Make sure you know the prices on parts when you go in there. If you go in there for something, look up the part from advanced or autozone. I needed a wheel bearing and they took the bearing off and confirmed I needed one and then quoted me over $800 for the part and forty for the labor and told me how good of a deal he was giving me. I told him that was too much and he went on to explain that it was an expensive part and you had to buy the whole assembly. I looked at the part number he was quoting me and it was the exact same one I looked up before I went in there. It was a $140 part. He seemed surprised and then he called auto zone to confirm what I had just told him. He said it was a glitch in their computer. BS. Any mechanic should know that $800 is too much for a bearing. Anyway, after some wheeling and dealing I agreed to have them do the work for $275 but still feel that that was way too much. I would have been better off buying the tools and doing it myself. I understand that these guys need to make a profit and they need to pay for the building and utilities and blah blah blah. But a $650 mark up on a part is gouging. The sad part is that I bet a lot of people go in there everyday and just pay whatever these guys say it costs. Avoid these crooks like the plague.

pretty upset today, took my new car to get an oil change before a family vaca, everything seemed fine. After a day or two i noticed a smell, blew it off figured they must have spilled some oil, but the smell continued. Had my hubbs make an apt to have them ck it over, there was now a hole in my oil pan that wasnt there before i took it! i leave for a 2400 mile round trip in two weeks!!!! So we called around and they could get it in sooner and it needed done asap so now with a week before i leave i go to get it and my bill is $100 more than they told me! and they charged me for 3 hrs labor and my car wasnt even worked on for 3 hrs!!! and to boot they cant do math lol they put a new oil change sticker and put the wrong milage for my next change!!! NEVER AGAIN, IT COST ME $400 (PLUS $75 IN PARTS) FOR A HOLE THEY MADE!!!!! WHAT A RIP OFF! IF YOU IN ANY WAY CAN GO SOME WHERE ELSE THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU TO NO END! NOW I AM SCARED TO DRIVE MY CAR TO FLORIDA!!!!

I used to go there for the $21.99 oil change and tire rotation. Last time I sent my wife. They tried to tell her the lug nuts were cross threaded and quoted her $100 per wheel. I bought new lug nut for $.70ea. As it turns out, none of the nuts were cross threaded. Someone over torqued one wheel causing the a small amount of distortion on 2 nuts and making the thread a little tight. They would have gotten $400 out of her for a $5 repair. The best part is the last time the wheels were off the vehicle was when they rotated the tires. To top it off, the charged her $27 and said they wouldnt rotate the tires.

This place is terrible very rude and over priced they told me 3,380 dollars to fix my car took it to quiet fix muffler in ashtabula cost 480 dollars to fix my car. GARY the manger at monro was so unprofessional it was unreal. I guess me being a women maybe they thought i was stuiped. They pushed trying to get me to apply for a credit card with them. If he did his homework i already had one...... But needless to say i will never go back to this place not even for an oil change i recommend that no one goes to this place better fixing your car yourself...............

Monro is now under new management. The store manager Vinny used to run Sears automotive. I went there for an oil change and it turns out the last place that I got an oil change from (Walmart) stripped and cracked my oil pan. Monro Muffler did not just fix my car, they helped me in the process of making Walmart pay for the damage. Vinny went above and beyond. Being a woman trying to get a car fixed can be a hassle. Especially when most places try to take advantage of you. Not Monro, they truly want to help you and make sure you are driving safe. Thanks again!

I went in to get a quote on tires and was greeted by a man who has no idea whats he is doing, then his boss came to "help". What an @$$h0le!!!!!!!!!! Then tells his underling to mark up the price on tires theyd order in 80%. I then asked if they could get me in for an alignment and the guy said they were swamped. There was one car in the shop and an empty parking lot. Horrible place. I wouldnt go back even for the free flat repair.

after my visit there for an oil change and bought new tires, my flex pipe was said needing to be repaired. I went to another service department to fix the flex pipe. Cost over $1,200.00. Someone had cut the sleeve joining the flex pipe to the converter. The last one who saw under my car was this company. I cant prove they did it, but I will never go back there or recommend it to anyone either. I was RIPPED OFF.

Please go anywhere but here. You could go to a dealership and get better prices to repair your car. Got charged $1,100 dollars for a synthetic oil change and new brake pads and rotors and even then the brakes werent tight. To pay 1100 dollars I should have been able to stop on a dime. Ill never refer anyone to go here nor will I ever come here again.

Horrible! was told it would cost me $50 to have this part pressed in for me 1 day later my wife went in and Bald head Phil that works there told her $100!!! I asked why the difference he said cause he aint the boss so its a $100 so I asked if pricing depends on who you talk to there and he said yes pretty frickin shady!!

I have gone here a few times and each time was a pleasant experience. I got work done on my car at a good price and they saw a minor problem that had nothing to do with what I came in for and fixed it for free. Thanks Monro..

They do not stand by their work and push you to replace parts that do not need replaced.would not even rate them a one star but it will not put the post up without hitting a star
