Why is it that Ultas have such bad ratings for customer service? I am a frequent shopper at Ulta and a platinum customer with them. I love makeup but dislike ever going into one of their stores and I have been to many and in several States and it is the rare exception to have decent customer service. So I do most of my purchasing online. Take my most recent trip for example. I wanted some recommendations for volumizing hair care products so I was sent back to the salon area and told to ask any of the employees back there my question. The lady standing there gives me a look of disgust and answers rudely that all of the brands carry volumizing products and turns away. I mean REALLY? Its not like she was busy with other customers...no one else was back there. This is just one of countless examples of the poor customer service this store allows. They get away with it because they will do well whether or not they treat people well or not.

I am so upset with my first hair salon experience at Ulta. I scheduled an appoinment for a root touch up and walked out with severely damaged roots .... I have the top layer of my hair super short now . I have had the same color hair for the past six years and I walked out of this salon with a dark color I never asked for . I have a completely new hair style and I hate it. My hair was over processed and now I cannot fix it for the next few months and Im stuck with a look i never asked for . Never going back to an ulta hair salon again.

Have walked into this Ulta several, several times hoping to get help. Havent been offered help once, and can never find someone to help me. Since I live so close I kept going back with high hopes that Id actually get help, but I finally gave up yesterday and went to Sephora. Got offered help by at least 4 people within the first minutes of walking in, they got me what I needed and that was that, done within 5 minutes- super easy. I use to love Ulta, but I dont plan on shopping there again- especially this location. Super disappointed.

May be its Ulta policy or just this store...but arent they suppose to give you your birthday gift with your 1st purchase during your bday month? Or do you specifically have to tell them its your bday month and pls give me my bday gift like a beggar?? I purchased my Becca product today and it was my 1st purchase this month.. the emps were doing their own makeup rather than helping the customers and no bday gift at the register?!?!? You are treated much better at Sephora...

Went in to this location with the lure of a free gift with the purchase of a 20$ product I was interested in (advertised online). Went into the store and the same advertisement was listed next to all of the aforementioned product (St. Tropez). Went to register and employee had no idea what I was talking about. This is not the first negative experience I have had here. Customer service at this location is awful. Will be taking my business to Sephora next door.

Good location. Most of the staff are personable, friendly and will ask if you need help. Some times it is a bit frustrating when they run out of the products I am looking for. Smashbox eyeliner, and at times their Ulta products are unorganized and a bit disheveled. Over all good store.

TERRIBLE service. Employees were more concerned with doing their own make up than helping customers. :( Wont be back and, quite honestly, may be done with Ulta altogether. This isnt my 1st bad visit to an Ulta. Ill just go in and match my color myself and order it on Amazon! :)

I am currently waiting in line, and have been for 10 minutes, while a person returns items in front of me. Two different employees have walked to the front to talk to what appears to be a friend. I wont be returning to this location as the customer service is VERY poor.

This was the first makeup shop I truly explored... the only reason I get to four stars because reception for the phone was somewhat spotty but other than that the staff was incredibly helpful and I guess the prices on the makeup are quite good.....

Customer service is horrible here. And the salon is a complete rip-off. The stylists must be inexperienced because they always take a ridiculously long amount of time to complete a cut and color per say. Take your money somewhere else guys.

Awful experience and has to be one of the worst stores in the company. The managers are terrible, honestly some of the worst I have ever experienced in a business. That coupled with long lines, it is safe to say that I will never be back.

I loved the beauty products and the rates. I got my hair cut done here and the stylist was professional and gave me a very good face frame. But not the one to whom you could ask your queries about ur hair and get them answered

Im so happy I can find all of my Chi products under one roof! I also must say I purchased the best flat iron I have ever owned from here. The staff was very helpful and patient and gave me personalized attention.
