I had air conditioning issues with my 2008 Honda CR-V EX-L upon returning to town from a road trip and did some Google-fu to discover that my CR-V had a common problem with the AC clutch going out, which would mean a replacement of the compressor and a few other components (great!). My fears were worsened when I observed with my own eyes my clutch not engaging when the AC system was turned on. I Googled local St. Augustine, FL mechanics and found Feldman Auto Repair, which had a 5.0/5.0 score on Google and Yelp! reviews. With promising reviews, I scheduled an appointment for the next day and brought my CR-V in. I was greeted by Mike, the owner, who got the paperwork setup and passed the keys to Gary, the master mechanic. I told Gary about the common AC clutch problem with the CR-V (he already knew about it) and told him I thought it would be the compressor. He checked out my car and discovered that it was only the AC relay that had gone out! So instead of being a 4-5 hour ordeal and having to buy a compressor and whatever else, it was only a total of $68.00 for the AC relay and the diagnosis! They had it installed that day, as soon as the Honda parts guy arrived and dropped off the relay, and I once again had awesome AC! These guys are my new mechanics for EVERYTHING! Honest, trustworthy, friendly, and FAST! I will be returning for ANY future issues I have with my households vehicles! Thanks Feldman Auto Repair!

My family’s first experience with Feldman Auto Repair was late 2013 when my truck decided it wanted a new alternator for Christmas. Being new to northeast Florida we were in search of a local vehicle physician, we found a community recommendation spotlighting Feldman and decided to take a chance on them. Gary and Mike were able to get to the repair quickly, the quality of the repair was outstanding, and priced very reasonably. Since then we’ve had both of our vehicles in the caring hands of Feldman Auto Repair a few times for various other jobs and have experienced the same quality, professionalism, and price each and every time. I have no reservations recommending Feldman Auto Repair and have been doing so since my first visit with them in late 2013. At this point we don’t even bother shopping around for repair, when something goes wrong, the phone in Feldman’s shop rings. When you find a good auto repair business it doesn’t pay to shop around!

They installed our alternator we bought from auto zone but the alternator turned out defective from auto zone. It only lasted 2 weeks. Went back to Feldmans after my car died and I was on a timed schedule due to having to leave work and they helped me get back to work on time! Ordered a new one right then and i was all set in a few hrs. Gave great advice on where to buy auto products and parts. And Mike even drove me where I needed to go when the taxis were backed up!! I was so impressed with his customer service but also genuine concern and kindness for others. He gave us a discount and made sure I was set before I left. Wish I couldve left him a tip but they wouldnt except. :-( Amazing people at this place. Definitely will be going back. Everyone needs to go to this place!!

I only have my car serviced and repaired by Feldmans Auto Repair. As a woman, I FEEL VERY SAFE that they never will take advantage of my un-knowledge of cars. Every time Im in the shop they all cordially greet me with SMILES. I love to shop local!! And Id tell the whole city (St. Augustine) about Feldmans if I could!! They offer most auto services in a very efficient manner and theyre comfortably competitive in their pricing. These guys are the most friendly group of men that I know in St. Augustine... Recommendations from a FB group convinced me to give Feldmans a try and they didnt disappoint. Because of their good reviews (expected them to be busy) I called first to make sure they had time to change my oil. These guys run a great business. I felt comfortable right away. No upsell b.s. (like you see at some of the other places). He let me know that I had some brake issues, but I was already aware of those. If the oil change went well, a brake estimate was going to be my next question so it all worked out well. I was VERY pleased. FYI: There is a produce & seafood market right next door (if you dont want to sit and wait). It takes about 30 minutes.

What can I say.......these guys are great!! I cant thank them enough for coming to my rescue. Im a single mom who lives in Naples, FL whose son is in college at Flagler. When he called me at midnight to say he had broken down, you can only imagine how helpless and worried I felt being so far away. The next morning I called Feldmans and they came to the rescue. I had the car towed there and within hours the repairs were complete. I cant say "thanks" enough for making a stressful situation less stressful. Not only are they top mechanics, they are great therapists too. Ha! Michael was great a putting this worried moms mind at ease. Thanks guys!!!!

I just moved to St Augustine and after having a great mechanic for 15 years, I needed repairs on my Suburban. Someone recommended Feldman and although it was a little out of my way, I am glad I went there! It is always nice to deal with the owner and he looked at the vehicle, diagnosed the problem and gave me a price right away. When the repair was completed, they did exactly what they said they would do and the price never changed. I called my old mechanic and gave him the numbers and he said it was right on! Finding an honest car repair shop is tough, but it looks like I did. I look forward to using Feldman auto repair whenever I need car work.

These guys are the absolute best! I was really worried, as I am a young woman and I know little to nothing about cars. But they answered all of my questions, never tried to sell me anything I didnt need, gave me all of the information as plainly as they possibly could, and treated me very well- I never once felt uncomfortable there. Mike, one of the owners, was incredibly nice and patient with me, and at the end of the day, it was a fair price. I left feeling very happy and well taken care of. Ive never seen a place have ONLY five-star reviews, but this place definitely deserves it!
