I took my car in Feb 29th to get an oil change....I noticed my car has smelled of strong oil fumes for the past week. When my father came over today he also noticed oil stains all over my driveway so he lifted the hood of my car. The cap to the engine was missing & laying on the ledge next to the hood latch and there was oil spilled all over the place!! He also checked the oil & said it was a full quart down! My father called the manager Mike to let him know I was coming in ahead of time because I had to take my son to his pediatrician appointment. Mike was rude & condescending to my father saying he "wasnt going to replace the cabin filter or give us free stuff simply because of the mistake" My dad called it total bullshit b/c my car reeked of burning oil & they needed to make it right. I finally got there to take my car in today & my experience was awful. The manager Mike never even apologized to me or acted like it was a big deal. He was condescending & rude insinuating I should have brought the car in earlier I told him I have a young toddler & I work full time this was my first day off since having my oil changed!! (how rude) & he replied "were only human" and make mistakes. So what if next time the tech forgets a few of the lug nuts on my tire & I loose control on the highway with my kid in the car because of his mistake? I said I understand that but there should be safety checks to make sure this careless mistake doesnt happen. What does it take 2 extra seconds to make sure you screw the cap bag onto the engine!?! He was hesitant to change the oil filter when he spoke to my dad which I found ironic b/c that came free w/the oil change! I told him I didnt appreciate his attitude and lack of aplogy. He said that it was "embarrassing to apologize for someone elses mistake" & that he "usually waits till the end when everything is taken care of to apologize" Well Mike you are the MANAGER & that other tech who made this damaging mistake to my car is YOUR EMPLOYEE so I think an upfront simple apology would have sufficed. He came out again later telling me that the car was cleaned with an engine de-greaser & not to be alarmed if I smell strong fumes for a few days. Just what I wanted to hear hauling my toddler around that he is going inhale these fumes. To top it off I couldnt use my heater for the past several days because of the strong oil fumes from the oil spilled all over the engine & under the hood of my car. An hour and half later...yes they took 90 minutes to fix their "mistake" while my toddler son was running around their dirty waiting room & with no changing table in the bathroom I had to change him on a bench outside. Heres the final kicker when my car was finally fixed the manager Mike was no where to be found. Instead the cashier/tech Isaih rung me out & was just going to let me leave with no resolution. No offer from Mike for a free oil change or my money back & no grand apology at the end which he claimed he would fulfill. Its disgusting how I was treated & what they did to my car. I called another store in Fairborn to get the regional managers number...called a recorded line this evening to file a complaint & Ill be waiting for my call back after my 9 hour shift tomorrow & picking up my son breathing in engine de-greaser fumes. Mike you are a sorry excuse for a manager. I dont appreciate the way you treated me. The last time I got my oil changed at Firestone I asked the tech to print out the cost of a new set of tires since Ill be needing them soon. You not only lost a customer but a potential $389 tire sale. I asked Isaih for a $24 refund on my oil change since they didnt offer any compensation for my wasted time & the giant oil spots I now have to clean up in my driveway of my home. Upon leaving I popped the hood of my car & noticed a lining of oil spilt so I could tell they did a half-assed job in cleaning it up & could still smell oil fumes when I turned on my heater so Im sure they did not replace the oil filter or cabin filter as promised.

I have been a valued Firestone customer for 12 years now and I can honestly say that this is the worst one that I have ever been to. I have lived all over the country and have visited multiple locations and have never been this disappointed with service until I came to this store. I bought my 2005 Dodge Ram here for brake service and these guys kept my truck for two days. The reason they say is because I needed a new brake booster and the ones that they kept ordering were faulty. Ok, i understand that parts come in sometimes faulty but i thought that Firestone had their own parts...but the technician informed me that this particular store orders its parts from Advanced Auto Parts, which is a head rubber to me. After two days of having my only means of transportation, the technician named Rick, not only charges me $530.00 for this service but, who by the way lies through his teeth all the time just to get you out of his face, told me that my break pedal was a little light with resistance (it actually had zero resistance) but it should be fine because he drives a Dodge too and his does the same thing. Hello!!!, my Dodge isnt your Dodge and if your truck is doing this, well, you sir, are a horrible mechanic and should be fired immediatly!! I got in my truck to start it up and notice that the brake pedal went all the way to the floor! The truck does stop, but it stops in the middle of pushing the brake pedal down which means that there is still a lot of air on the lines which means that they never bled the MASTER CYLINDER on the Brake Booster! I know this because i know my truck and how the parts work on it! Secondly, there is water now leaking from my air conditioner compressor when i start it up and i was definatly not doing that before i bought it to this location! I called the again and this time i got Rick on the phone and he asked If i could bring it back. NO, I WILL NEVER BRING ANY OF MY VEHICHELS TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN! How can you call yourselves proffessionals!? This is rediculous! At this point, I have already contacted my attorney as my attempt to reach higher managment has been unsuccessful. signed, One Very Pissed person who is fed up with the shady mechanics that this location hires!!!

I have been to this shop two times now. I used to like the free lifetime alignment option, and planned to do this on my 99 Pontiac grand prix. Not only was I told my car was in too poor of shape to perform an alignment I was also given an estimate for almost $4,000. I return to pick up my car and proceeded to go to a different shop that had no issue performing an alignment on my car. This car has been family owned since 1999 and all the maintenance performed by a certified mechanic (family member), and ahead of time. Nothing wrong with any of the components to not allow for an alignment. So the joke was on firestone for suck a joke of an estimate and wasting my time. Now fast forward two years, two feet of snow in my driveway and unable to perform maintenance. Major leak seen in the parking lot near firestone. Against my better judgment I went into the shop to see if they could give my truck quick look over. The same employees told me to drive home and come back tomorrow. Turns out I have a major safety recall on my truck, and I am at risk of caching fire just by driving the truck. The total time to diagnosed this problem was less than 10 min. Bottom line, this place maybe good for people that want to spend a lot of money on repairs that are not needed, and overlook major safety repairs that are needed. They will happily take your money – but you are not getting the quality you should expect.
