These guys are INCOMPETENT and DISHONEST!! I took my 2003 Honda Odyssey to them with a transmission error code. They charged me $512.65 to replace a pressure switch and a range sensor and assured me the problem was solved. Seemed fair to me. Problem occured again and after reinspecting said it was a bad ground wire from engine to frame and, again, problem solved. Problem occured again and I took back a third time. When I went to pick up the mechanic came out and said he hadnt had a chance to look at car yet (after having all day). He tightened the battery cable and was sure that would solve problem. Problem occured again, fourth time. This time I took my Honda to Gwinnett Place Honda. Dealer found an after market alarm system installed by previous owner that I didnt know was on car that was causing an electrical short and making computer read an error in transmission. The dealer removed the after market alarm system, charged me a reasonable price and gave me a rental car for the day. I have not had the problem since. I contacted Paul, the manager, and explained everything and asked for some sort of reimbursement since they had failed to resolve the problem. Paul said he would speak with Scott, the owner, and get back to me. Paul never called me back and after calling numerous times to find out if he had spoken with Scott, Paul told me it was his opinion that they did solve the problem and there was nothing they could do. NEVER USE THESE GUYS!

New Management! Amazing customer service! I have always taken my 1998 Honda to this location for repairs and had transmission work done in 2012 with great success. On my visit this week, I was worried about the severity of what my repair might be. The gear shift wasnt slipping into gear properly, and I was thinking the worst. I reluctantly brought the car in - figuring Id get the run around and a list of items that needed to be fixed. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by new owners Matt & Matt and helped by Sam. I only waited an hour for the problem to be diagnosed, the part couriered to the shop and the repair work to be completed. I had two kids in tow, so for me this was incredible customer service. They are honest, hard working and genuinely care about making sure you understand the repair process, cost and future maintenance. It was nice to have a good car repair experience without the usual stress that comes from a visit to "the shop." I absolutely recommend this Aamco location for transmission work and more. We are headed on vacation at the end of June and I will be back to make sure the car gets a tune up before we hit the road.

YOU Decide! I was given a glowing recommendation to take my car to Aamco on Pike Street, Lawrenceville, Ga. Arranged w/the manager to bring my car in after getting a $750.00 estimate from the local Jaguar company to fix a pan and sleeve for my car. Was assured that they knew this type of car, could complete the job in the agreed time frame and that it would only cost me $215.00ish to do it. ALL WRONG! ended up taking them 3 day do do absolutely nothing but charge me $329.00 for repairs and ($725.00ish was the original quote prior to my complaint).... then told me there was never anything wrong with my transmission to being with. WTF!? Had to rent a car to transport my child back and forth to school ($113.00) Found my car unlocked duing posted business hours on the lot...(not a great neighborhood either) My story could go on and I am sure you could guess where it might lead to, this company does not know XJ8s like they say that they do. My advice to these people.....JUST BE HONEST! If you dont know what you are doing, move me along....I will find someone who does and hopefully avoid the hassle.

I recently went to AAMCO to get my 2001 Nissan Frontier fixed. I had a major oil leak on my rear main seal and also had a cluster problem with my speedometer. Since new management has taken over at the aamco the service is far beyond what I expected. After calling around to several different companies I found out that aamco gave me the lowest price and also fixed a few other problems that they didnt even charge me for. They finished my car in that time frame that they said they were and they also called to inform me on other issues that they found and that they fixed at no other charge. Matt Kilpatrick had great customer service and very helpful throughout the whole process . I will take my car and also my familys vehicles back to this aamco since it has new management. Ask for Matt hes the guy that helped me out with everything and hes very knowledgeable.

Took car for transmission fluid replacement and filter change. I was told it was going to take couple of hours, this is second day my car is there and i have not received a call yet, im picking up my car today, what a waste of time. Also they said they have not had time to look at transmission. Transmission??? i asked them to do something else, then they mentioned the range sensor might need to be replaced, but not sure, if i needed the car i could pick it up and reschedule, reschedule??? The mechanic is not sure if transmission may need to be serviced, i didnt ask them to do any of that, he was going to have manager call me to let me know what was wrong and quote for what needs to be done, excuse me?? I asked to do a specified service not to wonder around and guess what may be turning check engine light on, what a waste of time

Would like to acknowledge Randall for his professionalism and patience while working with him to resolve a complicated and difficult matter with the transmission in my BMW. While the transmission in the vehicle was irreparable, Randall attempted to find me a suitable replacement. This was not possible based on the cost of the replacement and the value of the car. Randall allowed the vehicle to remain on the property without charge until I was able to dispose of it. He could have charged me storage fees and additional labor but felt that doing so would only make my bad situation worse. Empathy and ethics are not common today. I am happy to say that Randall possesses both qualities. Enthusiastically endorse him and his team as pros worthy of praise.

Thank you Matt K. and the rest of the team at Aamco W. Pike St, you guys did a great job with my car. My car had all kinds of lights on when I took it to Aamco. When I picked it up no lights on. This car has had the check engine light on for so long I have to get used to the light not being on anymore. If you want your car to work take it to these guys they are super friendly, caring and hard working. They will not quit until they take good care of your car care needs. Thank you so much guys!!!!

We have had great results taking our vehicles to Aamco. Steve always has very friendly, helpful employees. We have found that the assessments of our problems have been accurate and they do only necessary repairs. They explain exactly what is needed and let us know if there is more than one option. We appreciate their quick turnaround time in getting the car back to us. We highly recommend Aamco. They will always have our business!
