Simple virus issue that the tech. said would take "a day to a day and a half" if it wasnt too complicated. Dropped it off Monday morning, and it was made clear we needed this computer back by Thursday. I was emailed the next day at about five minutes before they closed was asked to call them. Of course I couldnt because they were closed. I called Wednesday morning and I was explained the services and the price, which I agreed to as it was a fair price. I again reiterated that I had to have this computer back by the end of Thursday. He said that should be OK as all they had to do was transfer the data onto the laptop. Was told it may be ready at the end of the day or Thursday morning first thing. I called at noon on Thurs...wasnt ready. Called at 3pm...wasnt ready...called at 530pm, and was told that it was still transferring "a lot of data and programs" and it would be ready Friday morning. I kinda flipped out. Went up there and got the computer as it was (not completed), and they offered for me to bring it back the next day to finish. Of course, Word wasnt finished transferring, so it didnt help me at all. This laptop has two programs on it. Word 2016 and Google Chrome...thats it. Theres maybe 500 pictures on there. This is a simple kitchen-counter laptop that they alleged took over 9 hours to transfer data on. Not including all day Wednesday they had to work on it. Its obvious my computer was very low on their priority, and because of that my wife had to take my daughter to her office until 11pm Thursday night to complete her school project on the computer there. Im not as upset about it not being done on time, as I am for them clearly lying to me. Im not a computer nerd, but anyone these days can google approx. computer service times and see it should only take a couple hours to transfer data off and onto a laptop...especially one that essentially has very limited use and few programs.Simple virus issue that the tech. said would take "a day to a day and a half" if it wasnt too complicated. So the aggravating thing to me is the clear dishonesty I received, then I paid for it with no other recourse.

What can I say... other than Pinellas Computer is the ONLY place to go for ALL computer repair, parts, advice and service. The word "expert" is bandied about these days with aplomb (now theres a good word) but Ryan truly deserves the title. His experience and dedication are superior to any other service of its kind that I have ever experienced. No matter what has gone wrong with my system, he found the cause and fixed it, often in a matter of minutes. If it was a real mind-bender, Ryan would not rest till he fixed it. Which sometimes meant spending more time and effort than he ever billed me for. His prices are more than competitive and worth twice the price. (Yes, Ryan, I would pay more for the quality work you do and the benefit of your knowledge. Thanks for being so competitive with your prices!) I trust his work so much that I send clients to him from everywhere, knowing that he will always fix what is wrong, or know what options are available and be able to make intelligent, reliable recommendations. His staff is also efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. Ryan is not out to make a sale - he has integrity and makes sure the job is done, done right and stands behind his product and services. Which is why his business has grown and he is the Go-To Guy in Tampa Bay today. Fast, reliable, personal, honest, expert, affordable. A real "inside" find in the computer world. If you dont know Pinellas Computer, you are definitely missing out. Put them on your Priority To-Do list today and call! Thank you, Ryan. What a relief to be able to have IT you can depend on. Could not do business without you!

Im a believer! I was sure Id killed my laptop with a wine baptism. I figured I was going to end up paying an arm and a leg to replace fried components. All I had to shell out was 98 bucks for a good rice dry out and a cleaning. These are my new go to people. Im am editing this because of my experience today. I stopped in to Pinellas Computers today to see about having a computer built, or if they had used computers. I was pointed to a section of lap tops. I found one in my price range, and the specs were good, and Im a Toshiba fan. Problem is that I could not turn on the laptop. When I inquired about it, they told me the battery was probably dead. I waited until one of the guys was finished with a customer and said, "I assume this laptop comes with a power cord, so can we power this puppy up?" Nope. they said it wasnt configured and it would take them an hour. So let me get this straight. They wanted me to purchase a used laptop without trying it out first? That made no sense. I told them the same and walked out. I honestly planned to buy the laptop right then and there if I could have tried it.
