I rented a storage last month on 08/11/17, at that time was told I had 30 days to get my stuff or pay the fee. No problem with those terms, I moved everything except two things on 08/22/17. I planned to get them out on Friday 09/09/17, then Hurricane Irma. I evacuated like everyone else, even Public Storage. I received a email on Thursday that they was closing for the safety of there employees. Ok no problem due to me leaving to save my life as well. Being this is the first Hurricane I ever been in. I returned on Wednesday 09/13, I called on Tuesday and spoke with Kelly. Explained that I would get my last two pieces out in the morning when I return. All she said was OK. I go on Wednesday 09/13 as promised, I did not see no one on the property. I called once I got the last two things out, spoke with Kelly again. I told her that I got my last two pieces out. Her response was did you come last night? I said no I was just there a couple of minutes ago. She said ok, I will go and walk the unit and close out the account. She calls me back and tell me that there is a balance on the account. I said you don’t take into consideration the Hurricane? She said no we don’t take that into consideration. She say will you be stopping by to make payment. I told her no I will not where is the man when I signed up for the storage. She said he is off today. I said he told me I had 30 days, was not my fault the hurricane came. They own employees was not at work and the facility was closed. But I was just suppose to not leave town for my own safety when they employees was able to. Kelly thens go on to tell me that the account will not go into collections and they will call and harass me everyday. I told her I am not paying them a penny and to have a nice day. NEVER EVER AGAIN! Anybody know who the district manager is?

I chose to give this location 5 stars. As a fellow business owner I know how important customer reviews are to a business. Ive been doing business with this location for a little over a month now my way of giving reviews to a business would be to give myself enough time to experience all the business has to offer with that being said in December of 2016 made online reservation for a storage unit at this facility I was then called right after my booking was arrange to confirm my reservation then I arrived at the location where I meant Eddy who I must say was very knowledgeable and informative about the property and the business he was able to give me a tour and help me better understand the ground rules and regulations of the storage facility which I found very helpful. I have been visiting the location numerous of times and was very amazed and happy to see how the maintenance of this facility is kept. At my initial point of bookingmy unit I arrived not knowing what materials I could have needed to store my valuables, having Eddy with the knowledge of the business assist me and informing me of materials that they do have for sale on the retail display he even helped me get a better understanding of the insurances that they offer. I definitely would recommend this location to family and friends and I give five stars to the services of the employee Eddy and I would also recommend that you give them employee of the month. This is my 30 day review.

My husband and I just rented a unit here. Weve been renting at Public Storage for a decade. What has happened to us here we never experienced at any other location. My husband went in and filled out the paperwork, he was asked if he wanted the account on autopay, he said NO, however, we were still enrolled in autopay and when I went to register online to pay the bill I check my checking account to see if I wanted to send the payment through my bank or pay it in cash. Surprise, surprise, there was an automatic withdrawal from Public Storage on my bank account. I asked my husband did you enrolled us in autopay with Public Storage he said no, I know I definitely said no when she asked. So I went to check the papers he had signed, but to my surprise he was given blank papers not a copy of the papers he had signed. This is not in any way a professional way to handle business with a customer that is entrusting their belongings to the care of this place. Im now concerned that my belongings are not safe here and these people would do anything they want without my authorization. This is a bad way to start a relationship with us. This location does not seem to have the integrity of the staff at other locations that we have experienced. So please if you are going to store here review your paper work before you leave the premises and log into your account on line as soon as possible to view if it has been placed on auto pay.

ROACHES!!! We rented a unit for 6 months, when we opened up our storage unit we realized that there were roaches everywhere!! especially in the back of the unit. We had to throw away all our mattresses and our sofa for fear that our toddlers would get sick due to roach feces and urine. Upon contacting the property manager regarding this, his simple response was: "you probably had food" really??? no! We would not put food in a storage unit with no AC. Apart from that we cleaned absolutely everything with bleach before putting it in the storage in order to prevent things like that. Every storage unit we have rented have pest control - apparently that was not the case there and we have never have we had a roach problem. We also wanted to end our service and I called customer service which gave us the information that we had until 9:00 P.M. to get everything out, well the property manager had a different information and charged us almost 20.00 dollars because we would be out after 6:00 P.M which was when the office closed. Never will be using this location again, and probably public storage for my storage needs.

"I went with them ultimately but, I still feel its too expensive monthly." - My initial review comment along with 3-star rating. I have changed it because the facility contacted me and asked me to change my review and requested a 5-star rating. I thought the request was a bit pushy but, i eagerly agreed to do as they asked once the (very nice and hard working) clerk told me that a district manager would be in touch with me to offer lower monthly rate as incentive. Paying well over $200/month, I was happy at the possibility! I never received that call. I inquired in person twice about it and was told both times the district manager "attempted to call with no answer"...I informed clerk that I had not received any such calls or any voicemails with further instructions or contact info. Also, my request for the managers contact number was denied. It basically felt like a "you missed your chance" situation. It was clear that no additional attempts were going to be made and I was to be content with matters as they were and, I was still expected to change my initial rating to 5-stars!
