We have had a storage there for two weeks now. On the very first day we went to get our storage, Dale put insurance on it that we didnt ask for. He then tried to say that we did ask for it, when my husband and I didnt discuss getting insurance at all. We only asked if there were any break ins ever and if there was a need for it. There are three packages to choose from and he tacked on the least expensive one. Then he also added a lock, around $16-$18 and we were going to need one anyway, so we kept that expense. I caught this "mistake" when he gave me the insurance paperwork to sign. I asked him why it was on there and he said he thought I wanted it. He then said he couldnt refund the money to me, because he already charged me. I had him call his manager and they ended up getting me a check cut for that cost. That was 6pm and they close at 6pm. The next day we packed some of our house up and went to bring it to the unit. The units were closed off because they were paving the area. We were never made aware of this the night before, when we purchased the unit. My husband got over there with the full truck and it was restricted from use. He came back very upset, because the truck was due back the next day. We called the storage place and they ended up opening it back up for us at 6pm. We unfortunately didnt get the call because we were outside unloading the truck. Then I called on Friday to check the status of my refund check and Dale answered. Before I could even finish my sentence about the refund check he says in a loud and angry voice, "YOU DID ASK FOR INSURANCE!" I was calling to see about my refund status, not to get harassed and scolded for something I didnt even ask for. He said he couldnt tell me because all of the computers were down and that he would call me back later. I called the 800 number and they told me the information quickly. Dale did end up calling and telling me the refund check status. Then today we went to put more things in the unit and it is closed for painting. Once again we were not made aware of this by email, phone or anything else. I think they need to put an all call out to their customers if they are going to lock you out of your storage area for a day or two. They could also send a courtesy email. Unfortunately, my experience has been less than pleasant. Hopefully yours will be better. What I can say to Dales benefit, is that he did stay after 6pm to get us a unit and they closed at 6pm that day. Although he told us he gets paid by the hour, we did appreciate his willingness to stay a bit later to finish our new contract. One more thing, boxes are double the price there. If you go to Home Depot, you can get the HUGE moving boxes for less than $2.00. So, unless you are desperate, I would keep your cash and by those elsewhere. The best thing about this storage is that it is right next to our current home.

When I rented my unit, it was dirty. The associate stated he would have it cleaned out before I returned with my belongings. About 5 hours later, when I returned, the unit still had not been swept out. The office was about 15 minutes from closing and the guy did not want to let me use the broom to do his job. Fast forward about 7 months later. A couple weeks after 33 units were broken into an vandalized, I get a postcard in the mail stating my rate would be raised from $54 a month to $91 a month and no further explanation. The local representatives were not able to help me, but provided me with a toll free number. The CSR that I spoke with when I called stated it was an "Executive Decision", rates were raised across the country and there was nothing they could do. A 41% increase is ridiculous. No, this is not a payment issue, I was a direct pay customer. They charged my account and never had to worry about my making a payment. There is nothing that sets them apart and you certainly arent paying for security. I have vacated my unit and will not recommend this company to any of my friends or neighbors. Even if youhave to drive a little further down the road, I would recommend you loo king for another option.

I saw the price on the internet and called. Customer Service suggested a different size unit for a really good price! What great service! I went to the storage location expecting to get the run-around about the price. But to my surprise, the price remained the same as I was quoted! I was elated!!! The facilities are very clean and well maintained. I feel the contents of my storage unit are very safe with the security offered. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also like the convenience of the ability to purchase any boxes or packing materials I might need right there in the office. I couldnt be any happier and I will be telling my friends looking for storage to contact this Public Storage location. Because it is the BEST!!!

Melissa and Mo are the best! They helped me with everything I had questions about, which was pretty much everything since Ive never had a storage unit before, and they were very patient, thorough, fast and efficient. Although they offered the upsales, they did not force unwanted charges on me. Excluding the rental insurance, which I did not know about and is required, I didnt have to pay any other charges I didnt know about, and I got a very good deal by booking it online. The whole process was made super easy for me, and I was shown how to do everything and where everything was. Im very pleased with the service I received here, and feel that the prices are fair, the units are nice, and the staff is amazing.

After I retired and now living on a fixed income, I shopped around for a storage unit to accommodate my needs for my stuff from NY. I found a Public Storage very near to me at 2110 NE 36th Ave. Went on line and saved, with just $1 for the first month and an additional 15% for the Unit. The Staff there, Malissa and Marie helped me get squared away quickly, they were very professional, and were very patient with me, as I was a little stressed out with all the moving and settling in here in Florida. Unit was clean and ready to go. I highly recommend this Public Storage Location. They lived up to their 5 Star rating... Thank you guys and dolls.

Dale was the very knowledgable gentleman who made our move a little easier. We had a long transition period between moving from one state to another and another transition period from a sold home to temporary stay to our new residence. This was not an easy task for us but Dale helped to make it work smoothly. We appreciate his calm manner and his helpful knowledge. He was very professional and explained everything to us in an easy to follow way. He checked on our progress and was always available to answer our questions.
