I wrote a review a week or so ago of Salon Moraee because the lady who answered when I called for an appointment was very impersonal, and responded to my "good morning, how are you?"... with an abrupt FINE. She offered zero professional courtesy or polite phone etiquette by asking the same of me. I was totally turned off at such curt responses so I told her I had wrong number and ended the call. She showed no interest or concerns for me and why I called that morning or returned my call, until my review posted. I would like to believe her efforts to make that unfortunate situation right, by way of a free haircut if I take my review down, would be OK. The irony to this story is this woman was borderline harassing me with phone calls and texts to take the review down and now all the stylists at this salon are too busy, and booked all day and all night, to get me in before my surgery next Tuesday the 20th. Today is Monday and I wrote the review Tuesday the 6th. Still no haircut even though I took the review down right away. It seems once again my courteous nature was not mirrored by this salon. Funny how this salon was able and willing to squeeze that other reviewer in the same day she called just this past week. The sense of urgency on behalf of Salon Moraee seems to have faded (with me), now that I deleted the review. I prefer to share my experience with others versus a free haircut anyway. ... ...Alisia is now trying to say I cancelled two appointments, which is simply not true. She was not polite, professional or courteous when she answered my original call, so special attention was not required. I only expect to be treated as I treat others. This woman is over the top manipulative and dishonest. I suggest if you want a haircut you might want to go somewhere else just to avoid this womans outrageous attempts to debunk the fact she is just rude in general.

I was truly pleased with every moment of my experience at this salon. First and foremost the level of professionalism yet personal touch was much appreciated. I have a severe knee injury and use a walker and not only the owner, Alesyah, and my AMAZING stylist, Shamir, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, but so did another stylist (I wish I asked for her name, Im sorry). The salon is clean, comfortable, and chic! I love that it is not a noisy, crowded establishment. I did not have to wait. I arrived on time and Shamir was ready for me. I cannot speak highly enough about this stylist. I have natural, thick hair and it was very knotty because I have neglected it since I got injured. Shamir took his time and was gentle. His wash and deep conditioning were great, but since my hair was so dry at the ends there were still some knots during the blow dry. Again, he took his time and worked through them gently. After flat ironing, he gave me a much needed trim. The man can cut yall!!! I highly recommend Shamir to anyone looking for a stylist who can handle natural hair. He is a boss! I walked out that salon feeling like royalty and i felt the price was very fair. I have found my new salon-home. Thank you Alesyah for providing an establishment with the ultimate experience, and thank you Shamir for taking outstanding care of not only my hair, but also my injured knee. Thank you so much to the stylist who brought the booster seat to help my situation. See you all soon!

Stay away from Salon Moraee! I had been a long-time client of the hairstylist, Dameon Malone, until he transitioned to Salon Moraee. Apparently issues between us began to fester over pricing inconsistencies, which seemed to change every other week. This situation came to a final head when I made my last and final appointment. Dameon instructed me to purchase hair a few days before my actual appointment and quoted me a price of $100. I received a text from him on the day of my appointment. In it, he told me that I would have to pay a total of $190 ($150 and $40 to have my hair braided), an additional $90 more than what he originally quoted me, and placed the responsibility for the price change on Alicia, the owner. When I called Alicia to ask her about the price change she offered numerous explanations about cost of product--blah, blah, blah--and said that she recently had a conversation with Dameon about under quoting prices to customers--blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, my hairstylist, Dameon, took my complaint to heart and refused to do my hair. Both Alicia and Dameon exercised poor business judgment and one can only hope that Dameon doesnt become overly sensitive and flake on you should you ever have a complaint. Stay away from Salon Moraee! Be aware of their prices and make sure they are consistent from one week to the next.

I just moved into the apartments where the Salon is located and had been waiting for the salon open. Once I saw it was open I immediately walked in and was greeted by the owner. They had a special $39 for wash and style so of course I wanted to take it it. I couldnt do the appointment that day but the owner let me have that price for the next week. What I first noticed when I walked in is the cleanliness and the modern design. It is so gorgeous in there, who wouldnt want to be in a beautiful place to get their hair done. When I got there for my appointment, my hair stylist was running behind so I sat for about ten minutes. My stylist was very nice and washed my hair and used a great shampoo that had tea tree oil. It smelled great and felt good. I also had a deep conditioning. After getting my hair dried, I had great conversation with my stylist as she did my hair. I was very satisfied and made a return appointment. I look forward to continue to have my services done there.

Salon Moraee is definitely a new location that I will be visiting often. When walking in I immediately felt comfortable, welcome, and it was a wonderful vibe and atmosphere. Bruce is amazing and very professional. He already had my appointment set up in the system and he was waiting for me. Alicia greeted me and double checked all of my information. I was immediately offered water or coffee and the salon was clean and well organized. Products were out for you to see and purchase if needed. I was given and amazing wash after a detailed consultation with Bruce. He wanted to really understand the style I wanted and he wanted to fully inspect and rub through my hair. I can go on and on. Ultimately, I enjoyed this experience & I will definitely be back. -Deborah S.

I have been going to Salon Moraee since 2008. Started out with the first one. If youre looking for a comfortable and safe setting, you are @ the right place. Beautiful and clean with a very friendly atmosphere. All the stylist does great jobs, so you will be pleased. Kimberly Lendmar is my stylist and if shes not there when I need her, I feel Im cheating when someone does it...lol. She cares and I love the compliment after leaving her care.
