I have been a client of Michael Angelo Hair Studio for over 10 years and would not trust my hair to any other salon . I have run the gamut with dark and light hair color, curly and straight, as well as, very short to long hair. Michael has been with me each step of the way advising me on just the right color or style. He definitely would not let me do anything that would make me look hideous. We have had many consultation appointments, which are free by the way, and can be added into your appointment. Each time we change my color, I know that Michael is devising a color formula that is unique to me, which makes me feel special. Speaking of special, Michael and his staff treat each and every client equally, making us feel relaxed and "at home". Huge fish tanks line the walls with beautiful fish to look at. It is very calming. Fresh cut strawberries and a slice of Michaels decadent "Death by Chocolate Ricotta Cake" are served. That is my favorite part! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Nela is a bright shining star and makes everyone smile. The staff move your personal items for you when you are switching from the color area to the hairstyling area. I am often introduced to the other clients, which sparks some fun and interesting conversations. Who knew a salon would be a fabulous place for networking? Michael has at times introduced me to another client or given me a clients business card if I needed a financial advisor, nutritionist, electrician, restaurant etc. Michael also has his own line of hair products, Michael Angelo Masterpiece Haircare. About two years ago I switched myself and eventually my entire family to using these product. solely. I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but knew that Michael had never steered me in the wrong direction. My hair is no longer dry and my color seems to last longer. My hair has a shine to it again. My daughters hair has also changed. She is a swimmer and spends multiple hours in the pool and chlorine. Since using Michaels Inner Fuel spray and his Cleanse Shampoo her hair is strong, shiny and healthy. The Inner Fuel has also helped her deal with knots and tangles. I like these products because they are natural, vegan, and paraben free. What is also fabulous is that I can take my products with me on vacation because they are available in travel size! I strongly recommend this salon to anyone who is not happy with their hair, their current salon, or who is new to the area. They will not disappoint. Michael Angelo is a GENIUS and MASTER of hair cut, style and color! I have thin, dark hair and a bad haircut would be devastating! I have a high profile position and cannot afford to have a bad cut, style or color. Cut/Style: My hair is cut in such a way that I am able to change my looks from: a sophisticated, elegant Chanel; to a fun, biker babe; to a naughty, sleek, sexy vamp; to a straight laced, professional during the day...., etc. I have so much fun with my hair cut. My hair is very thin and not forgiving, so the style has to be in the cut. Michael Angelo is completely responsible for the play in my hair. I am not a creative, stylistic person and do not have a lot of time to spend on my hair. It is through his cut and guidance that I am able to have fun with my hair and change my looks. Color: I have fun with my hair color as well. Michael Angelo has changed the color from its natural boring black to a blend of auburn/brown hues with sun kissed highlights throughout. The color looks very natural. When my hair grows, the dark roots of my hair blend in as a natural progression of the auburn/brown color. I also have some graying around my forehead and temples and the color he has created to frame my face lends to a natural blend with the graying when it starts to grow out. To me, my hair cut/style and color are very intimate and personal things. I have to have these things done correctly and with perfection. Michael Angelo has completely spoiled me. In turn, I do not sabotage my hair by allowing others to cut and color my hair. I give Michael Angelo the respect, fairness and discretion needed to meet my expectations - which he exceeds every time. Michael Angelo is a GENIUS and MASTER OF CUT/STYLE AND COLOR. My wife had a shockingly horrible experience at this salon. My beautiful wife (and extremely busy mother of three young kids) came home almost in tears a couple of weeks ago. She told me how this salon not only wasted her time by confirming an appointment and taking down information about what she wanted to do with her hair, but when she got there, she declined to provide personal information such as our home address, phone, etc (some people prefer privacy), the owner said "he didnt understand the lack of information" on his form and then snootily says "its not going to work out", with a please leave attitude. Ive lived in South Tampa most of my life and cant recall of any little business like this treating people in such a snooty way, and Ive traveled extensively around this great country and quite a bit overseas as well. This story has a happy ending, she found a professional at a salon down the street who did a great job with my wifes long blonde hair. I pay about $20 for my hair cut and shave over at Westshore Mens Shoppe with a guy named John who is the nicest guy, been cutting hair for decades, very down to earth, and does a great job. Im OK with my wife spending 10+ times that on her hair because shes a wonderful woman, an excellent mother, and did I mention gorgeous.

Been going here for a few years now. Excellent customer service, they go out of their way to make clients feel welcomed and liked, and have often catered to last minute schedule demands on my part, which is appreciated. Especially when Im (rarely) late. Ive had my hair cut by several stylists employed there and have always liked what Ive been given, which leads me to believe the owners only hire the best available. Michael is terrific, of course, and when given the opportunity will create the best fitting style for each individual, so in a sense his cuts could be considered a work of art. Im a male, so I havent experienced his coloring skills but I imagine the situation is analogous.

There are so many great things about this place. Great decor, huge fish tank, cute dogs, Anthony is an awesome mananger. But Michael is the star. My hair look amazing. It still looked amazing even after I style it myself. Since I have switched to their products my hair has never been healthier.

Michael and Anthony are two wonderful people and salon owners. They are hardworking and it is obvious in their work. I have been going to them for years, and so have my parents and sister. They are eager to please, kind, caring, and attentive. I would highly recommend their services.
