Gerber Collision is a chain and this review is for the Winter Park FL Location on Citrus Ave. This is a State Farm Ins shop and they had this on the list of their collision repair facilities to get my rear bumper fixed on my Infiniti. After speaking to Donna on the phone I stopped in the shop to check it out and get an estimate. The General Manger Mark Matson personally greeted me, he was very upfront, helpful and was willing to answer every question I had with no rush. I noticed there was more than a few higher end vehicles in the facility and that put me at ease as well as Mark being extremely helpful and approachable. They were booked solid for 3 weeks and gave me a drop off date which they kept. To my surprise when I dropped off the car the parts were already there and they promised a 3 day turnaround and they kept their word! The repairs look amazing, factory new! I even got the opinion of an expert body man from a very high-end shop in town that State Farm does not work with it and he also said they did an amazing job. I opted in for Text Updates and what a great system I was notified of the progress on my vehicle from start to finish. The paperwork was handled perfectly by Donna with State Farm. Awesome customer service from start to finish. Overall the best experience I have ever had with auto body repair, and I have had more than a few. Gerber did a high quality job and had the vehicle ready on time and in a reasonable amount of time as well. I highly recommend this Gerber Location. Mark and his team deserve 5 stars for their excellent work.

Took my 2013 Avenger here for repair from a car accident and the OTHER DRIVER was at fault and their insurance - Farmers - covered repairs. Took car their at Farmers say-so 12/13 and Gerber said come back 12/14, they dont take cars. They do estimates, then order parts and you come back then. I told them it wasnt legally drivable due to no drivers side mirror so they took it. Itll be ready 12/23 Called on 12/21 that my car was ready. Went 12/22 to get it (because I needed to drop the rental at the same time and I was driving my own truck because I disliked the rental). Arrived and the door handle wasnt repaired - just buffed. Was still badly scratched/chewed. They agreed to replace it. Took another look and the INSIDE chrome handle had a smudge/mark like someone either had a chemical or clear paint on their hands when they reassembled the door. They told me theyd look into it. I called Farmers. They wouldnt fix it because they didnt take pics of the inside door when I dropped it and it wasnt accident related (it was the shops error!) So I have my car, exterior handle was replaced but not the inside, which I now need to drop $100+ on it to fix something Gerber did and wont take responsibility for. Should have used my own guy. Wouldve been cheaper. $2600+ for a door, handle, front end alignment and paint is insane. You can paint a car for less (professionally). Wont be back. If any insurance says goto Gerber Ill say no. And so should you. The office staff is nice but the workmanship is horrible quality control.

Great work and Customer service Crashed my Lexus twice in one year. The first time it was totaled and the insurance tried to fix it and save money. But Gerber Collision Mike Piertri insisted my vehicle would never be the same. We got a second opinion and sure enough the car was totaled. Even though they would not make a penny from it being totaled, They made sure the right Decision was made. Great Customer Service. Hard to find Honest People in this world nowadays Thanks !

Although having an accident is never a good experience, getting my car repaired was a great experience! Everyone was so helpful and understanding. The employees at this location are super friendly and helpful. Had a minor problem with the front bumper of a used car I recently purchased and went to them seeing if they could help get it reattached and they did! As someone who is a computer guy and not a car guy, I really appreciated the help!
