These guys could have easily ripped me off for a simple repair, but instead they were honest, straightforward, and did the job at a fair rate. They even saved me a ton of money by finding good used hard parts to put into my transmission. Having run a transmission shop and several automotive repair shops in my younger years, I can appreciate the value of an honest mechanic, especially one in the transmission field. If youre looking for great customer service and a constant smiling face, go to Goodyear and pay three times as much. These guys just provide good, inexpensive, and honest work; the three key things you should look for in a shop. Ill take quality and a fair price over a fake smile any day of the week :)! Thank you A-Tex for getting my car on the road at a fair price! I will recommend everyone I know to you.

This place is Pasco Countys best kept secret! My car was running horrible and jerking in lower gears. I brought it in, and they took it for test drive right away....even though they were very busy. Upon return, they told me what the problem was. Since it was simple, I was able to fix the issue myself, and I havent had an issue since. He could have easily told me they were too busy to do a test drive or rip me off, but didnt. Its VERY hard to find a place with knowledgeable mechanics who are honest and not looking to "get one over" on people. They earned another customer for life! Thank you ATEX

Had my little 5.0L RS Camaros 700R4 rebuilt a few years back from them... I already had the tranny out and they rebuilt it and installed it for $600. Great ppl and and car drove perfect after that. IDK WHAT Kris is talking about. Must be a picky person, I know Im hard to deal with and please... and I was pleased here and will be taking my moms 2002 Caddy there soon for a transmission overhaul and my K1500 Sierra too. Honest and good people... Highly recommend!

These people stand behind their work. They replaced our transmission, and when it failed about a year later (due to a bad part from the manufacturer), they fixed it at no charge! They later did more work for us as if under warranty, when it really wasnt. Incredibly fair and honest--even generous! Highly recommended.

I took my vehicle to Atex letting them know I was planning to drive it on a trip in four days. They said no problem. After 2 days, they told me that they didnt even have to tools to service the transmission. Quite possibly the WORST customer service ever. Dont risk this place if you need it done in a timely manner
