Overall my hair was nice. I really didnt pay much attention to the way she braided my foundation or sewed it in because we were talking. EVERYONE knows your foundation is everything! If you have a poor foundation your hair wont last. Even though the hair was tightly sewed & was easy to maintain it took me over 3 hours trying to take down my sew-in which led to me cutting my hair because the foundation was poor. Ive had plenty of sew-ins & yes sometimes you may cut your hair a little, but I had to cut more of my hair just to get to the threading. On top of that I came in with 4 bundles.. one was for coverage just in case we ran out, but only asked for her to sew in 3. I guess because we were talking she didnt catch on, but it seems to me she was in a rush & just doing it for the money and not protecting the hair from being damaged or breakage. For what she charged me i couldve went to the $50 weave shop elsewhere & got the same results but a much better foundation. They say you pay for what you get & I normally dont quote that saying because there are some stylist who charge less who do hell of good job just as much as the ones who charging their clients $100 or more. Lesson Learned ! pay attention to what your stylist is doing ladies !

- 0 Stars!!! the people in the establishment are TRASH. very rude and ignorant , the type of people you see with multiple kids from different daddies. the place itself is disgusting and unclean ,there are food, toys and old equipment with dusty expired filthy chemicals everywhere and they dont sanitize or wash the stuff they use. The owner (collette) is the worst of them all shes a disgusting person that is mad at her low class life. People like them are the reason many black people are looked down upon and cannot progress. I only went there one time and that was enough. I was treated like an animal and I am so appalled I am not only writing this review but I will be turning them into the state department for being filthy pigs! IF YOU ARE LOW CLASS, A HOODRAT, OR MAD BECAUSE YOU HAVE MULTIPLE BABIES THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU ,OTHERWISE DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR HAIR YOU WILL BE BALD JUST LIKE THEM!

I have been going to Colletes Hair Salon for over two years now. Coming from NY I knew what to look for in a stylist and Collettes got it. I searched high and low in Lithonia and bumped into Collettes on Covington Highway and have been going there since then. So if you are looking for a hair dresser who knows what she is doing then look no further you have just found her.

Every experience that I have had was The Best service Ive ever had. I have been coming to this shop for years. She always prompt and on time. I love the way she does my hair. The atmospheric is very pleasant. I highly recommend her to many friends. Prices are Awesome.
