I had two issues with this location. First, I brought my wifes vehicle in to get alignment because it was pulling hard to the right. They did the alignment and then after I left with vehicle it was doing the same thing, no change. I called them and they said it was because the alignment made the tires wear uneven and to bring it back for a tire rotation. Why they didnt test drive themselves when done to ensure issue was resolved seems like should have been done. 2nd, I brought my truck in for an oil change, while doing the oil change they found a leaking hydro booster bad which had to be fixed. Upon leaving, when I got home and hit the fob lock, no chirp from my truck. Upon further testing the alarm when triggered no longer makes any sound, which is useless. I brought it back and they swear it could not have been them and the service manager was even rude to me about it. Seems too coincidental to me that it was working when I dropped it off for the work and didnt work when they were done! UPDATE: I took my truck to another repair shop and he was able to fix my alarm system by reprogramming the module. He indicated that this sometimes happens if when working on the vehicle, the battery terminals are not disconnected properly causing the system to lose its programming. I wish that CBA would have found their mistake on their own instead of me having to take it somewhere else and spend another $75.

Needed my alternator replaced, which they did just fine. Spoke with someone on the phone who told me the %10 off for getting towed there by AAA would be honored and yet had to bring it up again upon checkout to make sure I got the measly discount. Customer service was cold and drab. Didnt feel welcome there. Also, three days after my alternator was replaced my battery died. Even though the tech told me he checked out the battery and it was good. Overall, I got charged too much, and didnt feel very comfortable using CB. Should have just went to the dealership for the extra fifty bucks. A month or so after this happened my car wouldnt start. After being unable to figure out what was wrong with it I took it back to Christian Brothers because when I called Doug mentioned he would run some tests to see if it was the alternator. Turns out it was a small piece that broke on the clutch and had nothing to do with their previous work. And they didnt charge me for the diagnosis and even temporarily fixed the problem so I could start my car and fix it on my own. Thanks guys.

Customer service was great. The guy that attended to me was welcoming and patient. The waiting area sets the bar for other auto shops to aspire towards. My car problems were fixed to a satisfactory degree. All in all I feel confident in the ability of their mechanics. Reasons for 4 not 5 stars: The wait was formidable! I did not have an appointment, but I think five hours was too long a wait. But to be fair, I showed up on Monday morning. I would have appreciated a better time estimate, I was told it would take a couple of hours. Secondly, I wont go into details but they tried to sell me more services than was necessary. Button line, this place is more expensive than others like good year. However, they have great service, an amazing guest lounge, and dunkin donuts, aka, my favorite place on the planet, is just next door. Im not sure Ill be a regular here, still want to check out the Good Year on Tampa road, but was worth going to at least once.

We paid for a diagnostic, and then paid over $500 on top of that to fix the car. We get the car back, and it still has the SAME exact issue. Its turning off randomly while driving. We brought the car back, and told them it is not fixed at all. Now they want $275 to look at the car. That is absolutely deplorable business. I would love to hear from the owner at this point. ***update*** the owner of this establishment did see my review, and made sure that they checked out the car for free and it is running good now. Not sure what the communication issue was initially, but he did take care of it and the car is running good so for that I am thankful.

Excellent experience! This was my second trip to Christian Brothers in Westchase. First time for an oil change and second time for an oil change and replacing ball joints on the front end. Both trips I was treated fairly and they did not try to oversell me. The entire staff and employees are clean cut and polite, not like some of the crude and inexperienced mechanics found elsewhere. Im a senior citizen, so Ive been around. Believe me when I say you will find no better experience and a fair shake for your money than at Christian Brothers Automotive in Westchase. Kudos to Jason, Carla and Brian.

Heard they were honest so visited with some shaking in the front end while braking at speed. Was told that it needed a master cylinder, both calipers and brake hoses and as well as outer tie rod ends. Visited Bill over at Duncan Auto on Douglas in Oldsmar(my usual place) and found it was just the 2 inner tie rods ends. I thought it was funny it didnt pull at all for calipers to be bad. No dragging either when letting off the brakes so was dubious. I do need new rear shoes after turning the drums and brake new hardware back there but thats was all they got right. I will do that myself.

I have been going to Christian Brothers for over a year at this point, now on my 2nd car being serviced by them. Always a stress/drama free experience, competitive pricing on service, knowledgeable staff, and accurate time estimates for fixes or repairs. I have gone in for standard scheduled maintenance only up to this point but they always inspect the vehicle and let you know if there is something they see that might be of concern. I highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a nice locally owned (franchised) place to manage the maintenance of your vehicle.

This is a good, reasonably priced, independent garage near the Westchase area in Northwest Hillsborough County. Ive bfought my daughters car there several times for routine service and for a couple of repairs. These guys are thoughtful, and mindful of their customers wallets. One issue I went there with was an exhaust problem, where the factory replacement item was about a thousand dollars. They actually took the time to find the part on EBay, passed the info to me to order, and installed it for me when it came in. It saved me hundreds of dollars.

BEWARE!!! RUN DONT WALK TO THE NEAREST (ANY OTHER) AUTO REPAIR SHOP....DO NOT STOP or DO BUSINESS HERE! If have an import like a Mercedes they will farm out! Charged 2x...cant even diagnose. If you value time take it to the dealer youself and have a rental. Seriously, because 2 vehicles, both non-resolved had to get fixed elsewhere. Take a minute, research and definately look elsewhere! Their logo is a no no no never go there! Its a classic case of FRANCHISE hides behind the NAME! Jus remember I warned you.
