Based on my experience to also include that an American Veteran : U.S . Marine. I can feel the love. Similar to like an extended family. Most recently a very close friend shared his most recent experience. His car engine turned but would not start. In despair and hopelessness there is only establishment he could think of: Expertech. Approved of by : Triple A. A.A. Being a U.S. Veteran Marine can only mean one thing: Adapt and Over come. As explained with any car problem its caused by something. The goal is finding that something. As in life ,for every problem there is a solution. My friend has provided me priceless wisdom . Look at the problem ,study the problem ,respect the problem. Then fix and conquer the problem. This being the case : He had a starting problem : How he addressed it : Bring it to the best and let God do the rest. Plus: A good position or attitude. Our attitude can always determine our altitude. Patience is always a virtue. So with this being said; He continued sharing: When this car start problem started this is the position he took. Look at what was done and investigated. Next: The problem will always be what was not done. Example: His car engine would turn but not start. What was done: Replaced the : ( fuel pump and filter ), ( replaced ignition relay and fuel pump relay), ( next fuel pump pressure test ). Inspect wires for chaffing cuts tears. Next: Check battery terminals battery cell charge, if the starter and alternator is at top performance . Note: AutoZone does a free inspection. Next: technique : Process of elimination. My friend installed a new : Ignition switch. Why ? If the problem still does exist this cant be one of the problems. Why ? Its a new part and installed exactly perfect by one of the expert care mechanics: Mr. Oliver. The lead top supervisor inspected for perfection quality and care. Mr. Roy. My friend explained to these professionals if the problem is not yet conquered ; It will not be what we did not do , the answer is in what we didnt do. Continuing: The car starts right up. However; Being a U.S. American Marine Corp Veteran . The concept of thinking is different. Similar to General S . Butler . When asked to retreat ,this was his answer: " Retreat ,hell no ,we just got here". This is a wonderful position to look see any problem. Its even in the Holy Bible: Proverbs : He that studies a situation is wise . Haste makes waste. Now in addition to replacing the : 1998 Kia Sephia L.S. with a new ignition switch top professional care mechanic : Oliver out of the love and customer and extended family care mechanic encouragement by top supervisor : Roy , it was encouraged to clean the throttle body. So far it appears to start right up. As far as Im concerned its good to know in regards to how much we love our cars to be able to bring our cars to a place I can call home. There are so many bad mechanics. They will pretend they dont hear a certain sound, pretend they dont see a leak ,or even turn a blind eye on a certain smell. Yet I dont mind a little wait with knowledge of mechanics that will treat my car , like its their own car . This type of love , and honesty is very hard to find. Please never change : Expertech . We love you and are old cars , kept new because of you .Thanks for loving our cars like we do. Love the flat screen T.V. car maintenance information , wonderful.

I would not even give these people 1 star if that was an option. I first was having transmission issues with my car, called my dealership and they had my car picked up and sent here. These people (expert tech) had my car for 2 weeks almost 3. Ok, thats understandable, but when I got my car back there was A) still transmission issues and B) an added on massive oil leak that wasnt present before my car was under their care. My car also was making a rattling noise that I was unfamiliar with. I took my car back told them that the transmission was worse and the car was making a strange noise and the guy looked at me like I was crazy and treated me as if I was making it all up. 2 WEEKS LATER, I check the grill of my car and they left their freaking wrench there (which was the cause of the rattling noise) then I popped my hood and they left a freaking screwdriver as well. Mind you, I bought 2 quartz of oil, poured them in and it all literally drained right out onto the ground when I literally had an oil change 3 or 4 weeks before I gave my car to them and there was no leaking issue (trust me, I always get a 2nd or 3rd opinion when I get something done to my car). I called my dealership so fast and they had my car picked up immediately and sent it RIGHT BACK to expert tech. Now here is where they begin to piss me off, today is Jan 25 and they have literally had my car since early in December, meaning theyve had my car for over a freaking month. Mind you, they had my car for 3 weeks before they told me that they couldnt fix my car and had to send it somewhere else because the transmission wasnt connecting to my cars computer system. I literally have to call these people for freaking updates about my car and 99 percent of the time, the person that answers says "can I get your phone number and once I check our records or make a few calls we can give you a call back" BULLSHIT!!!!!!! For the month that they have had my car I have literally had to call them everyday because apparently they feel no need to give me any updates on my car. I work 2 jobs and attend school, I NEED MY FREAKING CAR. All of my freaking money is going into uber and the metrorail, mind you, I still have a car note that I have to pay for the very same car that I know nothing about. Then the other day I called and a woman answered and she was gonna give me the run around again, telling me that Tony wasnt there but if I leave her my number then theyll give me a call back, my mother got upset and began to explain how everyone there tells us the same thing but never calls and the rude woman hung up on us. We called back and guess who answered the phone.......TONY!!!!!!! And with an attitude...... he told my mother that the last thing he would do is give us the peoples number that is supposedly working on my car and that he was gonna call them at 12 and then give us a call back. Guess what!!!! HE NEVER GAVE US A CALL BACK!!!!! and I still dont know, to this day, when my car will be ready. I expected this to be a long progress but damn they dont even call me to tell my about my car, yet they have the nerve to feel aggravated when I call back to back to get details about my freaking car.

I had been to Expertech twice before but my visit yesterday requires me to change my rating to 1 star. I scheduled an appointment last week for an oil change and tire rotation for Monday at 9:00 am. I arrived a few minutes early and spoke with Tony, one of the owners, who told me the wait would be just an hour. I decided to wait in the shop instead of taking an Uber home, which I would have gladly done had I been told it would have been much longer. It ended up taking 3 hours, as I left right at Noon. THREE hours, for an oil change and tire rotation, and I was told ONE hour! This is unacceptable. Tony was unapologetic and didnt seem to care that I had been waiting so long. They had a problem with the TPMS system after rotating the tires but that added just an extra 15 minutes. Also, the woman up front, while friendly to me personally, was ranting about Guantanamo Bay and how Obama was going to let all of the prisoners go free (Im not sure what "news" site she was reading but it was obvious she was a big Trump supporter). She said she didnt care if innocent people were in the mix. She also ranted about "illegals." I found it off-putting and was uncomfortable. I like to support local businesses as much as possible but Ill be avoiding this one from now on. Theyve lost a loyal customer. I urge you to go elsewhere and not give this place your business.
