Some time ago, I bought this new super-duper orange 5 year coolant and took my car to this shop to have a coolant system flush. I specified that they use the orange coolant in the container I had placed in the car. When I picked up my car, I was surprised to find the orange coolant container untouched and the usual green coolant in my system. Oh well. Not too long after, I listened to the great "Magic Mechanic" radio show and learned of the horrendous damage this new coolant did to cooling systems, causing many to have to be replaced. I am so grateful to this shop for catching this potential disaster. Recently, I brought my car in because it was making a noise that sounded like road noise caused by knobby truck tires. I thought my tires were bad. The manager and I drove my car and he said it was a bad bearing on the front driver side wheel. I never would have guessed. The bearing was replaced and I was charged a fair price. Now my 1990 car with 300,000 (sic) miles on it runs like new. I am so pleased. There are criticisms below, and Im sure these reports may have merit. But, for example, the lady who said they took an hour and a half before they started on her car - like the mechanics were all having a siesta and chatting on their cell phones with their girlfriends: but just maybe the were hard at work on prior customers cars. I recommend you always leave you car at any shop and come back when it is ready instead of waiting in the customer break room. And as for the recommended alignment, what were the computer read-out figures after the alignment test was done? We have no idea. Women, pffft. In my experience, I have always gotten good work at a fair price.

Quick, courteous, have helped me so much with a used car. EDIT ... Yeah... helped me because apparently thought I had a sugar daddy or an endless supply of money! THOUGHT I found someone I could trust. But its all about the $$$. LAST visit was for an oil change. They said it was time to rotate tires. Ok, cool. Rotate. Oil changed (over 50.00 for a 15 yr old car!), then informed me I need a cv axle. Ok, its an older car. I understand that. Quoted me over 500.00...305.00 for a part that can be purchased for 40.00. Over 260.00 for 2 hrs labor. Were HOT to get me to sign up for their credit card... So focused on THAT ... Never mentioned BALANCING the tires and it would cost 50.00! Get in the car and the tires were so unbalanced it wasnt even drivable. But I HAD to drive it to pick up my child. Any fool knows if you rotate tires they must be balanced! But, nooooo; they were so focused on getting 600.00 out Of a single mom they completely blew that off. I returned the next day to get tires balanced. Every visit Ive made there has required a follow-up 2nd visit to make things right. Ive spent a boatload of $$ there to get this car in shape to be safe and my former opinion has changed drastically and forever. Way to go, guys. Find someone else to try to pressure into a company credit card they cant afford... When you KNOW my job situation And that I cannot possibly take on a credit card bill. Deeply disappointed is an understatement.

While the men are super nice the idea of the corporation is to overcharge for services you dont need. Every time I go I am given a huge list of things that are wrong so they say and then I go to my mechanic who I trust because he is truly honest and confirms that 90 percent of the items they list does not need to be done to the car. I went in a week ago and the woman behind the counter quotes you this high number for tires and neglects to share all the services added to the tire cost that isnt needed. While I have always gone there for my tires after this last experience I went to a competitor who gave me better tires for a cheaper price. On top of that I had a tire rod and struts replaced by my mechanic to get a full alignment and when I go in again they said oh now you need something else done and we can do it for over 400 dollars. Are you serious while it is not the fault of the employees the charges are way to much and I guarantee the employees are getting paid a huge salary based on the fees the company charges for services you must likely dont need. I contacted my mechanic and guess what while I dont need it I am having it done for a little of a hundred. Now they havent lost my business once but now twice in one week.I dont like to feel I am constantly going to be ripped off and know when I walk in I wont trust what is said to me.

I brought my 00 Ford F150 truck in today because the emergency brake light was on. Were new to the area and Tires Plus seemed like an honest repair shop until I got their appraisal. They quoted me $2700 for balls, brakes, rotors and $650 alone for an after market brake cable from Ford since they claim its a 12 year old vehicle and Ford doesnt make the part anymore. Well, after they reassembled my truck I was on my way. They made me wait around for over two hours and the shop wasnt busy at all. The night before last I brought the truck to the Mobil shop over in Sanford by the mall and they showed me my radiator fluid tested fine, Tires Plus said it needed to be replaced, along with the same lights that Mobil replaced for me last night...and theyre still working when I looked! On the ride home I noticed a hum noise when I was turning out of the parking lot coming from my front tires and the ride isnt smooth anymore, but hey, with all their messing around my emergency brake light is off and Im heading to another shop. Apparently they didnt receive the notice that my two-year old son was just diagnosed with cancer and I gave back my 11 Jeep to lessen our bill load, bought this truck from AAA Pawn and Gun up the road and it runs like a champ. Go ANYwhere else!

BE CAREFUL OVER HERE! They will try to sell you things you dont need just to make a profit. My fathers been a mechanic for longer than Ive been alive, and I had to get my tire nozzle fixed since it was leaking. He was the one who diagnosed what was wrong with it, but he didnt have the equipment needed to replace it, so I came here to see if they could do it. I was greeted by some middle-aged man who, at first, seemed friendly, but after I explained to him the problem and showed him my tire, he said the tire was "also bad". He said hed have to replace the tire itself and quoted me $80 for the entire thing fixed.... I called my father to inform him of this, and my dad told me hes just trying to get money out of me. I told the man that its fine, all I wanted was the nozzle replaced, and he told me he refused to do just the nozzle replacement because Id be in "danger" of driving on it, and he doesnt want to send me away with only the nozzle fixed or itd be on him... so I left, went to another tire place, got the nozzle fixed for FIVE DOLLARS, and proceeded to drive 800 miles north back home on the same day on that tire without a SINGLE problem. Completely dishonest, do not recommend.
