This should have a negative stars option. This is by far the WORST post office Ive ever dealt with. The staff is beyond rude and inconsiderate and they roll their eyes when they see people coming in the door. I recently moved and the previous owner has lost the mailbox key for our community boxes. I was told to come in with my settlement statement and pay $25 to have the lock rekeyed so I could access my mail. I have bills to pay and HOA documents and health insurance things that all got forwarded from the move. I asked the woman, who was so annoyed she had to fill out a short form for my rekeying request, if they could please hold my mail since I know the box is piling up and I need my mail. At this point, it had been 3 weeks since the move and they had given me the run around so much and so there was already 3 weeks worth of mail in the box. The woman seemed so aggravated I would ask for them to hold my mail there while the box was rekeyed. She told me NO, and that it would only take 72 hrs to rekey the box and then they would call me and give me the new keys and tell me what box was mine. Well, TWO WEEKS later I still have not heard from them. Ive left multiple messages for a supervisor and even gone in just to be told I need to see a supervisor who isnt "available" each time I make the trip in and stand in line for 25-30 minutes. I am beyond frustrated and now missing bills and its screwing up my sons kindergarten registration. This is unacceptable. Its such a simple request to reset a mailbox and give me access to my mail. Isnt that what these people are paid to do??!?! And I paid the $25 fee for a new lock and key as welll!! I finally reached a supervisor today who was very rude and told me she found my request FINALLY, and my box will be done tomorrow and they will call me to come get the keys when its done. This is the worst service by any post office Ive ever seen. Nearly a month without mail because they couldnt perform a simple task and no one could even hold my mail there as a courtesy while they figured it out. Im sure people need their boxes rekeyed often when they move and the sellers dont have the keys or they lose keys etc. This isnt out of the ordinary and it shouldnt have taken them a month to do this. Having late bills and missing important mail and not even being able to get to the DMV with a piece of mail to change my DL is beyond not right. The attitude of these people shows they hate their jobs and the service is so poor. It truly shows they hate their jobs by their rude and unprofessional treatment of the community they serve. I witnessed many older people being down right hassled and embarrassed by these workers because they needed help mailing packages and didnt know the paperwork and truly needed assistance. They were told to turn around and get the papers "over there" and then get back in line. How horrible! They cant navigate what paper is what in that mess and then to wait in line again?! Many on walkers or with canes. Its just the most ridiculous unprofessional unpleasant place Ive ever seen. I never have written a negative review on Google. This place needs to be called out for how awful they are and management needs to change hands and get these disgruntled and down right hateful employees replace with people who care about the community they serve and arent so mean and arrogant and just down right hateful to their customers. If you can avoid this place at all I highly suggest the UPS store down the road to mail your packages and do certified mail. Theyre very nice and very helpful and the services are quick. I will NOT ever mail a package or buy stamps or do any business with this post office ever. Unfortunately it is my assigned post office, but besides getting my mail, Ill always use the UPS store or the post office on cardinal where the employees are kind and theres never a horrible long line. Good luck to anyone who has to deal with this place.

This is the second time I stopped to mail a package and left without mailing it. The first time I just ran out of time. Today (1/4/16, 11:30 AM)... Yes, the line was long. An employee with blond hair was trying to help those in line that had "quick" tasks. Yet a short, rotund woman behind the counter with reddish hair and highlights stopped what she was doing to verbally accost the blonde helper. Verbal corrections are one thing. Loud, aggressive corrections with a tone that speaks volumes in front of a room full of people... I was left ill at ease. I dont really care if she was a manager or a nobody employee. NO ONE should be addressed in that manner, period, let alone in front of at least 15 strangers (there were 12 other people waiting in line and another employee manning the counters). I am disgusted by what this PO consideres appropriate management and from now on will make a point of going to one of the 3 other POs in town.

If you expect this USPS to try to help forget it! They didnt even want to give me a second piece of tape over my parcel insured over $1000! I said I was worried it would come open and asked for another piece of tape and was told "itll be fine, you have it insured anyway". Then I called them on my cell phone an spoke to Loretta and asked her to check the tape on the package as I was worried it would open up. She asked how long ago I was there and I was about 45 seconds ago. She said its too late its already gone off. What a an obvious LIE. Why ask when was I there? Obviously not interested in good customer service. UPS would have given me no problems. Now I have to worry until my package get there! I also asked Loretta whay I couldnt get another piece of tape, her reply, "you could have bought a roll, we are limited to a small peice per person" What a load of crap!

Terrible! I needed a second key for the mailbox, and that necessitated a lock change. Okay, and understandable that you cant just get keys cut. I paid, was given one of the new keys so that I could open it (and retrieve the second) as I dont live in Vero, and dont get there during the day - this was a special trip to sort it out. The guy expressed reluctance, and said it might take three days to do. I said fine, no rush as I dont get here every day. After pestering them for weeks, the lock was finally changed after six weeks. I now dont have a key to fit it - they used a different lock, no doubt because they took so long to do the job and forgot what key they had given me. I get through to a person on average about one call in ten. Most of the time it just rings, but sometimes its engaged, probably because some other schmuck is hanging on, hoping they will pick up.
