1) Customer service is nonexistent: a) told me to wait 20mns for diagnostics then 30mns later (without the courtesy to let me know - had to ask) was told that itd be hours. b) called me to say that my car was ready when I showed, I had to re-explain to another technician the issue with my car. (3 hours wasted) 2) Twice put the wrong part in my car: wrong alternator for my engine and I also pointed out a noise with the "new parts" to which they replied "its totally normal, the car is old" 3) Tried to convince me that I needed more repairs after their initial screw up : new battery, starter - unnecessary but hey it makes them money 4) Charged an exorbitant amount for: an aftermarket part that costs less than a third total charge so labor rate > part by 2.5x at least In the end I requested they put the original - defective - part back in (they did not bother to ask for feedback as to why I was leaving) then went to another shop that actually fixed my car for $150 less. Moreover they intentionally tried to leave me stranded by draining out the battery knowing that the alternator was not working (saw right through that) As a Firestone membership (soon to be former) card holder for years its safe to say that your time and business will not be valued and your car even less.

Over the past 20 years, Firestone has consistently done a great job of servicing my cars, and at much lower prices than the competitors! For example, I only paid ONCE for a lifetime alignment on my 2002 Chevy Cavalier 15 years ago and Firestone has done it for free ever since! Many of the bad reviews posted here are from customers who obviously dont understand that cars need periodic maintenance such as wheel alignment, tire rotation, brake pad replacement, fluid flushing, etc. If you think Firestone charges a lot, try going to a dealership! I avoid long waits by coming in early or just dropping off my vehicle and picking it up later. Jay and his staff are always friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. They dont suggest repairs unless they are necessary. And with lifetime wheel alignment, tire rotation, wheel balancing and brakes, I save a lot of money by always coming to Firestone.

Got quoted 1hr n a half for an alignment, waited 2 hrs and asked when it would be done. They told me they actually couldnt do anything because i had a spare on. They couldve told me that as soon as they got it up there but had me wait until i inquired about it to inform me. Was very displeased, but manager gave me a fee oil change. Came back to get oil changed, and get lugnuts replaced. Waited 2 and half hours then was told they had been waiting on the parts the whole time and had not started it, only changed the oil. If i wanted to wait itd be another 2hrs at least. Underquoted me but decided to give me the quoted price. However, both times i had over 2 hours wasted due to lack of communication. Thats a definite issue here. If you do come here, i suggest you keep asking questions about time and progress. I wont come back because i was very displeased with this repeated issue.

Got my front two tires and an alignment Job done on my car. They suggested I get my brake pads changed and I decided to do it later myself after hearing the quote of $200. Two weeks later I brought my car back because one of the valve stems wasnt installed properly and was causing the tire to slowly deflate. More than a week after that I decided to replace my brakes and found that one of my front tires was missing a lug nut because it had been stripped when the tires were replaced and then covered over for me to figure out about later. They fixed the lug nut problem for me the next day. Friendly guys, and not a shady business but my experience was not spotless.

I have used this facility for years with all of my cars and trucks. I was told the motor mounts on my 2012 Scion were cracked and it cost about $600 to repair. It is still under warranty so I took it to the dealer. Motor mounts are ok. The PCV Valve was clogged and the fuel injectors are clogged. Impossible I say, Firestone said they serviced the injectors in March and just checked the valve all are fine. Rick was the manager but he retired. Firestone says to come in and they will refund my $49 for the evaluation. I HATE CROOKED MECHANICS FIRESTONE. You just lost a valuable customer.

CHEATERS!!!! Contacted them on phone asking how much would it cost to check power Windows and they said 45$ and they said said I could come in the morning to get it done quickly. When I went there they were like 45$ is for opening the panels are and checking and for closing it would be another 65$. 110$ just for checking for repairing they said Anything between 200-300$ and also that I will have to wait till evening. I did not give it for repair and went to PEP BOYS, they checked and fixed it for 50$

Such a frustrating experience. Since I had an appointment, I assumed I should drop my car off at the garage. A man in the garage yelled at the top of his lungs HEY HEY HEY! without any instructions on where to park my car. After 45 minutes of waiting (the approximate time they said it would take), I asked for an update and they said they just pulled the car into the garage. Another 45 minutes went by. During the waiting time I heard mechanics cussing at each other. It was just highly unprofessional.

Friendly and they do work with you. Had to have the wheel bearing on my 03 Tacoma replaced after another Firestone either incorrectly instead it or got a bad part. They thought they had the right tool to remove the bearing from the hub but it turned out they didnt and had to order in the tool. Because of this they overshot my estimated time of completion by a few days. However, they did pay for a rental car for me. Havent had any other work done with them just yet, Ill update this review if I do.

The actual work that they did was good, but Im an out of state college student and I feel like the guys really hassled me. Like I clearly said I couldnt afford all the stuff they said I needed to have done and its like they wouldnt take no for an answer. Its like since Im a girl they just talk over me and act like I dont know anything. ,i had to step outside and call someone I was ready to cry, I ended up leaving after 3 hours and a $400 bill.

On my way to work, my front drivers side tire blew out. I was down the block from Firestone Union Park. I was assisted by Matthew, he recommended me the tire the best fit my needs and budget. I did not have the funds but Matthew recommended a Firestone credit card that I was completely unaware they had. In all I received a new tire and alignment and was able to pay it the best way I could. Definitely recommend this location.

Tried telling me they needed to change 2 pulleys to stop my belt squeak. Wanted to charge $328 to do it. When I questioned such a high price, the service writer starts talking all ghetto and sucking his teeth after everything I say. And when I said Im gonna take my car somewhere else he tried telling me my belt is gonna rip in half while driving and my engine will explode. Ridiculous
