UPDATE: Pep Boys did contact me to call me back and resolve the problem. I was fully refunded for my oil change and they replaced my cabin filter for free. I was satisfied with their service during that visit, and I appreciated that they were determined to help resolve the issue I had. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEP BOYS EMPLOYEES! I came here for an oil change and to have my cabin filter replaced. I told them that I would like to have the old cabin filter when they replace it (basically so that I could make sure they actually changed it. I have been warned about service shops who say they changed/fixed these kinds of parts, will charge you for it, but never actually did anything). When I came back to pay, the mechanic quickly ducked in to put my keys on the counter and told me that someone would be in soon as he was trying to step back into the garage. I stopped him to ask if he remembered to leave me my old cabin filter, and he said, "Oh, well I couldnt actually get it out. So, no, we didnt change it." The cashier comes out and starts ringing me up, and I say, "So they couldnt change the cabin filter. Just an oil change I guess." He replies, "Wait, what??" NOBODY TOLD HIM THAT THEY COULDNT/DIDNT REPLACE MY CABIN FILTER! Another woman who works there was standing at the register next to him and decided to pipe in, "He told me." Great lady. So he told you, but you just decided not to update my receipt, tell the other man, or be useful before Im catching you all in this shady deceitful act. This man was fully prepared to charge me this full amount, the lady wouldnt have said anything, and I would never have known that they didnt actually change it if I hadnt asked!!! Horrible. Im furious about the carelessness of this place.

THEY JUST WANT MONEY! The team at this location tried to convince me that my set of Michelins were bad when I went in for a routine rotate and balance which they refused to do the work because they wanted me to make a new sale claiming that the tires were being improperly worn. They were trying to get me to buy a entire set of new tires when it clearly wasnt time. They was visibly no improper ware and tear. They were no threads showing, no steel coming through the tires, no bald spots or hot spots and there was more than enough even tread to safely drive through an Alaska snow storm. These tires have been rotated and balanced adjusted for air pressure every 5,000 miles by Big Ten Tires before Pep Boys took over this place. These tires are still under warranty and I just realize its just simply not time to get new ones. What they want to do is offer me $20 per tire towards a new set simply so they can make another sale. Conveniently I would still have to cough up the remaining $600. THEY CARE ABOUT SALES NOT CUSTOMERS. I would never send my wife up there for them to try to take advantage of her pockets. I can honestly say I can get 40,000 more miles out of these tires easily. Their just tryng sale more tires and being lazy by not wanting to rotate and balance the tires when I have already paid for the lifetime rotate and balance. They just know that they are not making any additional money out of me when they do this. The management team is very rude and trying to take advantage of people in a bad economy. I called the corporate office and sent them photos of my tires which they claim to be bad.

The store manager and the mechanic that examined my truck were more interested in my safety than making the sale. Class Act. I was making a delivery in my truck when a sudden noise came from under my truck, like I had run over something, but I didnt see anything. I didnt worry about it and continued my delivery. I began hearing some noise from my passenger side front wheel and decided, since I was at least 20 miles from home, I would have it checked out before trying to return. After an initial examination I was given a best and worst case possibility scenario and told them to get started. Upon further examination it was determined that it was the worse case scenario and I was told it would be dangerous to drive any further. It was also determined that the damage came from the brakes being changed and improperly installed by another vender. I called the place that changed the brakes and they told me to get it to them and they would fix it. James the store manager had the vehicle put back together, apologized about my wait and told me to have a nice day.

I was at this store to pick up tires I ordered online. I was waited on by the Store Manager and could not be happier with my shopping experience. Although I declined her offer to have her shop install the tires on my vehicle, she maintained a very high level of professionalism. Her body language did not exhibit any negativity nor did she attempt to push the up-sell. I appreciate the fact she respected my answer. This lovable lady was very gracious through my visit to her store. She offered to sign me up for the PepBoys rewards card which I gladly accepted. Last but not least, she insisted upon carrying the tires outside to my car even though I told her it was not necessary. Everything she did screams customer service 101 yet very few people in todays retail industry get it. I hope her professionalism speaks for her entire staff. Because if it does, the store will generate a lot of repeat business and that is the key to running a thriving storefront.

Went in to have a severe rattle inspected on my truck. They told me I had a flat spot on my tire, but they didnt carry my size. I know they can order any size tire, but that was never offered. I went across the street to Kauffman tire, they had plenty of my size, FREE Kuerig coffee, FREE sodas, and comfy chairs. After purchasing the new tire, the wobble never went away. I took it to a REAL mechanic shop, within 10 minutes and a test drive, they said I was missing two bolts in my drive shaft! I even suggested my drive shaft, ujoints, and motor mounts be inspected to Pep Boys, and they told me everything was "tight"...How did that get missed? if it were tight it wouldnt have been vibrating! That is a severe mistake! I drove out of there, and my driveshaft couldve fallen off and left me sitting- anywhere- and possibly couldve damaged other parts! I wont be back, and I suggest you dont waste your time either.

Great customer NO SERVICE! Before Pep Boys took over this place, I had been going there for over three years. I go in a few weeks ago to get my tires rotated, they tell me one stud is broken and one cross threaded. Since they dont stock these parts and they were the last ones to rotate the tires, they said come back in about a week and they will fix it for free. Well, apparently I didnt come back in time and they did returned the parts. So when I did come back, the guy at the front is super rude and treats me like an idiot. Would not even look for the parts or in the computer system under my name for any notes, just told me they dont keep the parts over 1-2 days. Did they call me when the parts were there? NO! Way to go Pep Boys, I have two vehicles I was taking there for everything, and Ive spent a LOT of money there over the last three years but never again will I step foot in there.
