I took two vehicles into chucks for repairs. One was a clutch problem, the other an AC problem. The clutch problem had to be brought back 5 times for the same problem in the same week. He was never able to fix the problem. I thought maybe it was difficult to fix to the age of the vehicle. I decided to give him a second chance with another vehicle with an AC problem. I have taken it back 3 times for the same problem. Each time the AC worked for a few days and quit. The last time he said he needed to order a cooling core. He said it would be ready for pickup at 5:15 pm. At 5pm we left to pick up the vehicle. At 5:10pm he calls and says it is not fixed and that he never received the part. We turned around and went home. A few minutes later he called back and said the part that he ordered was the wrong part and that it would take 5-6 days to get the correct part in. He asked if we could leave the car with him and we said no that we needed our car, but would bring it back when the part arrived. He was very upset with that. He asked if he needed to put the car back together which we stated yes. He was very rude and said that was a lot of work. I picked up my car without being fixed and will never take a vehicle back to him again. He is extremely unreliable and unprofessional. I will be letting everyone I know to stay clear of Chucks AC and Auto.

I CALLED CHUCK AND ASKED FOR A ESTAMATE, FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A SIMPLE REPAIR AND TOLD HIM WHAT WAS WRONG !! THERE WAS NO MENTION OF COST FOR THIS ESTAMATE, THEN I GET A CALL FROM CHUCK AND HE TELLS ME OF OTHER PROBLEMS AND TELLS ME A COST TO FIX IT ALL AND THEN SAYS HELL TAKE OFF SOME OF THE COST FOR THE ESTAMATE IF I ALLOW HIM TO DO THE REPAIR !! THEN I CALL AND ASK IF ANYONE WILL BE THERE SO I CAN JUST PAY FOR THE ESTAMATE AND LET HIM KNOW OF THE TIME I WILL ARRIVE. BECAUSE OF MY WORK HOURS AND I HAVE TO BE AT WORK JUST TO HOLD MY JOB MIND YOU, AND THAT IF 7:00 WOULD BE OK IN ORDER TO GIVE ME TIME TO GET THERE AFTER WORK !! HE SAID NO. NOW MY TRUCK IS HELD HOSTAGE UNTILL I CAN ARRANGE TO PICK IT UP ETHER BEFOR OR AFTER WORK. ITS BEYOND ME THAT HE DID NOT TELL ME A CHARGE WOULD BE MADE JUST TO GET A ESTAMATE.ON WHAT I ASKED TO BE REPAIRED. IS THIS STANDARD ?? IM ELDERLY AND IM ON TIGHT BUDGET AND IM FORCED TO GO BACK TO WORK TO OFFSET THE COST JUST TO BREATH.

My AC started acting up right as I am about to leave town for vacation this evening. In a panic, I went to google and looked up Chucks Auto Repair. He said that I could bring it by about 2:00 pm. I missed this window but my husband took a chance and ran by. They told us the issue quickly and then gave me a temporary fix to get by. My husband asked him what he owes and he said "$20". My husband asked if he could charge it to his card and he said "No, just bring it back by sometime." What a nice guy! What a nice thing to do! He just earned all of our future business by being kind and honest :)

The A/C went out on my wifes minivan. I took it to Chuck, who pleasantly spent a little time understanding the problem, suggested what it was likely to be, and explained that I would be paying for labor (including any further diagnostic work) at a given rate plus parts. He fixed the A/C quickly and at a lower cost than I had feared. Months later the problem has not returned. I was pleased enough with Chucks work that I have returned to have other, non-A/C-related repairs performed. His may be a small shop, but the personal service that comes with it is priceless.

Ive been going to Chucks on N Courtenay for 5 years. He will find the problem and then he will fix it! Brakes, air conditioning, and service work have all been done to my satisfaction. I recommend giving Chuck a chance to do the same for you. He is competitive, honest, and you wont need to take it back in a week with another problem. Dont know what the other guys problem was. Maybe it was him!

Super emergency service! We blew a belt on our way to Kennedy Space center during our vacation from N.Y. Googled Chucks and managed to get our car there. He gave us a fair price and got it done in one day AND let us use his personal vehicle to go to the Space Center. Much better care, pricing and service than we expected.
