This shop is a decent choice if you have a fairly common/generic problem with your modern vehicle. For example, a faulty A/C, alignment problems, headlight out, need new plugs/wires, etc. However, a brief look at the age of the mechanics should tell you right away that if you own a classic car (carbureted, performance-oriented, pre-1990s) or are having major engine/transmission issues, you may want to steer clear of Artic Air. The mechanics here are decent at what they do, which is parts-changing. Your vehicle is going to be hooked up to a diagnostics tool, they will identify the faulty part, give you an estimate, and replace it. Problem is, just because a scan tool throws an oxygen sensor code (for example) doesnt mean you need a new oxygen sensor. Something else could be causing the engine to run rich, and the sensor is only doing its job by indicating this. So, to use the term "full service auto repair" in their description is a bit of a stretch. I spent nearly $2,000 dollars here and never heard a word about their "warranty" on parts and labor. Also, they quoted me $1,365 for an A/C compressor replacement job. For that kind of money, youre better off at least buying the parts yourself or shopping around for a better deal.

Complete Ripoff. I brought 2 calipers and brake lines to put on my car and they told me they would only charge me labor. Knowing that the Ford Dealer charges $105 an hour I figured the charge would be about the same. The job took exactly one hour to do. The bill was $171 in labor charge. I was never informed of the amount of the labor cost but knew they could not charge more than a dealer but alas they are a total ripoff. I used to like this place but now I DON"T TRUST THEM. I sent a friend here and his estimate for repair for his AC was OUTRAGEOUSLY high compared to what a general mechanic fixed it for at another garage. BUYER BEWARE. I also dont like how they were offering discounts on repairs if the person would like them on Facebook. I call that FB likes extortion because a reputable business would not need to bribe customers this way to get likes on Facebook.

Arctic Auto And Air Service provided an itemized statement. He told me what each item cost and labor cost. He informed me of the waiting time. Offered me something to drink. The cost was $438. My ac condenser needed replaced in my car. WOW! That was a great price. I originally went to the dealer for the repair but they wanted $927. I went into a state of shock! They also charged me $143 to diagnose the problem, but i got a car wash! I thought I was just going to roast but I called ARCTIC AUTO AIR and Car Service. GREAT service, great family owned business. My car now has a family doctor. You can tell I am very, very pleased with their service. If you want to make America Great again, we need to support our small family owned businesses. Start today. I HIGHLY recommend Arctic Auto Air for anyone who has A/C issues. Since FL requires auto A/C about 98% of the year, there is no one I will bring my vehicles to other than Brian and his crew. He is honest and a straight shooter who believes in long-term customer relationships instead of trying to squeeze as much money from every job. Brian and his crew really are the best of the best. These guys saved me over $550 on parts by figuring a way to get me back on the road and COLD again by working around a part replacement. Very impressed with service. Took my car in, they charged a/c and told me if that didnt work and repair needed to be made, he would deduct what I paid for the recharge off of repair bill. Ended up taking car in several months late for a/c repair, and true to his word, he deducted the recharge bill.
