I used to work there. Things were bad then, and theyve gotten much worse since. At least they got rid of that arrogant clerk that had to go through the entire suggestive selling spiel, demand to see my ID card to collect a package despite the fact I used to work there, and conduct every transaction step-by-step according to the book. Thats why the lines are so long - it takes 15 minutes to do something that should take two. Pay attention and listen to all the back-and-forth BS that goes on between the clerk and the customer, and youll understand why the lines are so long. Some of the clerks are decent and efficient, but not enough of them. Oh, and the automated stations are usually down. Mail delivery has also deteriorated. What they do when an area grows is have a bunch of part-timers carry the mail to cover the new areas, calling them auxiliary routes, which is cheaper than creating a new permanent route and paying a full-time carrier. It stretches the full and part-time carrier staffs thin. Thats nation-wide. Youd think it would be easy to get people to carry mail, but the quality of help sucks because good help gets tired of managements crap and walks. When my home was serviced by a full-time regular carrier, I used to get tons of mail. Now there are days I dont get anything, especially Saturdays. This means theyre cutting (not delivering) a bunch of your magazines, catalogs, and other junk mail (the last one they can trash as far as Im concerned, but they cant). Back when I worked there we hardly ever cut mail. They used to have lots of good full-time mail carriers, but most of them are gone now. If youd spend any time in that place as an employee, youd wonder how anything ever got delivered.

I sent a large box of antique bottles to a family member in Colorado, costing me almost $50.00, and had them wrapped in bubble wrap, and secured and safe. I made sure that they knew there were very fragile pieces in that box, and they marked it fragile with their stamp like seven times on the box. The price I paid included $50.00 insurance. I trusted them, to get the package there safe and sound. I received pictures of the box and contents when it arrived at its destination... I was shocked...the box had two huge holes in it, and inside it was a mess of busted glass!!! Something of force punctured that box hard enough to do some serious damage!!! Heres what I was told by a male member of management, in the Navarre office....The price I paid would not be refunded because the box did reach its destination...the fragile stamp does not mean ANYTHING once it arrives at a processing center...blamed me for not putting more insurance on the items...and told me I needed to go online to file a claim!!! Arrogant and rude!!! No compassion!!! Like it was all MY fault!!! And, when I did go online, and signed up, tried to file a claim, it kept saying it didnt recognize my user name and password!!! They have no problem taking your money!!! If they are at fault for any reason, they will always find a way to make the bulk of the blame on you!!! And the rudeness and lack of customer service is unreal !!!

This is the worst post office I have ever had to be involved with and Im from a very large city, in which does ten times the mail flow they do. My mail comes after 7 and night, the post guy throws my packages at my door. Ive called there twice and told them its ridiculous and she tells me that Im basically lying. During christmas my packages were four days late, I saw on the shipping they were delivered to the post office and werent delivered over three days later and I had to go to the post office to go get them? She said half were out for delivery and gave me the rest, when they posted the address was wrong and they were going back to the store? She handed me all those ones, but again only half were on route? Why are only HALF my packages going out for delivery? The wait times are ridiculous too, there will be 1-2 post people helping the line out the door when theres like 5+ employees walking around doing stuff, they cant open another register and get the line down and then go back to what they were doing?

This post office seems highly unorganized. I have been waiting on a package since 11/30 & it is now 12/14. It was a 2 day priority mailed package. I received the notification today at 8:30pm that my package was delivered at 7:57pm. I walked to my front porch excited to finally receive it and it was not there. I went to my neighbors house who has a similar address to ours and she didnt have it either. So now my $250 Christmas package is just out there somewhere. Really frustrating since it was 2 day shipping and the icing on the cake is that it was delivered to the wrong address. Ive had 3 other occasions where I have received other packages and about 10 incidences that I have received mail with the wrong name and wrong address. I also am annoyed that mail is being delivered at 8pm at night.

Simply more of the same! We love in the Whispering Pines Estates area, mail is constantly being delivered to the wrong mailbox. Or better yet at 7 to 8pm at night. Some days, like yesterday 8/10/16 no mail was ever delivered. Had outgoing mail, ( as did my two neighbors) in the boxes with flag up by I:30 am. Still sitting there the next day. Shoot, with our so called carrier, we know when something is going on at the school. She leaves her route to attend it or to pick her kid up. She has told this to our neighbor! Navarre Post Office is a complete JOKE. If a business was run like this it would be broke in six months....oh wait, they are broke and sucking our tax dollars down every quarter. Our carrier is a joke as is the so called postmaster at the Navarre Post Office.

If it was possible to leave no stars, that would be the selection I would have made. Since moving to Navarre, every single piece of mail weve been expecting has not been delivered! They will lie and update tracking requests saying packages have been placed in our mailbox and its empty. They werent even in our neighborhood at the time they said the delivery was made. They need to hire people who do what they are paid to, deliver mail! I never thought when relocating to another area Id have to check reviews for the post office before determining if Id live there. My experience with the post office makes me regret purchasing a home in Navarre.

My mail was delivered to the wrong address it wasnt even in the same neighborhood. Twice now our mail wasnt delivered because the mail box was "blocked". My roommate has a trailer for work parked out front soooooo instead of the mail person getting out of the truck and walking four feet to put the mail in the mail box they take it all the way back to the post office and wait to deliver it the next day. Really?! What ever happened to not even rain or snow will stop your mail from being delivered? God its infuriating to think that these lazy people get paid by our tax dollars and they dont even do their job. Sad.
