Although most post offices are dreadful to enter this one has been the worst. Ill never understand why the city hires such miserable a**holes! I dont know how they get through the interview. I was here for an hour last week trying to ship packages internationally. After waiting in line forever (they take their time) the employee (pretty sure her name is cochantha prob spelled wrong) told me I would have to fill out a customs form. She handed me the form and didnt explain it and told me to step to the side and do it. Then the line filled up again and she made me wait all over again. I wait patiently and she tells me my box needs tape. Keep in mind Ive watched each employee tape up things for customers. She told me I would have to buy a roll of tape from the office!!!!! Ive never had to do this! The whole experience was terrible. I will never use this post office again. Actually I think Ill just go with ups for now on.

I want someone to please explain to me the following: Brought a 9 pound package to Hermitage Post Office on the 26th of September From Hermitage TN going to Franklin, KY I paid $6.29 for this package to be delivered According to USPS Tracking this Package has traveled 1,286.89 MILES. From Hermitage Post Office to Ship to Address it is only 48 miles away, round trip none stop is 83.78 miles. This Package has been in Hermitage, TN, Jacksonville, FL, back to Memphis, TN and it still has not arrived to Franklin, KY to date. I paid $6.29 to send a 9 pound package that still has not made its final destination. Please explain the logic behind this? Thank you! Concern Customer

Worst post office ever!!!!!! Weve been in our house for almost a year. They have lost 3 articles of mail (that were aware of). They are no help in finding your mail even after youve paid extra for overnight and tracking. Were still getting other peoples mail. The manager is of no use. He doesnt know anything or how to resolve anything. This place is the worst! I wish we could have our mail rerouted to another post office. Id even pay to have it rerouted. I actually have to miss work today because I have to go up there; they havent delivered something I ordered offline, that I was supposed to get 3 days ago. Worst post office ever!!!!!!! I wish I could give them ZERO stars!

The staff tried to trick me to pay for second postage even after I brought in a pre-paid priority mail box. It was so ridiculous!!! He ripped off my mailing label and took my contents out and put in a new box and said I need to purchase the box. Haha..did I look that stupid or not? I left this office and went to the main one at Donelson Pike and dropped it off. If I hesitated for one second I would have been paying $15 for the box which I only paid for $7.89 online.

They never answer the phone for one thing. I was expecting a paycard in th email never got it they said it was scanned and delivered at 11:15 and assumed that sumbody could have taken it !!!! like the lady really said sumbody stole my mail then tried to threaten to stop delivery because of my mailbox wouldnt close. They talk enough BS and should definently be shut down or rehire a whole new staff cuz the people that are there now are full of s%$#

Others may have had issues, but Ive noticed (especially over the last year or so) that they have been cranking the packages out. Delivery dates are updated and end up being delivered earlier than the originally scheduled date. There have been multiple packages that have been delivered early. They come in to the hermitage location and are sorted and put on the truck for delivery within an hour or arriving. Keep up the good work.

When we first moved here it took 3 month to get my engagement photos from my photographer because they kept sending them back to him. They are ridiculously slow on delivering mail. They returned a package I sent to my sister. Today I got a message from a client saying that the photo CD she received in the mail was broken. You have to be really harsh with a CD to break it in the mail! FedEx you have all my business.

I came into the post office on 9/19/17 at 3:30p The clerk Monica who says shes the lead clerk did not answer my questions and got rude in front of customers. She started making fun of the direct questions of a certain hold I had on my mail. I wish I had a number to make a formal complaint. I have very expensive items Im expecting. Im glad I dont have to deal with this post office anymore. Anyone have a number?

This place really sucks and like the prev comment said, if they were a private business they wouldve been shut down. I filled out a change of address 3 weeks prior to receiving a package and they still delivered my package to my old address. It took almost 2 weeks to get my package from the new people who live in my old house. The only solution the post office could offer was to fill out a dispute.

Why does the post person have such a hard time closing my mailbox. Apparently the door is supposed to stay closed when it is flipped as the post person drives away. It only takes a second to make sure it closes, but that seems to be too difficult. I have gone into the office and was informed it was my container. No, it is the laziness of the the deliverer.

They claim my package was delivered at 9:15 pm on a Friday night in my mailbox, I have yet to see this package and the Saturday mail has come and still no package. This is not the first time. I get no customer service and no one knows anything.This is why I get everything paperless. I wish I could just cancel the the Hermitage usps altogether they are trash

Ive lived in 6 states an over a dozen cities. Ive never seen such terrible service from a post office. I cant order anything online because they deliver my packages elsewhere. SO FRUSTRATING. The guy that gave them 5 stars is clearly an anomaly. Ive called and they admitted delivering it to the wrong place repeatedly and wont to anything about it.

By far the worst post office branch in the Nashville area. They NEVER answer the phones. the counter agents will sit there and joke while they have a line of people then just walk away. the drivers make no attempt to actually deliver things like certified mail, they just leave a notice in the box without even coming to the house.

I agree with most of these reviews! They cant get it together, and they DO NOT answer the phone!!! I have a business in Hermitage and they mail carrier will not pick up my mail if he doesnt have a delivery for my office. I have never seen anything like this!

I have money that was on gift cards never showed up. And Ive the post office and been hung up on 3 times. So I called the main USPS company and made a claim against them.

Packages only are put in a locker when its been there for a week ot more. Why? Some of us work Monday thru Friday from 8-5...and I never make it there in time on Saturday.
