Just had an experience with Troy and Sons that was not favorable. We needed several things done and they came out for an estimate. This is obviously an older home that we have been remodeling. The toilet had been leaking from a crack in the tank and we bought a new one to replace it. Well to make a long story short, the estimate was around 335 until they removed the toilet and sink. Then it was 935.00 to lower the flange (which was obvious for even an armature) and put a new pea trap in the sink. I had asked for a faucet to be replaced in a functional sink. I would not pay and now I have a sink that does not work and a toilet sitting in the hallway. When the pricing went up so much ( 3 X the estimate ) we were handed the phone and my husband was speaking to someone who was yelling at him. I try not to be harsh but if they had told me the cost could jump that much I would have said no. Now I am in kinda of a plumbing mess.

Norman and Troy (and son) were extremely helpful and gracious especially the first time Norman came out to re-light the pilot light on my hot water heater tank and explained that I would eventually need to replace it due to its age. About a month later, the pilot light went out again (late Saturday night), so I opted to replace the tank and avoid another cold shower. Troy was very kind to return my call that evening and agreed to come out the next morning to change out my tank. Troy and his son arrived as promised, replaced the tank and even suggested I contact my HVAC tech to fix my gas pipe to avoid any carbon monoxide issues. Thank you, Norman and Troy!! Im loving the (really) hot water!

I really appreciate the honesty and expertise of Troy and Sons Plumbing! They spent several hours at my house to locate a leak and were able to save us a lot of money by replacing an old pipe underground. They were friendly and knowledgeable and followed up with a call to make sure we were pleased with their service. We most certainly were and are very grateful. Do not ever use this company, they are a rip-off. They promise to do a job and dont perform the service that they promise. Trust me, dont use this particular company. Females especially beware!!!
