What can you say about a self-storage facility? They all are pretty much the same. They’ve got individual units of varying sizes, fences, locks, access controls and tenants. Yep - so does the Public Storage facility in Lilburn, GA on Beaver Ruin Road. What other places DON’T have, even Public Storage’s own locations, is the site’s manager, Darlene. She makes the facility seem more like a neighborhood of tenants than just a self-storage place. The facility is kept clean and in good repair, and if there’s a problem, it doesn’t last long – Darlene takes care of it IMMEDIATELY! I know. I’ve been a tenant there for several years, and have a larger unit now than I started with (it happens). We have respect for her place… Seriously – during one visit, as a friend and I pulled away from my unit, I noticed in the rearview mirror that a plastic grocery bag that I had been using as a litter bag in the car had fallen out on the pavement. I mentioned it to my friend and said I was going to drive around the building to go back and pick it up. When we rounded the last corner of the building I scanned the ground for the bag. ‘Couldn’t see it. There was no wind – but the trash bag was just NOT there! Then I glanced at the far end of the building when movement caught my eye, and I saw the tail end of Darlene’s electric cart disappear around the corner. She had been on patrol, as she often is – just “making sure things are right”. That kind of care makes the tenants themselves care. Thanks Darlene, for all the waves and smiles, ”extra miles” and the great and many services you’ve supplied over the years – and thanks for the many things youve done which must surely have gone unnoticed. ‘Hope to see you again soon.

I needed a storage due to aparment hunting. So I did a quick google search of my area, found this location on Beaver Ruin had pretty good reviews, so I dropped by to see what my options were. Vanessa actually let me take a look at the unit that she recommended for me. She was very, very friendly & informative being this is the first time Ive ever had a storage. I didnt get it then, but I came back the next day to seal the deal. This time Frances helped me. She as well was very, very friendly & informative. Both her & Vanessa have great customer service skills which really does go a long way. They both put great confidence in me getting a unit. They are both great. I conversated & joked with them both. VERY FRIENDLY. As for the facilities: I have an outside unit. it is very, very secure. You need a personal code (that they provide you with) to get into the gate AND to get out. Once, I was a little uneasy when I pulled up & the gate was wide open. Until I went in & it closed behind me. No more fears lol. I love my unit and this location. I dont even worry about my stuff, although I do stop by to check on it every now & then. Everything is EXACTLY as I left it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS CHOICE.

I found the Beaver Ruin Location from a Google Search. Needing a storage space due to a quick sell, timing was of key importance! I was able to book a reservation online; within 8 minutes I was contacted by the property manager {Darlene}. Darlene was extremely professional. Earlier that week I experienced a foot injury, and Darlene not only gave me curb side service( Golf Cart) from the front office door to my storage space, but while I waited her new trainee {Elana} informed me of all of the guidelines and features i.e. grounds keeping, security, and overall process and procedures. After it was all over, I was provided with a packet of all of my contracts as well as my security code. I dont know if Public Storage needs the advertisement, but I have already recommended to 3 contacts of the professionalism and ease of use at this location. Thank you Darlene and Elana! JK Lilburn

I love this storage facility. Darlene is outstanding!! She has a warm, professional, personal and positive personality. She took the time to help me pick the best storage facility for my needs even though she knew I was looking at other options. She is the reason I chose this facility. She even called to check on how things were going as I started moving things out of my garage into the facility. Oh, and the place is extremely neat and clean. The facility looked brand new and I am a neat freak so that made it even more perfect!! I can definitely recommend this location!

Worst most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. My unit got broken into and all my belongings were taken. Not only did Public Storage not apologize, the manager Twanna Sims lied to the insurance company about there being "no break ins on that row" which then lead to my claim being denied. So not only do I not have anything to my name anymore, they arent going to pay out my claim because she lied. She also claims theres no security cameras on the row my unit was on. Sounds like an inside job to me. DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE UNLESS YOU DONT VALUE THEM.

Hello to ALL, I would like to tell everyone about MY experience at Public Storage (BeaverRuinSite on Hwy 29 side). When i walked in i was immediately greeted and made feel comfortable by Darlene. She was very personable AND professionable, was always smiling (making my afternoon a very pleasant one) I have a unit at a different locale but wanted to pay my bill since i was rite there at Krogers. The pymt was processed and with TOTAL professionalism and coutesy. I was very pleased with my visit, and Darlenes kindness and care kept me going ALL day long, Thank you!

Came to check out the pricing on boxes and storage the other day. I spoke to Frances and she was very helpful with my search. I did buy 10 boxes from her and get tape. Which she was the closet to me because I would feel safe knowing she is there and that if I had any questions she would answer them with no problem. She spent 45 minutes with me showing me what size would be good. How to stack so I save money and about how to pack everything. DId not know there was a differenace in boxes and tapes that are sold. Knows her information

Dianna was a great customer service manager. I arrived a little late and she helped me out no problems. Made sure I had the correct size unit and everything. It was also really nice to have the ability to fill out all the paperwork online so when I showed up all I had to do was sign. I even paid for the first several months ahead of time so I wouldnt have to worry about paying another bill as I transition to move into the area. Thank you for a great experience ^_^

LOVE this place! Darlene has always taken the time to get to know me personally, she never gets impatient and is always willing to help in any way she can. I love how down to earth she is. It doesnt just feel like im going in to a business when i go there, while she does maintain a proper business demeanor, it still feels like im stopping in to see a friend as well. Wouldnt store my stuff anywhere else! :)
