I should have known when it took 7+ hours to do a full closure that something wasnt right... yeah the girl told me it was her 1st weekend on the floor, but going to a hair school I assumed that a teacher would assist... Ms. Silvia (as the students called her) was there but it soon became obvious that she would spend most of her time chilling in the classroom area only making a pass thru the floor every 30 minutes... and when the girl indicated that she needed help with my closure... Ms. Silvia instructed her to cut my weft... $189 weft.... and guess what 2 weeks later my tracks were sagging, my closure was a big circle in my head.... so I called and was told come in we will fix it.... wait for it..... when I arrived Ms. Silvia told me they would fix it for a fee after all they were students and it was not a real salon.... then she said a net should have been used.... hmmm didnt occur to you when I was there and you were asked for assistance? Bottom line my base braids were not put in tight enough, they were too far apart, and my stylist and Ms. Silvia lack the knowledge on how to do a closure using a weft and not a created closure. Both my daughter and I regularly get weaves so the ish Ms. Silvia tried to sell me about a net lacked validity.... and its INSOs lost on what could have been regular customers.... and I definitely wont suggest this spot to anyone looking for quality work.... and by the way my daughter has lumps on each of the rows of tracks....

Ok, I used this place once before but my prior experience was much better and better quality. Now, your getting less quality of work and fewer products used. I think 35 dollar is too much for a wash and blow. The girl is not good at styling, she is only good with using a flat iron. The other problem is the stylist ( Sylvia) was not very personable with the me, meaning she dont try to get to know you,so she can learn what you like. Getting to know me as a client is extremely important to me even if it is a school. I felt like just someone in the chair and everyone was talking over me .. My experience didnt make me want to come back so most likely I will never return even though the place is very convenient for me. Also, my curls fell within 2 hours. The hair follicles were dry and smelled burnt from the flat iron. I cant trust a stylist to cut and trim my hair when they cant even have a conversation. I want a stylist that will get to know me .. No worries, I will return to my previous stylist, she is far but now I know she is worth the drive...The only good thing is I was done within 1 hours, old stylist is just as fast.

WORST HAIR COLORING OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY TURNED MY HAIR ORANGE! MY ROOTS WERE UNEVEN AND TWO INCHES AWAY FROM MY SCALP! THEY ALSO WENT HORIZONTAL DOWN MY PART SO IT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE A RUNWAY ON THE TOP OF MY HEAD! WHEN I ASKED FOR THEM TO FIX MY DESTROYED HAIR THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME MORE MONEY!! ARE THEY KIDDING? DONT DO HAIR UNLESS YOU THINK YOU CAN HANDLE THE JOB...EVEN IF IT IS A SCHOOL! WHAT IS WORSE IS THE INSTRUCTOR WAS WATCHING THE WHOLE TIME! OBVIOUSLY SHE DIDNT KNOW HOW TO COLOR HAIR EITHER. MY HAIR WAS WASHED WITH CHEAP HERBAL ESSENCES AFTER COLORING. i DO NOT EVEN USE THIS CHEAP CRAPPY SHAMPOO AT HOME! BEWARE BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO GO HERE!! MY HAIR IS FALLING OUT!

I enjoyed my time at InsideOut Hair Salon. All of the stylists were extremely professional and QUICK! I arrived to the salon about 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment and I was greeted by one of the stylists there and walked over to the wash bowl. The wash felt really great and my hair felt really clean. I am completely natural and am very skeptical about who touches my hair. Sylvia took great care of my hair! My scalp feels clean and my hair feels very moisturized. And not to mention, my twist out looks amazing! I will be going back to that salon every time I need a quick wash and style for a great price! Sylvia Dawn and her team are simply incredible. I had a 9 am appointment, and in no time, four other clients showed up. I thought, "Oh, boy. Im going to be here ALL day." Oh me of little faith. Dawn had two assistants and a blow dry girl, and between all of them, they moved us through our processes in no time flat. I have never seen such an organized, methodical stylist in my life! On top of that, she is REALLY good with hair: she can relax, color and cut, which is quite rare in my experience. I am so happy with this salon. Its the best kept secret in metro Atlanta!

Reggie did a wonderful job doing my hair!!! I have been natural for 3 years now and have been looking for someone to straighten my type 4 curly hair. Reggie washed, conditioned, blow dried and silk pressed my natural hair to PERFECTION. It has so much body and life!!! She also trimmed my ends as they were long overdue for a trim. Reggie also really stresses the importance of caring for your hair, and maintaining your hair after she has styled it to perfection. I am in love, and will continue to have her slay my hair in the future!!!

I have been coming to InSO hair school for over a year and I have always loved coming here. The environment is always welcoming, the students are very knowledgeable and ready to please the customers. The instructor/owner Ms. Sylvia, is such a pleasant, friendly, accommodating person. She is ensures that you are ok while waiting and tries to ensure you do not have to wait too long. I would recommend her to anyone wanting a deal on all types of hairstyling including extensions. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE InSO Hair School!!!

Wellll.... it is a hair school so... I will just leave that there but I think with that being said there prices are too high, especially with one instructor on the floor to assist "when" problems arise.I have tried them a couple times if its simple, press & curl, rod set, trim maintenance stuff like that no problem anything else.... ehhh..... good luck. Ive never had a problem with customer service, this last hair fiasco was my last try with them for anything outside of the basic maintenance .

Im glad I found this place! Just got a haircut for an extremely reasonable price and the student (Maichelle) did a fantastic job. Her instructors were nearby the whole time to answer any questions, give advice, etc. The cut looks amazing too- one of my favorite haircuts ever. This is kind of an aside, but the students and instructors seemed to be having a great time and the place had a good community feel. If I were looking for a school, I would consider INSO. Thank you!

Reggie has the magic touch to give you that silk press look and feel that you want. I am so impressed with my hair. She took her time and explained the products she was using and also gave tips on maintaining my press. Since I have been getting relaxed for over 30 years, it was wonderful to receive the results of a silk press and leave chemicals behind for a break.
