Salem is the worst person I have ever met. I walked in with the intention of asking about rates. When I opened the door, no one was at the front desk. Older women were selling their wares of cheap clothing and jewelry in an already tiny gym. I stood around for several minutes looking for someone who worked there, and Salem walked up to me, chastising me for looking at some documents on the front desk which were plain for everyone to see. I apologized, I was being nosy, but NO ONE was at the front desk, or even near by. I was looking for a paper listing different plans, thats all, since specials and rates werent shown anywhere in the gym. First bad sign. Theres about 10 weight machines, just as many treadmills and about 5 stairmasters. When I asked Salem about why there were women selling things there, she became nasty and rude, asking me if the sole purpose of my visit was to criticize how things were done in her gym and waste her time. I was pretty taken aback. She asked me to sign in, but didnt explain why. She then proceeded to look up my name, and names of my family members and told me an old account my mother opened was in collection. Umm, ok? Thats my mother, not me. Im a just college student trying to join a gym to get into shape, not a criminal or con artist, but thats exactly how she made me feel. After talking to her for a few minutes, I wanted to get out running. She has terrible customer service skills, no wonder the gym on Sunset Drive and 147 AVE closed down. I asked her for the price per month without a contract, and its $35/mo. $35 for a run-down, tiny gym with only a handful of weight machines and elderly women in the corner selling things as if it was a flea market? No thanks. Ill go anywhere else, but I. Will. NEVER. Give. A. Penny. To. Salem. When she told me the rate, I said "Thank you for your time," and walked out. She had the nerve to walk out of the gym and stare me down as I walked to my car and drive away. She is disgusting. I hope I never see this woman again in my life.

They make you sign a contract with lies, they tell you that you will only be charged for the months that you have applied and they never tell you that in one of the months you will be charge +25 dollars because of fees so i had to pay 50 dollars in one on my months. Also if you are making a contract with them PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU SIGN TO NOT RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP AUTOMATICALLY!! because if you dont they will charge you two extra months because you have to send a letter saying you want to cancel there are way better gyms than this trust me and another tip on the spinning classes you better be there early because then you will not have a bicycle to do the exercise plus they overfill their classes. When I wanted to do spinning there was a class before that and people from that class had the chance to sign in an hour earlier to get a bicycle so the people that only went for the spinning class were actually like two or three people that sometimes had no bicycle because the other people had the chance to sign in earlier, so what I had to do was to go an hour earlier sign in to get a bicycle and then return home and come back to make sure I had a bicycle to do the exercise. I was anxiously waiting for my expiration date and now they are telling me that memberships renew automatically and because i did not say anything ( and how was I suppose to say something if they never told me!) now I have to send a letter saying I want a cancellation and they will be charging me an extra two months because it takes 30 days to process which doesnt make sense Also customer service is horrible to take your money they are sweet hearts but when it comes to problems and asking them for help they dont care and they tell you that that is not their job and they tell you to call a number because that is not their problem they make a lot of excuses. The teachers for spinning classes are very nice and awesome specially salam but the rest is just a nightmare it is not worth it

Estoy muy arrepentida de a ver escogido este gym para mi entrenamiento. Presente un certificado de un problema de salud por neuroma en la pierna para que me anularan el contrato ya que no podia asistir por largo tiempo, y la respuesta que me dieron ellos por email fue que no era razon para cancelar la membresia ya que ellos tenian equipos y personal para este problema. Siento que no respetaron mi problema de salud, y veo injusto que me sigan cobrando hace mas de 6meses sin yo poder asistir. No se lo recomiendo a nadie!

The management is BEYOND rude. They have no idea how to treat their potential customers, nor their existing customers. If you have any questions, they refuse to answer it without you signing a contact first. The manager/owner of that gym is one of the most unintelligent, rude, incomprehensibly, poor excuse of a manager I have ever seen, as a matter of fact she even refused to give me her name, stating that her name was Lady of America when I wanted to know her name after the fact that she had treated me DISGUSTINGLY. I recommend that if you have any other choice BUT this gym to go there. I have never seen such poor customer service in a gym before. I am NEVER recommending this place for absolutely anybody.

I signed up for a one-year contract 2 years ago. After six months my availability changed to use the gym but I knew I would be on the hook for a full year. However, after a year passed they auto-renewed my account and charged me a $139 annual fee. I called to have the money returned to me and was told it was impossible. What possible motive is there to charge me for something they know I havent used? Furthermore, the billing service they use can get access to your credit card information even when you change your credit card number. Beware, I signed a 1 year contract and they have taken over a year worth of fees from me.

Lady of America is the worst gym in Miami, they lie all the time, they closed the one that I was going to, and They didnt have the curtesy to let their customer know, when I call the new location that they assigned me without asking, the lady was super rude and unprofessional, Lady of America does not have even 1-800 number. (which means they do not have customer service.)

Ive been a member for more then 2 years! And as soon as I signed up i became a part of a family! The owner Salam welcomed me with open arms! and became a friend. She takes time off from running her Gym and shows me what machines are good for me. All the classes they teach are amazing! love all the employees. I am a member for life. I am very happy and i love it!

Dont sign a contract there please they are fraudulent I signed for one year i made 14 pays and now they want charge me two months more. And they renew your contract without your approval. Son ladrones. No firmes nada
