RAT Problems plague this storage location I found my storage unit complete ravaged by rodents. Every item I owned was ruined with rat poop and urine. Many things were also chewed up. When I first approached management, I was directed towards the insurance company they recommend you purchase when signing up. I was quickly notified by the insurance company, Badar, that my coverage did not include rat damage. Unfortunately, I had to get in contact with WFTV news in order to get compass storage to convince the insurance company to cover my damages. As you can see with the previous review, this issue has been long standing and multiple units are being destroyed. The neighboring unit was also moving out at the same time with extensive damages. I wouldn’t recommend leaving your stuff at this unit until they can have enough time to clean the place up and rid the rodent infestation they are dealing with. Literally sold the last cheap available unit from under me. It was half an hour before they closed and Stephanie told me she wasnt able to reserve the unit I wanted because it was the last one, and told me to go there the next morning. Because I didnt want to lose my unit (and pay more) I went there that evening anyways, only to find that the unit I wanted was being sold, over the phone. But since compass had the only available units still, I still went through and bought a more expensive unit from them, much larger than I needed. Had some issues with my code working. The guy (sorry, I forget his name) was very apologetic for the issues with my code though.

Great Service.....I will like to thank the General Managers of the Compass Self Storage on East Colonial, while I was experiencing a life crisis they were there for me and help me with a complicated relocation, thank you for making my move easy....I would also like to thank you for what you do in our community, I first met Morgan at the Leukemia Walk......I would recommend your services anytime!!

Bait and Switch! Nice place, clean and safe. The only problem I have is that they keep raising their prices; twice in a year. Its not just me. My parents have one unit too and their rate has also increased twice in a year. They start with a low "special rate" and after you move in they send you a letter explaining that they cannot do business at the current rate and its increasing.

Contracted twice with this location. Both times Don and Stephanie were very helpful and accommodating. They are friendly, courteous and provided outstanding customer service. The outside area is clean and is spacious for easily getting in and out with a trailer. I trust my merchandise in their storage and would definitely contract with them again. My husband and I both thank you!

The most unhelpful service possible. Never, Ever, rent a Uhaul from here. They dont know how to do anything but charge you. If you have a problem with a truck they cant even look up your account. Then they double charge you and claim you should have called them to explain the situation. Even though when you DID call and they just said they dont know anything and cannot help you.

Customer service was great. Very polite and extremely helpful. Compass also works with UHaul so moving out of my UCF dorm was quick and easy. Their month to month leases are perfect for students like myself who need a place to store stuff on school breaks! Overall, Id recommend Compass to anyone, especially college students!!

Well, we still continue to have a pleasant experience at this store. The manager is extremely friendly and helped me find the right size and supplies that suited my belongings. The facility is always clean when we go there and we have never had any issues. We highly recommend using them!

They open at 9:30 it is 10 after 10 I have been waiting here since 8:30 for them to open... Several customers plus the UPS guy have came and left upset. Me as well

Compass is a great clean storage facility. The 24 hour access allows me to use the facility at my convenience. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
