I recently purchased a new set of tires from Evans Automotive and I have to say, these guys get everything right. From start to finish - I was in and back out in under an hour. The owner personally inspected my vehicle after it was completed and gave it the OK. I asked him to inspect the brakes to see how the wear was since my vehicle was going on 30,000 miles - he said they looked almost new and that nothing was needed in that respect. He could have said I needed brakes - I would not have known better. I felt less like a customer and more like an old friend that stopped by to get some work done. Everyone there treated me like a part of the family. These guys are awesome. I highly recommend them for any and all car service you might need.

Mark Evans is a stand up guy and his mechanics are very good. They did a complete systems and mechanical restoration job on a beautiful 1967 Camero RS Convertible for me and they did a fabulous job. They pretty much just had a "open checkbook" to do what ever needed to be done to the car. There was a long list that amouted to a little over $13,000. The work they did was very good and they didnt take advantage of the open checkbook. Because of the nature of this project it could have turned into a very difficult situation had Mark and his crew not been very ethical and honorable business people. Thanks for the great work. Honest if not a bit pricey. But you will not find a more professional staff with character and integrity shining through at all times. . I would rate Evans Automotive and Mr. Motorheads Garage the best in St. Augustine. I would give Mr. Motorheads a slight advantage on knowledge with classic Mercedes repairs. But its hard to be critical of Mark Evans since he illuminates respect and it is always graciously given in return to him by his customers.

Great Service at fare prices I own 3 cars, a classic, a sports car and a new daily driver. All are serviced and repaired by Evans. They have never failed to solve the problems and fix any of the issues with these vehicles. They have went as far as hand making parts for my classic that were no longer available. Mark and his staff bend over backwards to resolve youre auto issues in a timely manor and keep you informed though the process.

Great service! After having the cooling system flushed by another automotive center, I started having trouble with leaking coolant. Evans put a good deal of time and effort into finding the problem and fixing it properly. The price was far below my expectation, and the vehicle was ready for pick-up very quickly. Now Im on my way back to have them do a service on the Air Conditioning. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing. . . . they know how to reduce the stress of car breakdowns and repairs to virtually NONE. My extended family has gotten car service from Evans for years and we have always been pleased with their superior service. They never push a service you do not need and their advice on car issues is right on target. Their front desk staff is also superior. My Dad is elderly and they are always patient with any questions he might have so he truly appreciates that aspect.

I look my 2005 f 150 to get a heli coil put in ..at a fair price ..the repair has held... BUT they caught my truck on fire and burned a lot of the electric lines and fuel lines ... then only wrapped them with electric tape PERIOD .. NOW THAT I AM SELLING MY TRUCK IT HAS BECOME A BIG ISSUE AND I WISH I HAD NEVER TAKEN MY TRUCK TO THEM ... THIS IS 100% the facts

I get my tires here when I had my Mercedes Benz and they are great with my Ford Focus Ztec. They even were able to service my Mercedes and the Ford saved me hundreds and kept me out of the Stealership. They seem to appreciate the business and are very open to explain things to me and always make time for me on the phone. My husband uses them now too...

came in with a oil drip. after 750$ they said it was fixed. got home and it was worse than when I brought it in. How does a mechanic not see the leak was not fixed? Brought it back in the counter guy refused to use a aftermarket part and demanded I must get Vw oem. Another 300$. All in all the Vw price quote was cheaper.

They have taken care of my parents vehicle for years and fixed my Gator Van when I was passing through after a 5000 mile road trip. Dozier & Lee are the absolute best! A++

We went there to get the car fixed and the repairs added up to be more than the value of the car. That would have been nice to know at the diagnostic level, rather than at each successive step. Also, when we finally got the car home it has a coolant leak. Were definitely not taking it back. Not impressed.

A friend referred me to Evans a couple or three years ago, and Ive used them since. They repair whats needed and dont try to "sell me up." The service is friendly and thorough. I usually call for an appointment because of their brisk business. I can say nothing but good about Evans Automotive.

Have had great experiences at Evans. Prices are good, but more important is them being trustworthy. We had a catastrophic failure in the clutch assembly 6 months after Evans installed it....full warranty for both parts and labor! Highly recommended.

Pulled in with my class a rv.asked if they work on generators,in ten minutes they where working on it.The Cummins dealer said see ya in 3 weeks.there mechanic was very knowledgeable about generators and this place is Number 1 in my book

Good fast service..ppl i talked to said their prices are a little high even for an oil change. They have a board full of thank you cards but the mechanics will look at you suspiciously when youre looking to see what kinda job theyre doing.

I had a nail in the tread of my tire. Evans Auto quickly patched my tire within minutes using a patch technique rather than a plug. Good people. I learned first hand why they were voted best in St. Augustine. Youve got my vote, thanks!

Picked upped a nail in a tire and went to Evans for a patch job. The pulled nail, determined the nail did not punch thru or caused a leak. Refused to charge me and sent me on my merry way. Thanks Evans!
