Took my car in to have oil changed and radiator checked b/c light came on. Knew my hub bearing was also going and would need to be replaced, I also mentioned that my heater only worked on the highest setting and asked if they could look at it too. Dropped car off, received a call later stating that nothing was wrong with radiator, but hub bearing needed replaced and that the resistor for my heater would need replaced for $100 , I authorized the work and they got started. A few hours later I received a phone call saying that after looking at it my other hub bearing also needed replaced. I told them to go ahead and told them not to rush on it and would pick the car up the following day. Next day: Wait until afternoon, no phone call, so I called them and they said, oh yeah, car is ready. Go pick it up and its covered in snow, as if it has been sitting out overnight. Didnt say anything, paid and was on my merry way. First thing I noticed; heater only worked on setting 2 and 5 ( thought, no big deal at least I have a low and high setting now ) but the next thing I noticed was 1. The radiator light was still on and 2. My traction sensor and abs lights were also on. I called and told manager Mike and he said no problem bring it back in and well look at it. Brought car in early, never got a call back, had to be dropped off b/c my ride had other places to be. Sitting in waiting area, Mike comes to tell me, the resistor (I bought) wasnt bad and that the wires to the resistor were the problem, but that theyd gladly fix the problem for $35 (didnt mention anything about this on initial assessment), also the abs sensor was unplugged but they had plugged it in for me (didnt mention this either). I told them to never mind, that I had already put $900 into my car and that I just want it back. Give it back to me within 15 minutes and Im on my way. First thing I notice; radiator light is still on but the second thing I notice is, at around 50 mph my car begins to shake and if I loosen grip on steering wheel the car pulls to the right! These guys didnt even do an alignment?! After having both front tires off the first thing Id think a professional would do is an alignment! Will not bring any car back there again. Do not recommend taking your car there.

I called yesterday and made an appointment for 9am for an alignment. I told the guy (Mike) on the phone that I needed a front end alignment only and that I needed my car done by 12:30 because I had to work at one. He was super nice and told me it would for sure be done by then. I dropped my car off and around 11:45 I still had no call back, so I callled them and told them that I needed my car done and the guy informed me they didnt even start on it yet but he would make it work So I go to pick it up at 12:30 and they tried charging me 90 dollars, I explained it for as a front end only and the man (Scott) started telling me that they did both because my back one was a little off. I told him that it wasnt I only asked for the front, the guy started hugging and puffing and went and asked what they did and they said it only a front end. Scott then started yelled at me in front of everyone saying "next time you better tell me that you need your car done by 12:30" I stated I told the guy over the phone and he said "no, you tell me. Cause we are busy and didnt have time for this today. You need to tell us and no just spring it on us!!"

My Cavalier had an issue and it was recommended to me that I replace an O2 sensor. I buy it myself and took it to Northridge for them to install. It took them about 45 minutes and charged me ~$65. I take my car to work the next day and my Check Engine light comes on. I took it to AutoZone and it was unsurprisingly diagnosed as the O2 sensor not connected properly. I called Northridge and the manager tells me that it couldnt have been their fault, that the light might have come on for some other reason and that they would have to diagnose it themselves (which I know most mechanics charge $80+ for the exact same service I got at AutoZone). I told him I have a printout for the code given to me by AutoZone and he mumbled something about their system not being compatible and they would have to look themselves. Their man didnt connect an O2 sensor right and now they want me to pay $80 -$100 to tell me what I already know. Not going back.

For over 10 years I have had all my vehicles serviced at Northridge Automotive and have had no real issues. They are both professional and friendly in their dealings. Vehicles are usually ready when promised. Brakes, shocks, tires, and tire repair are almost always done right. They even handled a tough job when I had a Taurus with a head gasket leak and they fixed that with no further problems. The only experience that was not the best was when I had an obscure electrical problem on one of my vehicles and they were unable to diagnose it properly (Neither was the Ford Dealership!).

Ive been going to Northridge for over 10 years now. They are always courteous and professional, and I always feel like Im getting a fair price. I havent had to have anything major repaired on my current car (just oil changes, wheel balances, and routine stuff), but with my previous car they always told me up front what was wrong and how much it would cost. Repairs were always done on time and within budget. They even drove me home when the car had to stay overnight. I wont go anywhere else.

Ive had work done on my Jeep a couple of times in the past year at Northridge Auto, and have had oil changes done there too. In fact, Im going later today for an oil change. They are always very courteous and pleasant and the work is done in a reasonable amount of time. The waiting area is comfortable and I usually take a book and just settle in till my Jeep is finished. Im glad to have found a good, reliable, trustworthy place to take my Jeep.

Most expensive oil change/tire rotation ever Went in fully expecting to need new tires I even asked before I left if they were sure my tires were ok After leaving and my car was shaking I stopped at another garage an they showed me the front tire that was totally bald on the outside!! Do not trust this place!!!

Ive had Northridge Automotive work on all of my vehicles. I trust them! I feel they treat me fairly and honestly. I will continue to take my vehicles to them. To be honest, one look at the number of cars in their parking lot, its easy to determine that a lot of people must feel the same way I do.
