Id love to be able to add to the positive posts here, but I cannot. I used this service on Saturday, 6/24/17, and it took 7 hours total for their guys to move a one-bedroom apartment that was already packed. All they had to do was load the truck - no stairs - and unload the truck - no stairs. It took 4 hours of that time just to load the truck; by the time we left to head to our destination, they needed a stop for water. I went on to the other end, where they arrived after 45 minutes or so. By the time wed been at our destination about 45 minutes, the rain came. If these guys had moved even a little quicker earlier in the day, the rain would never have been an issue. Instead, they were soaked and my furniture and boxes were getting soaked as well. At one point, one of the guys commented that they really shouldnt be moving my stuff in this rain, I asked "Do you get rain delays?" He walked away and told the other guy, who then came back to me and asked if I wanted them to take a break during the rain. He said "We can do that if you want, but were on the clock." I told him to keep going. When they finally finished, they told me theyd take off a half hour for their stop on the way. The bill was calculated off of a 9-hour day, even though it had been a total of 7 hours since they arrived. When I pointed out the discrepancy, they looked surprised and recalculated the bill. This move cost me almost $1200 just because the guys who were moving me were SLOW. My best suggestion to anyone using this company would be to hire two additional guys from a labor pool that want to work for the day, pay them $20/hour and it will be WELL worth the investment. If Id done so, I could have easily cut my bill by several hundred dollars. I did call the company on Monday morning to try to get an adjustment to my bill, and found that the guys who did the move had already given their supervisors an entirely different version of what happened. Surprise, surprise. Ive been a business owner for many years, and I realize there are always circumstances that can affect any interaction with a customer. But I suspect I am not the first customer of this company who has been given a raw deal simply because the people that work for them are "on the clock" and dont really care about what theyre costing the customer.

My 80 year old mother hired and scheduled Two Men and A Truck in Alpharetta, Ga to move her out of her Retirement home in Atlanta on Briarcliff a month in advance. They were supposed to be at her place at 8:30 am on the 28th of July 2017. My mother has cancer and her place has been packed up ready to move since the day before the move and they still have not shown up or called her and its 3:00 pm. After numerous attempts to get hold of the office I was finally told that they would be at my mothers place around 4:00 pm. Two Men and a Truck called me around 4:30 pm and stated they would not be able to make it out today and that they would be their tomorrow morning at the scheduled time that was originally scheduled for today. Due to it being a Saturday my mother had to pay the retirement facility a $100.00 for someone to be available on a Saturday. Not once did they ever call my mother to explain any delays and they did not care she had to pay a $100.00 for their mistake. We probably would have never heard from them if my mom did not contact me and I then in turned contacted them. She had already given all of her food and drinks away and has know bed to even sleep in tonight. I would have moved her myself but I was out of town and now due to this I am having to fly home to ensure she is taken care of. We thought we were hiring professionals that would take care of an elderly woman. I find this kind of customer service and business practice to a senior citizen or any age customer for that matter in extremely poor taste and would never recommend this branch of Two Men and A Truck to anyone. The two gentlemen that moved her on Saturday did a good job and I had no complaints against them. However the management service of this branch was awful and the communication was terrible if not non existent. They took advantage of an elderly woman with know apology to her at all.

This review is location of two men at Alpharetta Ga 30004 Based on a friends recommendation, I decided to go with 2 Men & a Truck in Alpharetta for my move of a 2000sq ft ranch house. 1st the estimate was done over the phone, they asked me some questions on what I was moving, so I gave them a high level overview of the items. I was told a 2000sq ft house could be moved in 1 truck and was given a price range. No need to come onsite to review, so I figured these guys are pros and know what to do. We ended up filling 2 of their biggest trucks (which are small to begin with). The estimated price ended up being $500 short from the actual! Many of pieces of furniture ended up getting scratched, my fridge got a dent, and at my new place we had multiple areas where the walls were dented up and scratched. Most of the furniture did not get wrapped resulting in the damage. The kicker to it all was my IPAD was STOLEN! I intentionally did not pack it and left it out so I could access my internet while the move was going on. A few hours later I went looking for it and it could not be found. I started doubting myself thinking maybe I put it in a box. After the move I went through all the boxes and it was no where to be found. I contacted 2 Men and a Truck and was told to contact the police, if found guilty then theyd refund me an ipad. I dont know how thats possible since in reality, its my word versus theirs. So if youre looking for a moving company who gives you a BS estimate, scratch up your stuff, and steals your IPAD...look no further, Two Men and a Truck is the company for you!

We hired Two Men and a Truck for our move to Lake Lanier. During our phone call with the Alpharetta office we did a room by room walk thru over the phone reviewing items that needed to be moved. We received our estimate which reflected a $ range and 4-7 hours of time. On moving day the movers showed up around 9:00 and by 1:30 they were trying to call in another team and truck to assist. No one was available b/c apparently "too many people called out of work" that day. So, after arriving with a full truck to the new house and unloading everything it was almost 7:00 pm and we sent them home. They said they would be back in the morning to finish the job which should not take as long as Day 1. They arrived promptly and begin loading on Day 2. Around lunchtime it became apparent this was going to be another long day. I called John at the Alpharetta office who said all they could do was remove the travel charge for the inconvenience. My issue is that they are the experts and shouldnt be underestimating jobs by this much. We had to spend two days moving and away from work. If they had had a rep come visit our home beforehand and do a walk thru this wouldve prevented our final bill from being over double what the high side of their estimate reflected. But, we had no idea at the beginning they were underestimating the job and had trusted their judgement. I told John we dont feel we should be responsible for the full 8 hours on Day 2 due to their inability to accurately estimate jobs. Ive now talked with the corporate office and filed a complaint.
