Upon reading fantastic reviews I decided to give Preemo a shot. My laptop screen malfunctioned so I took it in to have them determine the problem. Upon diagnosis it was decided the screen had to be replaced. I decided to order the part myself and have Preemo take care of the installation. When I ordered and received the LCD screen I didnt notice any flaws with the part. However, when it was taken to Preemo and installed in my laptop, I found a scratch on the screen when I picked it up. At that point I had already paid Preemo for their services. Up to this point I had a good experience with the company- the associates I initially dealt with were professional and courteous, so I assumed a conversation with them on the problem wouldve been a smooth one. The following day I informed them of the issue and left the laptop with them after being told theyd see what my options were through their supervisor. In the end I spoke with the owner and was told that because I ordered the part myself, there was no guarantee one of their employees damaged it. They offered to uninstall the screen for free, but could only give me a 15% off discount on the next installation once I received a replacement part. In a nutshell, they were going to charge me a second time to install a screen they possibly damaged, even though it was still under Preemos warranty period. Initially I agreed to those terms, but eventually decided to just have them uninstall the screen and find for myself other means of installing a new one. At this point the owner told me because they werent making anymore money from this they d be hesitant to move forward, but decided to anyway, out of "good faith". A comment such as that really puzzled me. I could understand a company being hesitant to admit responsibility when a part was not ordered through them. I can even see why a company would feel theyd be losing "time" and "money" by performing a free procedure when there are other paying jobs to do. I was however under the impression that a business was about working with the customer to bring about a reasonable resolution to whatever problems may arise. Depending on such problem and circumstances, it should be dealt with in a way so hopefully both parties are satisfied. The fact of the matter is, the screen was possibly damaged in their care. At no point though did I request or demand they reimburse me for a new one. I was willing to supply another screen myself, all I wanted was for them to install it for me. It would not have been inconvenient for Preemo to install the screen without charging me twice. If such a compromise had been done, they wouldve gained a loyal customer. The only positive thing to stem from this is through various online tutorials Ive learned how to successfully install the part myself, and have done so. It is unfortunate because I expected to walk away from Preemo as a happy customer, but was unsatisfied and disappointed instead. *******AUGUST 22nd UPDATE******* Minor spelling error was found in last sentence of review, it has been corrected. Was unaware that reviews initial date would then be modified to reflect the current date as a result of the edit (review initially written in July).

Ive had the same laptop for about 3 years now. Recently, it was infected with a terrible virus that woldnt event allow it to start up correctly. I panicked because I have tons of pictures, music, and improtant documents on my hard drive that I could not lose. I immediately brought my computer to Preemo to see if everything could be saved. when they got back to me, they informed me that the computer was badly infected. I knew this day would inevitably come, so I told them that I need to find a new computer. Without even hesitating, the gentleman who was assisting me began to help me shop for a new computer. I told him what I was basically looking for in a computer, and what I generally use it for. He also made suggestions as to what he saw when he diagnosed my infected laptop as to what would possible work better for me. In the end, he provided me with 2 outstanding options! A Dell, and an HP! Shopping for a computer has never been easier. Not only did he completely customize the new laptops to my specifications, but also walked me through step by step to explain the reasons behind each component. Preemo was direct and honest with me, and didnt try to sell me on something I didnt need. On top of everything, he told me that he had not only backed up EVERYTHING that I wanted from my old laptop, but also deleted any infected files that may have been carrying a virus as to not infect my new computer! I couldnt believe this service! I work in luxury hotels for a living, so I truly understand the difference between outstanding service and bad service. The way I was treated when working with Preemo was something I cannot compare to any other computer service. I am currently awaiting the arrival of my brand new customized lap top (thanks to the great people at Preemo), and have even been instructed to return to them so they can not only install all of my old files, but also give me a one-on-one tutorial on how to properly protect my computer, and prevent this from happening again in the future. BRAVO Preemo! You have definitely made me a loyal customer! Keep up the great work!

I had just struggled with the big chain brand places such as Best Buy and TigerDirect. Unfortunately, that was a waste of time as they sell the product but the follow up customer service appears something they would prefer to avoid. I actually told them that it may be time for customers to go back small "mom & pop" business (as they used to be called). That name suggested a place that you can feel comfortable with the cusomter serivce, that your interests were their primary concern, and returning was comfortable which facilitate future purchases. Well, that is exactly what Preemo Computer Repair provided me. Jermaine was on it from day one and would stay late to accomadate my needs. Jovary was there when I picked up my brand new PC and it appeared that something was different from what I had thought. Immediately, he rectified it with a temporary piece so i can do my work as they awaited for the piece. I will be returning for my future computer needs. Mario Olavarria

Cant thank these guys enough. I had Ivan come to the house, check and correct the speed of service I received, upgraded my router, and networked the entire house wirelessly. We now have it set so that the new LED tv connects to everything in the house wirelessly. I have all of the Samsung Widgets and applications accessible with a push of a button on the tv. Ive finally reached "Technological Nirvana." I get AP news scrolling across the bottom of the screen whenever I want. I have youtube, facebook, Pandora and everything else streaming directly to my tv in HD. I have the the laptop wirelessly sending family pictures, scrolling on the second input. And maybe best of all, Im Chuck Lidell fighting in the Octagon on the PS3 on the third input, against the old college roommate in Chicago online. All of it is on a private secure network setup perfectly by my boys at Preemo! Thanks again guys, great, great, job!!
