1 star only because zero stars is not an avaialable rating, they are completely useless here, this is a REPLACEMENT shop, they have no interest in actually fixing your problem, just fleecing you for as much money as humanly possible. I Called for an estimate for my truck, explained that I had a transmission leak from my overdrive servo cap. The tech asked how may miles on the tranny, as soon as he heard it was high mileage he dismissed any chance of being able to repair it, saying "Youll be wasting your time" Despite me telling him that the tranny was fine besides the leak. He refused to give me a quote on any type of repair. Saying that I needed a rebuilt transmission at a cost of $2500.00! LOL, I called Action Transmission, they gave me a quote of $95 over the phone for the repair. Took the truck there this morning, it was on the lift within 5 minutes, the repair took about two hours and that was only because of where the leak was and them having to wait for the catalytic converter to cool down. They charged me $100 because they had to add in Tranny fluid that leaked out. My Truck is leak free and running/shifting perfectly. Do not waste your time with AAMCO they are professional RIPOFF artists!

Brought my truck in to have the transmission rebuilt by a reputable company. It was rebuilt to the tune of $2700. I asked about the extended warranty and was told it was a scam for Aamco to make more money and I should not buy it. I was also told that they had upgraded everything that needed to be upgraded and the transmission would outlast the truck. Now 2 years and 20,000 miles later I have no reverse due to a part they replaced failing. I was told it was bad luck and it does not normally happen, but they would be happy to put another transmission in for $2000 with a 3 year 50,000 mile warranty. I wanted to like this place. They are friendly and seemed honest. I have referred over $7000 in other work to them and even had them replace part of my A/C system for another $700. I wish I had taken my truck somewhere else. Not happy with Aamco and will not do business again.

I was having issues with my 2001 Grand Prix what I thought was the transmission slipping. I took my car into a mechanic who diagnosed my transmission being bad and that I needed a clutch kit and rebuild costing me $1,500.00. I did not have the cash and decided to start looking for a new car and trade the grand prix in. On the way to the dealership, I stopped by Aamco just to see how much they wanted compared to the other mechanic. Chris at Aamco took it for a test drive and told me my transmission was fine. I was shocked! He said that the Catalytic Converter was plugged. I went ahead and had them replace it. My car now runs like a dream again and I saved a grand trying to fix something that wasnt broken. I saved even more because now I do not need a loan. I highly recommend the deland Aamco shop! They now have a loyal customer!

I was at this aamco location on 8/17/15 I was told I need a transmissions rebuilt that cost me $2918.00. Today is 05/16/17, 17 month after it was repair by this aamco shop my transmission is gone again I need another costly repair. I call the store manager and he call me stupid because I took my car to my closer aamco shop. This store manager was nothing but rude and nonprofessional he didnt even ask me for my repair ticket to verify my repair and after he just hang up the phone on me. SO PEOPLE THINK TWICE OR CONTACT ME BEFORE BRINGING YOUR CARS TO THIS LOCATION THEY NOT WORT IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I came to AAMCO because the dealer I purchase my vehicle from could not find the problem I was having. Also their 27 point on regular service was not true as fluids they say they check became very low. Because of advertising I saw about AAMCO I decided to go there. Chris Knecht greeted me as if he had known me for a while. I explained the problem I was having and he told me what the problem was and they would take care of it. He did and I have been there since for all my regular maintenance. This dealer is 460 Woodland Blvd. Deland, Fl.

Stranded 100 miles from home in a 1967 Beetle, these guys came to the rescue and did a fan belt change for me minutes before closing on a Saturday with a smile. They even made sure all my tires were inflated properly. Friendly on the phone and in person. I had a wonderful customer service experience at this location and would recommend them to anyone who needs some auto work done. Most people wont touch my vintage car, these folks had no problem getting me back on the road and saved the day.

These guys are the best I have deal with. They fixed my transmission even when it give them a hard time because of the way Nissan made those CVTs, still they did the best and got it fixed. Then they fix my engine and no problem from there on. I definitely recommend those guys, and I will be back soon, my engine need some fixing again. Thank you for the hard work you done in my car.

They are so damd rude over the phone and they play stupid or dum when you question there work . They treat everyone as they are all stupid. Mr. Chris there is such an a-hole... I will never bring my cars there no more. Let alone send anyone there for repairs. They need to go out of business.

These guys are really good. I went to three other local repair facilities who were unable to fix my Chevy Tahoe. That also included the dealership. They were easy to deal with and provided friendly professional service. The owner is to be commended for his great crew.
