EXCEPTIONAL TEAM, SERVICING AND PRICES. My DELL Notebook had an issue of running extremely warm and forcing the unit to power off within 10 minutes of operation. I took the unit to a big box retailer to repair it a month before and was charged over $300 and they kept it for almost 2 weeks. Before that I took it to a small computer repair place to address the same situation back in JANUARY and was told that I should replace the computer or they can attempt to fix it for the low, low price of "between $250-$500. I was completely surprised by the arrogance and lack of professionalism from this company. I was in Kennesaw and noticed a computer repair place right on Barrett Parkway. I went into Computer Renaissance with the understanding if they tell me anything similar to the other companies I would eagerly use the lap top as target practice. I walked into their store and was promptly greeted with a smile from a lady and asked how was I doing and how can I assist you today? I stated to her my concerns with my Lap top and the various opinions I received from other repair businesses. I didnt mention anyones prices at this point. She eagerly took my computer in and stated she would let me know what the computer would need if anything. She immediately dropped my guard and I began to regain optimism that I finally had a company that would truly work for me the customer not their pocket books. I dropped it off at 1p on a Friday and was called at 3p the same day to let me know that I didnt need anything but a disk clean-up, a couple updates and a new anti-virus that runs efficiently with my operating system. I picked the computer up at 6:30p that evening and was met by a pleasant Man, I assume was the owner by his mannerism and his eagerness to make sure I didnt have anymore questions. He also described to me that parts replacing isnt what their business is all about. Just for my own knowledge, I asked him if he where to replace everything the other companied claimed I needed he stated it would have been almost half of that and I would of had my unit back in less than 24 hours. The group and its teammates where not only prompt, informative and solution providers. Their professionalism and eagerness to assist me goes without saying from the Technician I saw in the back that waved and said thank you for your business to the The Man that explained things to me in detail and the joyous and attentive Lady that initially helped me are an exceptional team , organization and true stewards of their business.

Poor customer service and very rude staff. False advertising with coupons and refused to take the coupon. Do not get trapped with these scammers. Take your business elsewhere In response to their response: I did not ever confirm that the coupon was invalid. I contacted the coupon business (Campus Deals) which is meant to help student in need of discounts. I was told on the day that I brought my computer in that the coupon would be valid. One week later after they told me it would be 300$+ to fix it, they refused to take the coupon. Let me reiterate, the coupon was valid at the time when I bought my computer in and they said they would honor it. Not only was my coupon not honored, but my computer was snatched back from my hands by one of the owner/employees. They will do anything to get you to pay their $50 junk fee and I will also be reporting this incident to the BBB. PS: I ended up getting my computer fixed for free because Computer renaissance misdiagnosed my problem in the first place. March 2016 Update: They threatened to sue me because I wrote a negative review. April 12, 2016 Update: Im responding about the coupon I provided. In 2014 when this all happened, the coupon was VALID when I took my computer in for repairs. The coupon was for the following: Free Diagnostics. (Campus deal coupon) They told me they would honor the coupon. While my computer was being looked at (for a week or more) the coupon expired during that time. When I returned, they demanded their 50$ diagnostic fee and snatched my computer from my hands. They have since threatened to sue me over this negative review. I RARELY leave negative reviews but others have a right to know that this company will try to scam and/or find a way around discounts like they did to me, a college student at the time. I hope this review is helpful to someone out there.

I really hate giving these guys a 2 for rating, but the last issue I had with my notebook I felt that I was not represented well. Computer Renaissance sent my notebook out for repair. When I got it back, a few of the keys did not work and the card slot on the side was broken. I immediately called CR and was told to bring it back up. As I was explaining the issues, Steve (owner) wouldnt pay me any attention. He was looking at something else and said "Well take a look at it". I explained to him that I knew it wasnt their fault and that they should handle it with the 3rd party who repaired it, cause I didnt want to incur any extra cost and didnt think that CR needed to either. He wouldnt do it and insisted that he would take care of it. I waited another week to get my notebook back, paid another $50 (on top of $300 for the motherboard repair) and explained to him my dissatisfaction. He really didnt care and all he could explain is: "Do you know how many pcs we send out and come back with something else wrong?. Theyre (3rd party) not going to work with us". Well, sounds like they need to start using someone else who provides better customer service. Mind you, I was extremely patient and considerate enough to make sure that their customers couldnt hear our discussion. I told him that he could take care of me and Ill continue to come back or he could charge me and I wouldnt return. He said, "$53". I paid the man and Ill never go back. Sometimes, a customer just wants to hear that you understand them and that you tried. If I would have received that from him, I would have happily paid him and continued to utilize their services. I will say that Jessie, the technician is great and is very helpful. I think he needs to get out and start his own business.

Horrible Experience!! DO NOT GET TRAPPED WITH THEM!! I had a milk spill on my HP Laptop, well this accident happens when you have kids at home! My USB port and the touch pad were not working which he verified while we were giving the laptop. But seems like "Steve" did not mention it on the ticket he created. I asked him if he can fix it. He switches on my laptop and tells me that its not the problem with the Motherboard because had it been, the system would not have booted/started at all. He said, that they just need to clean the milk spill and would call if anything else is required. So I got a call that there was a wire that needed replacement. Of course I agreed. When I pick my laptop I pay 200.56 USD for cleaning and replacing of a wire. When I check my laptop, the USB drives are not working. I call them and talk to "Shaun" He says come over to the shop and give it for checking and repairing. SO I go over there. Now Steve says my laptop was not even booting, and that USB issue was not in the contract. We are so shocked at this kind of the service!! Steve denies everything. Well I wasted my 200 Dollars on poor service and short term memory issue of the service guy. I am never going back there and my advice is if you go there, make sure you get them document each and every thing, no matter how petty or small the issue is. Better be safe than sorry.
