I called in at 5:09pm to ask if it was too late to drop off a small prepaid package. The reply was an irritated "Yeah"... In my experience it is better to say something more polite such as: "No, Im sorry Sir, we are no longer accepting packages today." It seems that it does not make a difference in the employees career if they go the extra mile or not.
