current month. I understand things can get posted incorrectly, so if they had called and said there was a problem we would have been happy to give them copies of cancelled checks. However, for the first phone call to be so nasty and threatening legal action is no way to run a business. I WILL NEVER recommend this company to anyone
