Atmosphere and services are great! And judging by the positive reviews given by others regarding the staff, this place is fantastic if you get the right girl. But I only give 3 stars because of stylist Susan. I saw her the first time I went and she did a decent job with cut and blow out. But her friendly conversation consisted of telling me my hair was a "monster" and "surprisingly difficult" (Im Asian...its just sort of thick. definitely not unmanageable). If I pay a decent dollar to get my hair done by a professional, I expect said professional to not insult my hair. But I let it go and saw her again a few months later. This time, she was clearly rushed, and mumbled something about needing to go let her dogs out. She did a sloppy blowout job, and had left the salon before I got out of the smock room. Guess she didnt want a tip? Finally, my friend (who is getting married very soon) had a practice updo done in preparation for the big day. They assigned her Susan (against my suggestion). The updo was horrible. It looked like sloppy brains, and was already falling out within an hour of my friend leaving the salon. When my friend expressed her displeasure and sent pictures to the salon, they brushed it off as a "practice" and said they would just put more pins in it on the big day. Trust me, there were plenty of pins, they werent even hidden in the hair! It was just sloppy work. Shes now pursuing other options. TL:DR- love the salon, but I wouldnt put my money on Susan

I love Godiva Salon! The whole staff is amazing. I moved last February to the Brookhaven/Buckhead area and was on a desperate search for the right Salon from my old place in Roswell. Based on reviews, I picked Godiva Salon. I cant express in words how thankful I am to have found Mina! She is amazing and so honest with you on what works for your hair. I came in with dry, damaged, blonde hair. She gave me great advice as well as a few product suggestions. After a few visits, Mina has totally transformed my hair. I am back to my natural (ish) color and it is healthier than ever. She always makes me feel so beautiful every time I leave. Worth every dollar spent. Definitely recommend.

Ive been a devout Paul Mitchell salon customer for the last 6 years. In my opinion, Paul Mitchell has the best hair color on the market. When I moved into Atlanta, Godiva Salon really stood out as the type of Paul Mitchell salon that Im used to visiting. I actually drive well over an hour just to get my hair done here. Ive seen Mina several times now and she is wonderful. Im used to a certain kind of color experience and I explained that to Mina. She really listened to what I wanted and has always done an amazing job coloring and cutting my hair. To be more specific, she has done a fantastic job on color melting my hair so I can keep my blonde balayage looking great.

I dont usually leave reviews, but I had an excellent experience at Godiva a few months ago and wanted to share it! I was in town for a wedding and my hair was not cooperating. I called around, and the stylists at Godiva squeezed me in for a shampoo and updo. Not only were Tony and Danielle artists when it came to my hair, but everyone at the salon was so welcoming and friendly. My hair looked incredible and stayed in place all night. I received a lot of compliments. It was amazing how the salon took me in last minute, made me feel so comfortable, and did magic with my hair. I cannot recommend them enough: for their talent and their hospitality!

The owner of Godiva, Tony has been cutting my hair for more than 20 years! His ability to tame my hair and keep my look current is only exceeded by his warm, caring personality! Hes traveled the world teaching and participating events with Paul Mitchell but still finds time to make everyone feel like they have the most important head of hair hes every seen. All his stylists are personally trained by him to provide the same level of excellence. Its location in The Peach is walking distance to the new Buckhead Atlanta and offers easy, plentiful free parking. Go make it a day and feel like a million bucks when you leave his salon.

I returned recently after 20 some odd years because,well, plain fact is hes one of the best stylists in Atlanta.The moment you enter the door he and his staff make you feel right at home,great southern hospitality. April 2009 I went to Godiva after a horrific experience with a bridal hair trial at another salon. Britney was my stylist. She was so sweet, kind, thoughtful. I was greeted by the receptionist and given a tour of the salon when I walked through the door. Susan did my makeup. The day of the wedding, both Britney and Susan were so nice, calming, reassuring. They had just moved to their new location. My side of the wedding party also had their hair done at Godiva. We were provided with mimosas, bagels and fruit courtesy of the salon. Godiva offers competitive pricing and great customer service.

Haley cut my hair. It was exactly what I told her to do and she told me all her ideas she had for my hair before she did anything to it. The wash room looked awesome and the changing room was something Ive never seen before. The only thing that stopped me from putting up 5 stars was the location and the prices were a bit high for me. Besides that though. Its great! the receptionist is nice and gave me a tour before the hair cut. Definitely worth the money you spent. Im coming back there again for my pixie cut and recommending it to my sister and friends to try it out.

Ive never received so many compliments on my hair as I have since Jeanine started coloring and styling it. The salon is modern and edgy and the people are warm and friendly. I cant recommend Jeanine enough, shes awesome! Ashley has done my hair on the rare occasion that Ive needed to get in and Jeanine wasnt in and shes great as well. Its a great place for people watching! For the folks who arent too happy about the prices, try New York... You get what you pay for, definitely. Its worth it.

This place is awesome! The "shampoo" room is a spa-like experience, very relaxing. The entire staff is so nice and helpful -- very welcoming. Madison always does an outstanding job on my hair. I recently got it all cut off and she was exactly right in the type of cut she suggested for the shape of my face and hair type, and the color is amazing. Shes also really good at showing me how to style my hair and suggesting products for my hair type without being a "pushy salesman." Love, love love.
