I recently went on a guided tour in Japan (Japan Deluxe Tours) that I booked through Great Escapes Travel. It was the trip of a lifetime, I feel so blessed to not only have gone to Japan but to have gone on a tour that was so tailored to my interests. This would not have been possible if it wasnt for the help of Greg King at Great Escapes Travel. This was my first time going overseas (also, alone!) and I had absolutely no idea where to start when it came to booking my trip, so I figured Id seek the help of a travel agent & Im glad I did. Greg is a very kind & personable guy that genuinely cares about making your trip the best it can be. I love Japanese culture & I love anime. Greg found the perfect tour for me - one that allowed me to learn about & experience both old Japan & new. We visited many shrines, saw real Maiko in Gion, got a breathtaking view of Mt Fuji, visited a sake museum & a kimono museum as well as saw a kimono fashion show, and attended a formal tea ceremony as well as stayed at a hot springs resort. I wanted history and culture & I got it on this tour! That was only the first half though. I also experienced modern Japan and visited many places anime fans would be envious of! We shopped in Harajuku, saw the statue in honor of Hachiko in Shibuya, visited the Ghibli Museum, got a breathtaking view of Tokyo in Tokyo Tower, went to J World and Animate in Akihabara (an insanely popular anime store with 5 floors!), and went to the Robot Restaurant! Every hotel was exceptional and my tour group was filled with awesome people. All of the tour guides were kind, knowledgeable, & spoke perfect english. Even my flight was great, I highly recommend Japan airlines. Also, Im a vegetarian & Greg put in a special request that all my meals be vegetarian both on the flight & during the tour (our lunches were included on this tour). All of the meals were awesome, even on the plane. I honestly didnt know what to expect going into this and being a 26yr old female who was about to travel overseas alone, I was so nervous, but Im so happy I did it! This trip met all my expectations & Id do it all over again in a heartbeat. I cant wait to go back to Japan someday!

We worked with Greg King to plan a trip with our friends who were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary and we were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. We were also taking our children whose ages ranged from 8-17 so we were looking for something that we could all enjoy!! We were originally scheduled to go to Cabo but it got hit by the hurricane so Greg spent HOURS working on our trip to get us to a different location and still accommodate all of our needs. We ended up going to the Riviera Maya and our resort was incredible. It was very nice and clean and the service was amazing. We would definitely use Great Escapes Travel again and look forward to working with Greg again very soon!!

We used Chris Schwenk for our 50th anniversart trip. First Capri, then Venice. Boarded the Seabourn Quest for 10 days, arriving in Monte Carlo. Chris aranged all the airtravel, private yacht from at 5:30 am from Capri to Napoli, so we could get the flight to Venice. Private cars for all connections throughout the trip. All were on time, spoke english and were very helpful. He took all the thought and work out of this trip. Was excellent, professional travel advice and care. If you are fortunate enough to plan your journey with Peggy in Lake Mary, you can rest assured you will embark on a great adventure! Every detail of our French riverboat cruise, followed by a visit to Paris was handled professionally and with extraordinary attention to detail and to the needs of our group of six. Peggy listened carefully and responded accordingly to our travel dreams, as well as our budget requirements . One week before our trip, we met to review documents ,and at that time she answered all questions which set realistic expectations . We could not have asked for more from a travel agent, and as soon as possible, we shall return!

We spent 11 days on board Celebrity Cruise Lines Reflection. We spent 3 days in Rome, sailed through Italy, Greece and Turkey. The most glorious 2 weeks ever! A life-changing vacation.
