Hi Guys, I wand to share my miserable story with you. All what I want to tell you is that: if you could avoid dealing with this office, never deal with them. My story is really miserable. 400$ mail package almost evaporated because of them. I want to tell you this: If you buy something from ebay, or from somewhere else, or your friend is going send you something which is important, I would highly suggest you using FedEx or USPS, and never get involved with this office. Let me share my miserable story: I bought something from ebay, which was worth for 400$, and ebay sent me the package using first priority mail. Mailman delivered my package for the first time, and I wasnt at home. Mailman was supposed to leave a notice to me, and I really didnt mind going that office and pick it up. Second time I was not at home either, but they said my address was wrong. Then my package was in a state of missing. I went to that office three times, funny thing is that their manager called me and asked me if I know where my package is!!! After a week, which was on last Friday exactly, they called me and said they found my package, and I could go and picked it up anytime. Today, i went to their office, their people told me they mailed my package back...... I really dont know how these people get hired. If you live that area, and if you would expect some important mail, I highly suggest you using FedEx.

Service is horrible. I was hung up on several times before finally speaking to a supervisor who lied completely about how she would remedy the problem. Our carrier steals medications, gift cards, checks, and sometimes doesnt deliver mail at all to our address for over a week until we call repeatedly to complain, and even though the mail shows scanned as delivered and was found at one time in his possession. We cannot leave outgoing mail in our mailbox because we cannot trust him. We came home one day and he was reading OUR newspaper in our driveway instead of working, and when he realized we were waiting to get in the driveway he shoved it back in the newspaper box and drove off quickly, never delivering our mail for that day. I have complained to several people at the Athens office on Olympic drive and to the main office in Atlanta and in writing. All they do is hang up mid conversation, make empty promises that service will improve, or tell me the driver has seniority and cannot be transferred to a different route or fired. I have to have all important mail shipped to a friends address so he doesnt steal it and I receive it in a timely manner. Very dissatisfied with the entire postal service at this point.

Ive never actually been to this post office, but this is the one that handles my mail / packages. I wasnt there for the delivery of my original package, because I didnt think that it required a signature. So, I got one of those slips and scheduled for redelivery. For whatever reason, they didnt get the notice of the redelivery. Sounds bad, but heres the redeeming part of the review: Someone from the Post Office called me and told me that we could figure out a way for me to get the package delivered to me without my being there, as long as I left the original redelivery notice with my signature. My dog literally ate that notice, so a nice woman on the phone said that she would call the carrier to see if he could swing by and deliver the package. I got a call back saying that the carrier couldnt necessarily break his route, but that he would be there within the hour and leave it at my door if I wasnt home. Based on my previous experience with other post offices and USPS headquarters, this is above and beyond what they would normally do in this situation. So, Im attempting to redeem the rating this Post Office has because they have been really helpful.

Always a line because they only have one or two people working. Then some of the people who are working are rude, slow, & distracted. Trying to get mail has been a nightmare! It was required to get the locks changed before we could use our new box was told 2-3 business days. Took longer even though they were caught up (original person told me so) then they didnt even do it right!!!!! The keys wouldnt work. Then they told me I couldnt get my mail till the box was working and to not worry about it since forwarding would take 7-10 days to even take request then the process of forwarding even though Im transferring from only 15 mins away! I understand some time delay but to not even check if I have mail while my box was being prepared is outrageous!!! Then they are clueless about what do in situations and are solo slow trying to figure it out. Its like they act no one is waiting on them! Then their answers to other peoples problems that Ive seen and heard are same go around. They try to pawn the work off on their coworkers.

I rarely leave reviews but my experience was so bad here that it needs to be said. When I got there, Im not sure if I had just entered a retirement home or a government agency, its hard to tell really. The people there move slower than molasses in January. Not only are they slow moving but they show absolutely no emotion or concern towards your lost package. "Give us your number and we will get back to you" is there response to your lost package. Well, they dont get back to you. Had a worker in this retirement home say "if you dont hear back from me in an hour and a half, call back." I said, "dont you close then?" "No" he responded, "I am here till 10:30." Yeah right grandpa, thats past your bedtime and your phone doesnt accept calls when you close. I was lied to! Go ahead and take the day off work because thats the amount of time it will take you to get out of there, even if youre the only one in line.

My door is 30 feet from my house and I have my route driver on camera repeatedly leaving notices "Sorry we missed you" without ever attempting to come to my door. being disabled, Im home all day. My camera monitor is on front of me. I have him recorded at 2:44 pm laving multiple notices that hed tried to deliver that day and the day before, which was a Sunday. I called and spoke to a "Derik" African American Male, who hung up on me the first time and so I called back and asked to speak to his supervisor and he said he was his supervisor. I called a third time and he ignored my call so I used a different number and he answered, frustrated that I cared about my parcels. He said he would contact the driver and call me back, which he never did. I am speaking with consumer affairs and the inspector general to resolve this ghetto service.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with at any business. After being told my package was undeliverable, I called several times asking if there was a way I could come pick it up from the post office directly. When I finally got a hold of someone, I was told to call back at 6 PM and they would take my package off the truck and hold it for me. Guess what? When I called back at 6 I was forwarded to voicemail because their phone hours were only open until 5, so I would have to wait until the following Monday. Now, my package has been sent back to the sender (across the country) and I have again been forwarded to straight to voicemail 3 times so far this morning. My advice: do everything in your power not to have to deal with this post office and its horribly lazy and unhelpful employees.
