My husband and two children recently did an intown move where we had to move furniture to multiple locations. The moving guys with Allied Irish Moving onsite were professional, friendly, thoughtful and very hard workers! They handled all our furniture with grace and ease, and were very nice-- easy to be around people. A special thank you to head mover, Quay who was very patient while I had to sort out a problem at our storage unit. They were so good, I even had my elderly parents hire them for their move from their home into a condo. My father is so picky-- and he was even impressed! Great price, great movers and *very* helpful phone staff-- especially Julie. We had to work out a lot of per-coordination. There is a reason that people hire local movers-- because you get a family owned business of people who care. You cant go wrong with Allied Irish Moving for your next move!

For those planning your move, a tip NOT to use Allied Irish Moving. One of their employees stole our television, which has been replaced. In addition, several items that were in storage with them while we lived in an apartment were completely destroyed because of their poor packing and storage practices. And as a cherry on top, they have ruined our washing machine. Because their people failed to give us the proper paperwork, they are also refusing to pay for it. I know, we should have looked out for ourselves better in getting the proper insurance, but in general these guys have been quite sketchy, and now its costing us money. Just stay away.

I needed help moving, so I contacted Allied Irish Moving & Crating and I could not be happier that I did! I spoke with Alan who was very friendly and accommodating while scheduling my move - his Irish accent is pretty awesome! George, Jose, and Rashad were wonderful, they were on time, courteous, and just overall good people. Even though they hustled, they took great care when handling my items and did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend them!

Even though we had to keep rescheduling due to closing changes, they managed to get us packed up and moved quickly. They had a nice group of guys come out and made the move go smoothly. We would recommend them if looking for a moving company.
