Ive rented many trucks from multiple different truck rental companies over the years (U-Haul, Ryder, Budget, etc.) and I have to say that renting a U-Haul truck from 54 U Store was the best experience Ive ever had. They had trucks of every variety available and ready for my appointed pick-up time. The truck I rented was very clean with everything in great working order, including the A/C. Everything was as it should have been -- no surprises, no extra costs, every part of the rental agreement was happily explained to me. They even went around the truck with me so we could inspect its condition, mileage, and gas level together. What really makes this place stand out is the staff. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional, and extremely competent. They were open when they said they were going to be open and they did what they said they were going to do with no problems whatsoever. You cant ask for more than that. Id definitely use them again. Also, I havent used this place for storage yet, but if I do have a need for it, this will be the first place I go.

Had a great experience here! When we first called, they didnt have the size unit we were looking for, but they put us on a waiting list. Two days later they emailed us back and we were good to go. When I went in, there was one other customer being served, but the man behind the counter greeted me (using actual eye contact) and let me know someone would be with me soon. Connie came in less than 30 seconds later and greeted me with a smile. She put me on a golf cart and whisked me to view my unit (one of the cleanest Ive ever seen) and show me how to use the key. The signing process was quick and easy, and I was out the door in 15 minutes. Connie explained everything I needed to know and anticipated questions before I even had them. What a pleasure! Would definitely recommend.

As the Owner I find it necessary to post the following reply to the previous review. We are a storage facility not an office building. In an effort to provide effective service, easy access and maintain an exceptional facility for our 800 Storage Customers, 150 Boat and RV spaces, retail sales and 600 U-Haul rentals per month , we must sometimes decline to rent our facility to certain very high access and high maintenance users. All of our customers receive the attention and service they expect and deserve today. See all other reviews for a true picture.

This place is fantastic! I am a "long term" renter because I am a Realtor that sometimes Stages her own homes for sale, so I have staging supplies (like furniture and accessories) that I need to have a unit for. I previously rented from store safe on collier, until they were rude and told me the owner didnt really care if they had my business or not! Appalled, I started seeking another place and found 54 U Store. THEY WERE SO NICE! TREATED ME (and my referred clients) well, and are extremely accommodating, and just plain friendly!!! One of the 1st things Pauline said to me was "we want you here, and we want your business!". FRIENDLY, SAFE, AFFORDABLE, AND CLEAN! 5 Stars here!

Not only were they the most expensive units I priced, these jerks actually dont want you to access your unit on a regular basis. It was the 2nd most convenient location for me, my first choice was full. So, I went by to purchase the unit from 54 U Store. I needed the unit for storing samples and brochures for work. The guy asked and so I told him what I was going to be using it for, then he said "oh we dont want anyone who is going to be accessing the unit on a frequent basis so yeah, Im not gonna be able to rent one to you." R u freaking kidding me? Buddy Im glad to take my business down the street, u guys r a dime a dozen and I will recommend to EVERYONE I Know to do the same.

My initial experience when canceling was not great. I was later contacted by an employee that worked to make it right. I appreciate the follow up and that somewhat turned me around on the review. The prices are a little higher at this location, but they do have a nice facility. They do have a policy that you dont get a refund when canceling if you have paid for the month, if thats not an issue for you then you may be happy at this location. I sold my items on craigslist and therefore couldnt control the timing of my exit. That created an issue when I cancelled 2 days after paying for the full month. But as I said, they worked with me to make it right, and I appreciate that.

This U-haul Rental and self storage place is great. They provided me with great service at a great price. They even shopped the competition for me and gave me a better rate... A+++ Thier facilities are very clean and have plenty of shipping supplies and boxes. Is you are wanting to store something in in Wesley Chapel or Lutz, this is the place to do it. They have all kinds of security cameras facing all kinds of directions. Again, I highly recommend these guys, they go the extra mile to make the hassle of moving more bearable.

I could not be more pleased with the service. This experience was as good as it could be. The staff was courteous, friendly and professional. The truck was there and ready. They check out was smooth and relatively quick despite it being very busy. The after hours drop off went perfectly and when we realized the next day that we left something in the truck, retrieving the item was very easy. Thank you! As a long time resident of the area, I will definitely recommend 54 Storage.

I have to say that this storage facility is the best in the area. Their customer service is super. I love that it has everything, I can rent a truck and get information about moving all at one location. The facility is the cleanest I have ever been to. They are willing to go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Thank you 54 U Store for keeping the bar so high!!

Clean,friendly, professional, helpful. Always fresh cookies and coffee in the office. Rent a U-Haul right there and theyll match any other truck rentals fee. Never had a worry with 24 hour access and security, fully sprinklered and climate controlled makes for carefree storage.
