DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY--especially if you are moving across states. They get you with the price and the AMAZING up front customer service Sam provides...which will make you want to have paid 3 times as much as all the other companies quoted you because the end dealings with this company are just awful. They pack and move your stuff--hitting a car in the parking lot with their truck. They are within their timeframe and nice though--so you think, okay. This will be okay. Your belongings go into storage until its time to move your stuff. You cannot get ahold of anyone by email, or calling--leaving messages for days before someone calls you back. Oh, sorry, were not actually going to deliver within the 2 day window we promised when you hired us. In fact--we are going to charge you more than what we quoted, and be a week late. Their dispatcher John is also rude, unfeeling, and unwilling to work with you over the phone. I was given 4 different times/days that my belongs would be delivered to me--none of which happened. I was told a 2 day window september 1-2. I called all day August 31st...nothing. I waited all day until 2:30 on september 1st and someone finally called me letting me know my stuff woudldnt ship out until Sepember 3rd, and wouldnt get their until Saturday. Then on September 3rd, I was told, oh, your stuff will be there between 2 and 6 on Friday the 4th. Then on the 4th--around 1, I was told My stuff wouldnt get there until 7 pm. Then it was 7am on Saturday. Then again my driver told me his dispatcher-John-told him he HAD to deliver Friday night--no matter how late. so 8:30pm and my belongs arrive. My stuff must have also been thrown around a lot because 3 of the items CLS packed arrived broken and unusable. It was also not climate controlled very well because the tape melted--literally melted into/onto several boxes and furniture. They hire their work out as well--so they will say they are not brokers--but basically that is what their business model is. I dont care--so long as you dont lie to people about how you run your business. If you DO use this company because you cant afford anything else or get caught up in the promise of an amazing moving experience--Get everything in writing--even if Sam tells you you can just call him and hell do it--because he wont do it right. DO NOT sign their contract! It violates the law...? Or at least it strips you of all of your rights to your own property--which is insane. When you sign--you are allowing them to hold your items hostage unless you pay! You will be signing a contract that will force you to pay whatever price they say at the end BEFORE they will unload any of your items off the truck--which is different than what i found online saying that is illegal. They also have a clause in their contract saying they can charge up to 100% of the quoted price. This company is a scam. DO NOT USE if you want a good, honest moving experience. I read all of these reviews and chose to think the bad reviews were just an oversampling of a few bad days for the company and that there must be a lot more positives experience people just didnt review.... listen to the reviews. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.

Unfortunately I should have foreseen this because you pay for what you get. I was called by their sales guy Sam, and he gave me a good rate for a move from Atlanta to Dallas. I told him I needed my things in between the window of 3/29th-3/31st. He assured me they could absolutely make that window, but they would have to pick up my things 2 weeks in advance to assure delivery on time. I was fine with this so I allowed it. He gave me a delivery date of 3/30th and promised me it would be there no exceptions. I called him several times in the week leading up to the delivery and it was the same promise. The day week of the delivery I continued to call Sam to reassure my target window would be made, and this is when the companys true colors started to show. He never answered and he never called me back. The day before the delivery I called the direct line to the company and a receptionist answered and checked on my delivery. She informed me that the truck carrying my stuff had "broken down" and would not be able to make it until a week and a half later. I told her this could not happen as they had all my work stuff and I needed this to start my new job. She told me she had no more information and would get me her manager the next day. I received no call the next day so I had to call back. My call was not taken until the 4th time I called during business hours. I got to speak to the "manager" named Michael. Michael was RUDE, LOUD, and CUSSED at me for asking if they could send another truck to get my stuff. He told me that would HURT THEIR PROFITS, like Im supposed to care about their profits as a customer. I called throughout the week over 30 times and my calls were mostly ignored. My stuff was eventually delivered a week late with my desk broken and my couch stained. Ive tried to call the claims guys at CLS and they never answer. Its like they have a phone in a room they never go look at. This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with, and the worst people Ive ever had to work with. THE PEOPLE ARE WHAT MAKES CLS A HORRIBLE OPTION.

I just moved from Smyrna, Ga to Reseda, Ca. I needed a mover last minute but was very nervous with all the horror stories you hear about movers. I submitted my information online and had various movers contact me. I soon realized half the calls were from brokers. A rep named Sally called me from CLS moving in Atlanta. They were the only company that actually gave me an invite to their warehouse to see they were a mover and not a broker. We then went through a detailed inventory in which they quoted me $6800 to move a three bedroom home with a full packing service. I had no time to pack at this point. After researching I determined the price was fair and proceeded with CLS moving. On Sept 3rd, a crew of 6 guys showed up at 8am to start working. I was impressed how professional the lead guy was in explaining all paperwork to me and doing a walk thru to see if I had any extra items. I did wind up with a few extra items and was ok with the $375.00 increase and especially the communication. They made me feel like I had options and was not being forced into anything I didn"t want. That impressed me. They had me fully packed and out of my house the same day and my items arrived in Ca 7 days later. I really liked how they provided me with drivers number so I could call when I wanted which was another thing that made me comfortable. When items arrived driver and crew set all the furniture back up for me. Sad to say my 12 year old bookcase did not make it in one piece but I wasnt upset, thing was partical board and already falling apart...lol. Thanks John, Leo, Sally, and the rest of the peeps over at CLS Moving. I am one happy camper and will send all my friends/family your way.
