Do not take your car here for body work. TLDR: Brought my car in to fix a minor dent. They made it significantly worse. After 2 weeks they finally had it fixed, but I had to pay 3.5x more than I was originally quoted. Brought in my new car with a very minor indentation in the hood. It was about 5 inches in diameter and was only visible from certain angles. The paint was still perfect. I was quoted a good price and they told me it would be done that afternoon or the next day. They called me later to tell me there was a problem and to come down and take a look. The initial dent was still there (about half the size) but now there were about 10 small "dimples" that caught the light from every angle and your eyes darted to them instantly. Additionally, there was now a crack in the paint where the initial dent was. It was now much worse than when I brought it in. They said they would try hammering it out but because of the crack they would need to re paint it afterwords. Because it was their fault they said they would work with me on the price. By the end of the week they hadnt gotten to it. The next week I had to check in to see what was going on. They were going to out source the paint work to a shop that they work with and they wanted me to cover the paint guys labour and materials. Again, not happy. The only reason that paint was needed is because they screwed up. A few days later they called to tell me that the hood was at the paint shop and it would be ready the next day (Saturday). The next day comes and goes without them calling me at all. On Sunday I called them and the owner picks up and says the car is ready but they are closed. He meant that the paint shop was closed. They had never received my hood back from the paint shop, so my was in pieces and not "ready" at all. Could it be that they dont know the hours of the paint shop they work with? All in all it took 2 week and 3.5x more than I was quoted to get a small dent on the hood of my car fixed. They charged me the paint guys fee of $300 even thought the paint was only cracked because they messed it up. The owner also claimed that the employee who quoted me was incompetent. Maybe they are great at other repair work, but dont bring your car here for body work.

I am from Panama City and my Van broke down in Oviedo near my Sons house and I was stranded. I had no idea where to take my van and as we all know there is a great deal of apprehension when taking your vehicle somewhere that you dont know. I read the reviews online and called around and decided to take it to Robert at Oviedo Auto Repair. Knowing I was on a budget Robert covered all the bases and come to find out my brake pad was broken and one of my bearings had gone out and the other one needed to be replaced. Right off I was concerned knowing that the Ford Dealer charged well over 800$ dollars for this repair and I being retired am on a budget. Robert took his time to explain to me what needed to be done and what it was going to take to fix the issue. All my concern was lifted when Robert informed me the repair was going to cost less than half of what the dealer was going to charge. Robert took his time and treated my vehicle like it was his own. Knowing I had to be back in Panama City a repair that normally would have taken a dealer 2-3 days to fix Robert surprised me and had it ready same day. I would have to say that in a country where service has taken a turn for the worst Robert hasnt waivered. The service I got from Robert was impeccable and it makes me wish I could have this kind of service back home. I wish I could let everyone in the Oviedo area know that this is where they should be taking there vehicle!!! David C.

I wanted to leave a review, because this is honestly the most professional, honest, mechanic I have ever worked with. I brought my Chevrolet Caprice in a couple years ago, because the transmission was slipping and having issues. I know Im a stubborn man to be driving such an old used police car, especially when its 20 years old, but it was my first car, and it means a lot to me, theres a lot of memories traveling with this car. Fearing the worst, especially after AAMCO wanted like 5 thousand dollars to repair it, Oviedo Auto Repair was very honest in their price, and was literally 1/4 the cost (I think it was even less!). This gave me enough money to still afford a rental so I could get to work. In literally less than 1 week, my transmission was completely rebuilt. Couple years later, this transmission still runs like a champ, better than it ever has. I will always highly recommend this shop. There was another review, where someone wasnt even a customer, but claimed he did other repairs without approval. I can understand the frustration, but there are indeed times where another repair may need to be done. In my case, my rear main seal was bad, and I find it good of Oviedo Auto Repair to fix that while the transmission is removed, rather than put the transmission back in the car, with a rear main seal that is going to spill oil all over it. It is good honesty like that, that makes them the best in my opinion!

It is a rarity to find a place and people like Oviedo Auto Repair when stressed and suffering from car trouble - (10 out of 10. Two thumbs up. Would go to them again for any other work I will have done) - Trustworthy, reliable, and hard-working. They genuinely care about the customer, their car, and its troubles. They listen, are flexible, and are happy to work with you. In my experience with them, they went above and beyond to do right by me and give me the best work I could get at the best price anyone could have offered. My car wouldnt even start when I came in contact with them. Now, the car has been driving great, theres little things I notice that show the dramatic improvement Oviedo Auto Repair made to it (beyond just the fact that they pretty much ressurected it, brought it back from the dead and made it driveable again, which is obviously a major improvement, lol) like the engines temperature doesnt seem to increase when I idle instaneously anymore and the steering wheel doesnt shake if I pick up speed and a bunch of other signs that tell me that they really fixed this guy up. I couldnt be more appreciative. Thankyou thankyou thankyou so much Robert and his team at Oviedo Auto Repair. You guys are life savers.

READ!!!! Do not go here. I did not get any work done at this business. I am a UCF student that knows a good deal about cars. But when it comes to electronics i don’t know where to start. Well my car wasn’t starting and by looking at the reviews below me i figured this would be the best bet. WRONG!! This is a hole in the wall shop. I towed my car here at 10 AM to find the gate outside closed. ( I just got off the phone with him before i came. He said he was open) 15 minutes later one man driving a customer’s car pulls in, Robert. He doesn’t say a word to me. He unlocks his gate and then talks about rapids water park with a friend he showed up with. Robert is the owner and doesn’t know common decency to introduce himself to a customer. As he talks with his friend, I am sitting in the hot summer sun waiting…. Finally I decide to leave. But now Robert wants to act. Where are you going? Aren’t you going to leave it with me? i have 30 Years ASE certification. Im 20 years old and i know how to treat someone that wants to give me money. Robert. Does not. Once i said that to him. He said "get that crap out of my drive way!" Customer is always right. Sorry Robert.
