Before I write my review, it should be known that I left a favorable review on a competitors page, who I now consider the store where Ill take my business from now on. Therefore, this is not a random rant - I consider my review to be well-founded and based on factual information. Quick background on myself - I have been working on car for 16+ years as a self-taught diagnostician/technician. I work on everything from vintage Porsches to modern Fords. I am well versed, have several customers of my own, and I know what I am talking about, so when I say "the customer is always right," I expect to be treated that way. Well, this Firestone store was at one point a solid business. Their former manager treated my wife with respect and was knowledgeable. However, our recent experience was almost as far opposite as one can get. Not even two years ago (approximately 14k miles), we had new tires put on my wifes car and paid good money for an alignment. I drove the car and within a week, I knew that it was not right, more specifically, toed out. Had her bring the car back, and apparently they thought there was nothing wrong with it. Fast forward to last month when she picked up a screw. I could have plugged the tire myself, but not wanting to void my Road Hazard warranty, I had her bring the car back. Of course, because of the downright WRONG alignment they did, the insides of the tires were worn, which they insisted meant that they could no longer touch the tires. My wife insisted that they were the last people to touch the alignment and that she simply wanted the tire plugged. To which point, TIM, one of the unprofessional "managers" basically called my wife (a teacher) a liar and tried to get her to buy new tires. How did I know the alignment was wrong, you might ask? Well, as soon as she got home I did my own alignment on the car, the old fashioned way with toe plates and tape measures. The toe was off by almost 1/2 of an inch! To anyone who knows cars, that simply does not happen on its own and certainly not from wear and tear over 14k miles. In addition, there is NOTHING else wrong with the front end of the car. So, I marched back down to Firestone the next day and was given the same story when I talked to Tim and the other so-called "managers", who again basically called me a liar to my face. However, this time when I mentioned that they were dealing not only with a teacher, but a member of the DoD, and that I also have several customers of my own who I will NOT be sending to them, all I got was a sob story. So there you have it Firestone. You squabbled over several hundred dollars, which was your fault to begin with. But since then, we have spent over $1300 dollars at your competitor and will continue to from here on out. Furthermore, I will insist that MY customers take their vehicles to your competitor for all of their tire needs, as well as all of the teachers and DoD members we know in the area. Thats what, 5-10 thousand dollars youll be missing out on over the next couple of years? Remember, the customer is always right.

i came in to the store with nothing but respect, my tires were cracked on the side even tho i had more than 80-90 % of thread left, i asked about recall, when a gentleman tim i believe came out to talk to me after mechanic checked the car he told me that there was no recall on that particular tire, i asked about warranty and he stated that without a receipt he couldnt help me, however he did offer to sell me a set of brand new tires, i decided that was sketchy and left the shop, next day i called corporate firestone office and described my case, they instructed me to take it to any certified distributor, and ask them to implement the ozone warranty as long as the tire was with in 4 years of manufacturing stamp on the tire, i called tim back just to get more and more insults to any intelligent person like the ozone warranty is when the whole tire all around is cracked, or that that was caused do to low tire pressure which was also a lie, seems like anything this guy told me until i mentioned legal procedure was either a run around or a flat out lie, after i mentioned a legal procedure this guys story took a 360 turn, going as far as to offer a tow truck to pick up my car even the day before he let me leave the shop and go drive my family in a car that firestone tech at westshore would not let me drive off until he put a spare on my front tire because he didnt have that particular tire in stock, to make the long story short i FEEL REALLY BAD for elderly people dealing with this particular person or business.

I have been going here for the past 4 years and the management has changed hands a lot. I have been a loyal customer of Firestone since 2000 and I have had really good luck with the managers from all the locations including this one. That was until a year ago at this location. My son in law went to this location Summer of 2013 to get his AC fixed. When he left the AC worked but then the power steering was shot. He took it back and told them what was happening. They said they didnt know why. I was out of town so I could not deal with them. I chalked it up as a mistake some where and I figured it was just a fluke. Then in June 2014 I went in to get an oil change for my 2006 Camry with 76K miles. I told him I had a coupon from the website. He told me that they would take care of it. When I got the estimate ticket it was for $40? I went back to my office and brought up the coupon which was for $21.00. I called him back and told him about he coupon price that I had and he said the coupon was for newer cars or something like that? I told him I was selling the car and I did not care what type of oil he put in the car, I just wanted the $21.00 special. He told me that they would not do that and it was company policy to only put in high mileage oil into this year and make. I got mad and said OK. I paid the switch and bait price for the oil change and I do not plan on ever going back to Firestone again. I guess a 10 year customer is worth nothing to them.

I brought my car in for a battery light that would come on with the AC. I received a call that they were unable to start the car and were unable to run diags on it due to the low battery. I authorized the replacement of the battery. After the battery replacement I received a call that the alternator was also bad and authorized the replacement of it. I paid the core charge to get the original battery and brought it to an AutoZone for testing. It was at 50% charge and they charged it fully and indicated the battery tested good. I called Firestone and they were quick to refund the money and put the original battery back in. They called when it was done and indicated that the car wouldnt start with the original battery but they could again install the replacement for a charge. I left the original battery in it and it started up right away without issues and has continued to. I now wonder if I should have paid the core charge for the alternator to verify it was bad.
