When my wifes Dodge turned 126,000 miles, I decided it was time to have our original factory brakes serviced. (According to the recommended maintenance schedule, this was due at 120,000 miles). I chose Just Brakes because they are a national brand that claims honest service. I sent my wife to drop the vehicle and met her for breakfast around the corner. When we walked back to the shop, the mechanics had our vehicle in the air, wheels and brakes off and cleaned. Great service, so far! It wasnt until the manager approached me with a recommended service estimate for nearly $900 that I changed my mind about this shop. I had told him the right rear was squealing a bit, so when he took me to the left wheel to explain the problem, showing me a "bad" brake cylinder as the culprit, I knew he was not being honest. This manager didnt know that I am a mechanic and had brought the vehicle to him simply because I didnt have the time to service the brakes myself. The brake cylinder he showed me was fine. And one bad brake cylinder certainly did not justify the replacement of all four cylinders and the $900 price tag. Needless to say, the whole customer service experience went downhill from this point. I regret having chose this company and this location for my brake service. Next time I dont have time to do my own vehicle repair, Im going with the local shops that have been in business for decades, not a national chain of sub-par repair shops. -Cognitively Dissonant Consumer

took my car to just Brakes because it was right in my neighborhood off Semeron. My brakes were stating to make a slight squeeking noise whenever I stepped on them. I always keep my cars in good repair and thought I probably needed new pads. After their inspection I was told That along with a brake job I also needed rotors so I told them to do the work . As I began driving the car I noticed a slight shaking in the wheel . I thought maybe because my tires were rotated , it would smooth out plus the squeeking noise was gone. after a few weeks the shaking in the wheels got worse and worse. I was on the road and out of town so I didnt get a chance to bring the car back to them right away. But I had my wheels inspected at pepboys and was informed that one of the rotors was warped. By now the car shakes badly when I press the brakes. Finally took the car back to Just brakes and was told that there was no guarantee for rotor work done and if I wanted new rotor work done they would have to charge me again. Again for the same Job ? I asked to speak to the manager or to the guys who did the original repair work and was told "none of those guys work here anymore". These people are cheaters and dont stand behind their work . I will not recommend this shop to anyone and be warned that you take your chances when taking your vehicle there for service.

HORRIBLE! Absolutely terrible, Vegas is the guys name I spoke to. I believe he is either the owner or shop manager. The place is a joke. I went in for a simple brakes replacement which I could do myself but simply didnt have the time. After hearing the price I laughed, laughed in their face. That turned out to be a bad very bad mistake. Apparently they took it personal because when they put the lug nuts back on the tires they put them on at atleast 700 pounds of pressure. Turned it up to the max screwed them back in. Turns out I couldnt even get them off without stripping every last one. With replacing the pads, rotars, calipers and lug nuts I still paid $600 LESS than what they were going to charge. This is not right and will be reported to the Better Business Bureau. These kind of people should not be allowed to operate. $800 was the price that was given to me. Are you kidding me $800 for a simple brake repair wow, they must be using 24k gold parts. Absolute joke. Pathetic service. Do not go here, even if you need an oil change just read the reviews which I sadly failed to do before going in. Save yourself the trouble and go to any of the other places in Orlando or hell its worth driving to another damn city to get a repair before going here.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I called to make sure that their $99 brake job (from their commercials) was in effect and was told that it was. Dropped off my car and told them no more than $150 for the total repair bill, got a call later with an estimate of $540 for little things like headlight cleaning. Told them no and later went to pick up my car. They told me they wouldnt machine my drums because they were under specs but wouldnt prove it, despite that being part of the deal, charged me $170 (including a $12 shop supply fee and $125 in labor, despite not have to do half the work since they wouldnt replace the drums) and then I saw that they forged my signature on some quote they supposedly gave me stating my car needed $2,400 worth of work. When I contacted the district manager he was confrontational and refused to even apologize for the poor experience. When I brought the forged signature while we were going over my bill, he said he couldnt "access that page." This place has left a horrible impression on me and I will never use there services again.

I should have read the other reviews before the FIRST time I went there. I needed new pads, $650 and 8 hours later I get my truck back, and the brakes still squeak one year later, were talking a REALLY bad and embarrassing squeak on both front wheels. Funny thing is, I never had squeaky brakes before. Also, because they wanted to sell me on the job, they gave me a student discount of 10%. But when I call up a year later to ask for some additional service, and to get my girlfriends car done, Mark (shop manager) tells me they dont give student discounts and tries to charge me $250 for a part that costs around a $100 at Autozone. Also, they would not give an sort of brake (no pun) for having two vehicles serviced. When I told Mark that he gave student discounts in the past, you should have heard him try to talk his way out of that one. CON ARTISTS!!! I called Midas and was quoted the same work for half the price. I see a class-action lawsuit coming their way very soon, giving the amount of horrible experiences with this company...simply mind-blowing!

My brakes had been inspected by a dealership before I finally went to Just Brakes and the other guys said that only the rotors needed shaving. They also said that I wasnt in any danger and had time to get work done on them. So, I drove around through the summer and in September, I suddenly heard this grinding sound that scared me. I went right to Just Brakes on Semoran, and the manager and his technician showed me that my pads had been ground down to the metal, and that the particular problems the brake system had was extensive. Needless to say, Just Brakes totally took care of my car and taught me a lot about my brake system so that I could understand what can go wrong if some things arent maintained properly. I feel safe and happy with my ride... its smooth and quiet and I know they will always be there to help me when I need. Thanks JUST BRAKES! Maria Styles Happy Customer
