BAIT and SWITCH SCAM If you want a luxury experience dont go here! If your time is valuable and dont want to spend all day in a salon dont go here! If you want service from a honest, up front, professional stylist DO NOT GO here! Short story... I just spent four hours( for the first two hours i was the only client in the salon) to get my hair to get shampooed, dried and flat ironed for $75.00 when it was suppose to be $35.00. Then I was insulted by the stylist. Who went on to tell me that he drives an Infiniti and has diamond rings so when he goes to buy a Burberry bag or orders extra sauce on his burger he doesnt ask how much it cost. Long Story I am visiting Atlanta. A few days ago I saw they had a promotion for 1/2 off Blow and Go on Tuesdays and Wednesday. One the phone he confirmed it would be $25 and$10 for the trim. (just over 40 bucks with tip by my calculations good value) So today I arrived at 9:15 for my scheduled appointment. He sat me in the chair, I reiterated that I wanted the back of my hair trimmed straight across and the top of my hair trimmed in layers. He said that most of his clients "if you cant grow it, we sow it" but that he preferred to work with natural clients with long hair like mine... After shampooing my hair he started to pre-dry my hair and it was frizzing up. I told him that my hair straightens better when it is sectioned off and taken straight from wet to straight or dried with rollers. He said, "I prefer to use rollers but I thought you didnt like the dryer." Anyone with experience with natural hair knows that you dont pre-dry with a paddle brush first for good results! After sitting under the dryer, he starts to use flat irons. I HATE FLAT IRONS THEY MAKE MY HAIR FLAT AND LIMP WITH NO BODY. So, I asked him if it was an extra charge to flat irons because he could skip it and just blow dry! That is when he told me it would be $50.00 for the rollers and that it would be $25 for the way I wanted my hair trimmed. Problem: He should have told me from the beginning that the price would be different. He didnt! He should have told me before putting in the rollers that there was going to be an extra charge. He didnt He should have given me the option to choose if i wanted to pay the new price of $75 or settled for whatever the $35.00 covered. He DID NOT. Instead he is sneaky and goes on to explained that he does not discuss prices with his clients. They pay him what ever amount he calculates and the end. That is some Bu!#S#*!. What if i only brought a certain about of cash. No credit card. By the way, what luxury business dont accept credit cards... Darius Head (stylist) and son of the owner waisted my money and my time today. I could have went somewhere else and got what I wanted.

The style and layout of this salon is breath taking. It is not only clean, but the stylist are very sociable. However, when I went in for a blowout I did not get a look that lasted - sadly. I have natural hair and I mentioned that I needed a special product for natural hair to keep my blowout intact. My stylist assured me it would hold and whenever i left, late in the afternoon, my hair was intact. The problem is when I woke up in the morning my hair had started to curl up already. I paid $70 dollar for a blowout that didnt even last a full 24 hours; to be exact it had only been 13 hours. Now Ive gotten a blowout before, but for $50 back home and it lasted for a week and left my hair feeling like silk, that is not what I felt when I got this one but I figured as long as it stayed I would be happy. Yet it hadnt held up and I feel as though Ive wasted money. I appreciated the effort, but I most likely wont come here again. The stylists were great, I just need a special product to keep my hair from frizzing and curling back up. So Ive giving three stars for the stylists and the shop itself, but I cant give five stars on account of my pervious statements.

I was visiting from DC and my cousin took me to the hairdresser. I am Capeverdian and my hair is thick and curly. I usually only let Dominicans do my hair so I was initially apprehensive about going to a black salon. As soon as I walked in the environment was fun, energetic, and full of culture. There was only one girl working and she happened to snag me up (so glad that she did bc she was amazing). I do not remember her name but I believe she may have been African, and she had a short cut, very petite. I swim and color my hair so as you can guess it was in serious bad condition. She detoxed my hair, put me under the dryer for 20minutes, blow dry, and then straightened. I did not even know that my hair could look so amazing. She did the razor cut and I was swinging my hair like I belonged on a Paul Mitchell commercial. To top it off, the price was good considering all the services I had ($105). The problem is that now that Im back in DC I can not find anyone who can manage my hair like them. I guess Ill be scheduling my flight soon as I need a new cut!

EXTREMELY POOR!! Dwight Eubanks does NOT know how to write a good NON-fraudulent check. I strongly recommend you NEVER NEVER EVER extend personal credit. CASH ONLY at time of transaction EXTREMELY POOR business ethics. just a caution. He may be good as a stylist. He is also a good scammer!! BEWARE
